That Defender around 5:20 is just textbook on how to do it 😎 I'm also getting the feeling the Koreans make their cars watertight. The amount of Kias and Hyundais just casually driving through is amazing!
First thing they should do is to install a snorkel. Sure, it looks very ugly on a bimmer or a sporty vehicle but it should help . Look at those Toyota or Land Rovers with snorkels with a safari package 😊
What happens to these cars? Do they work OK after drying out? Is it expensive to fix them? Do they get towed away, and that's the end of them? Some seem to get through the water ok. Do they break down later? I don't have a car, but I like watching these drivers because they are very entertaining.
Usually, it hydrolocks the engine (floods the cylinders with water) which is normally either really expensive to fix, or really REALLY expensive to fix….it amazes me that so many idiots attempt this when there is always a detour of a few extra miles available
Once the car cuts out im fairly sure the cars a write off or at least a very expensive fix, as the air in-take has taken too much water and the exhaust system will be flooded?? Either way wouldn't recommend it 😂
@@redbeard3923 Water in the engine can be dealt with, just don't try starting it with the plugs in. You can eject the water by cranking it, but you need to have given the water an escape route first otherwise bye-bye engine block.
That first and second clip That was fine. Dunno whats a matter with those cars in the UK. Just stalled or some electrics got wet. There is no way that should have flooded the engine. Come to Australia. We drive through more water than that.
I would never drive my car through deep water because it can damage the control units located lower down. It's the same as throwing my phone into water.
That grey Mercedes ev van probably now has water 💧 in the battery what people don't understand about evs the have vents in the battery to let fumes out when charging so if air can get out water can get in like what happens to the ev in America that burnt the house down
@@dannycrooks8462 Very true & there may well now be more than one electrical shorting issue caused by water ingress on that vehicle. Rich Rebuilds has stripped down flooded Teslas & a lot of the components on those were not water submersible rated.
I'd heard it either had reopened or was due to,in the interim enjoy the buckden footage, it's near to me and I can confirm we have a disproportionate number of moneyed up bellends with no common sense, enjoy 😂
0:30 White smoke, we have a new pope 😂
😂😂😂
583 videos later, I would say the answer is no, they will never learn.
My labrador is far more intelligent! 😊

Great video loved it! Thanks Ben for standing in the rain and cold to make this video. Amazing how many made it to the other side this time!

We all live in the four wheel submarine! 🎶
the ring sticker on the first one 😂
Wrongly spelt....
In his case its 'Wring'
It can be surprising which vehicles make it out and which ones don't.

Literally the first car in the vid failing is a Kia… 😂
Without snorkel??? Don"t try it!
It"s really easy!
Awesome video Ben. Lots of hard work filming it in freezing conditions ! Brilliant as always!👋
Because @BenGregers does this weekly, he is hardened by the weather conditions.
The reverse though 😂
BMW.....The ultimate diving machine😅
These idiots who wreck their expensive car in this way are going to get a hell of a shock when they renew their insurance.
BMW= Bring My Waders 😮
It’s quite a skill to get the speed just right so the water level is just at the same level as the air intake all the time but these heroes manage it
Ahhh the cabbages are back on screen !!!🤣
1:20 ...Cette personne qui a cru être un génie 😂 définitivement NON
They must have a screw loose. Absolutely crazy.
“ oh well “ 😂😂😂
What a plum. Thought he was smart by going in reverse. 😂
that yellow kia was a strong start of the video
Sharon putting in the work again I see
The way the old woman picked up the dog 😂

Efficiently turning ICE into steam! 😂😂 For our viewing pleasure.
That Audi RS...
1:28 that extraction method has left the innards behind in the chassis 😮
At 00:02, let’s chant all together: we all live in a yellow submarine…

Someone explain the white bmw x1 how did it make it
Low air intake and muppet behind the wheel
These people prefer to wreck their car, instead of driving e few mile detour. 😢😢
is that the secret vault just before 2 mins in the VW 😂
Air filter: I'm Ok
AUDI Vorsprung DUCK technique
that poor dog 😟

Is the stuck Mini at 03:55 a repeat offender? The plate seems familiar
@1m15s...breeding is not for everyone......There is that.....
I'm sorry, but that lady at the end pulling her Yorkie up like that from the lead is disgusting. That's one way of causing neck/windpipe damage 😡
Not really, the dog was wearing a harness, not a collar.
Nurburgring sticker lmao
These are the people that should be made to ride in self driving cars
Insane 😅
More money than sense? Unbelievable stupidity.
I can see how this happens. The air and water inlets look very similar.

If water enters the engine it's game over

If the first car had just driven slowly, no problem. And what’s with the guy using his exhaust as a scoop by driving too fast in reverse?
If you look carefully you can almost see the exact moment they turn into a steam engine
That first and second clip
That was fine.

why has someone put a nurburgring sticker on a kia rio
Well you can drive anything you like around the ring, so shoild they have done so, why not ?
Should have gone to Specsavers.

Took balls to takevthe RS Audi through the flood
Have you seen any electric cars fail?
Has the UK ever considered building bridges though
No we need this content
Do you build bridges where it only floods once or twice a year?
When are people going to learn that the insurance us going to pay out for them driving into flood water
They must be learning from watching fail videos
Rs6 ❤
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As soon as they know they will be on TH-cam they lose all common sense
😂

I wonder if they get a better insurance payout than px price for a newer car!
Just a question, is the Rufford ford closed forever? Or do we have a chance for a revival?
