Xander, the quote, "He who does not look back to where he came from will not know where he is going," implies that someone who is cut off from their past may find it difficult to find meaning or purpose in life. Not sure why that quote jumped out at me, but it seemed to fit! Love your videos man, and thank you for putting yourself out there and making them!

Another great vid mate. What a stunning place for a paddle. You sure are lucky to have so many good places to take the canoe. I fully resonated with you wanting to pull the pin on a trip. Same thing nearly happened to me over the weekend. I wasn’t in a good headspace and didn’t wanna film a trip, but persevered knowing that I would enjoy it, and sure enough, it was one of my favourite recent trips. Funny how it goes that way. A childhood friend's grandparents purchased a 2-acre island in McGregor Bay not so far from this in the 1920s. Spectacular area.
I visited the spookily cobalt blue Lake Nelly from there, which you visited once, too, Xander.
Georgian Bay region is spectacular.

Beautiful drone work. It's really something to see you from above, a speck in that beautiful vastness. Those metal loops anchored into the stone though, curious to know what that was all about. Another epic adventure. Already looking forward to the next one...
Georgian Bay is very popular with boaters and canoeist/kayakers. Many of the islands have campsites with tie off points for boats and that’s what those metal rings were. Some areas seem quite wild while others have countless cottages dotting the shore line and many boat access only cottages on islands, especially in the south eastern part of the bay. There are also multiple parks and provincial parks on the bay, places like Killarney Provincial Park, Massasagua Provincial Park, Killbear Park, and several nature reserves. At the very top of the bay is Manitoulin Island, the worlds largest freshwater island.
