I'm wondering where you put the litter boxes though. When we had two cats, a pet shrink told me that ideally I needed three boxes. That was a 'no way' so we managed with two.
@@Fair-to-Middling I have one litter box in the entryway between the mirrored wardrobe and my bedroom. I empty it several times a day and my cats also have the option to go outside.
I love the addition of art in the bedroom; particularly since it was painted by your uncle. The last two years have taught me many life lessons and one is the importance of having an outdoor space. Your patio is the perfect size for a city space. Wonderful video. Thank you.

Benita, I've always loved your apartment, but one of my favorite things about yours, and others I've seen, are the deep windowsills. Wonderful for plants and lighting! You don't see that here in The States.
I love those window ledges. My mother had wide window sills and large windows with southern exposure that she loved filling with her many plants. My home was built in the 70’s and as we renovated over the years I have installed wider window sills because I love their practical space for small decor and plants. For many years my windows felt bare and lonely without being able to use them like this. Also we have always had cats in our house and they love the easy window perch they have now.
You have such a lovely and inviting home. I like the walk-in closet. My daily uniform also includes gray T-shirts. I really like the vintage chairs in the livingroom area. Very cool. The patio seems large and relaxing. Your choice of music is excellent. I really enjoyed the apartment tour!!

Love the home... so beautiful, simple, and elegant. Wish I could find something like your daybed here in the states (that doesn't cost over $1500). As a person who shares the home with a dog, I notice all you have done to make your cats more comfortable in the home. My home is set up around my health (allergies, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc) and my dog. My dog has a "spot" (bed) in the living room, dining room, and my bedroom. Plus he will lay anywhere else he choices.
I also noticed how Bonus and Mini have special spots all over the house 😍. My cat has several spots, mostly next to heaters and in sunny spots around our apartment, he is currently sleeping at the foot of my bed while I type this 🐱🐱🐱😍😍😍😍

Beautiful!! Since downsizing with my husband to an urban condo from an oversized house with an neverending yard, we haven't looked back!! Living in a clean, uncluttered, calm home we couldn't imagine living anyway else now. Our home now is just the right size not too large but not cramped. I've always told my husband that if we ever split, it won't be because of some fantasy of mine about another man, it will be because my longstanding fantasy of a one bedroom apartment and a plastic plant finally won me over. I need to amend that to be a one bedroom apartment and some real plants (and a gorgeous collection of Alvar Aalto furniture)...

@@uexcited I picked it for a few reasons. I like that there's no hole at the top, that the shade is glass and not plastic and that it's the heaviest one. The weight is important to me because my cats walk on the windowsills and they can't as easily whisk it down. It's a nice feature that I can take it outside too but I've never done that.

I've always told my husband that if we ever split, it won't be because of some fantasy of mine about another man, it will be because my longstanding fantasy of a one bedroom apartment and a plastic plant finally won me over. I need to amend that to be a one bedroom apartment and some real plants (and a gorgeous collection of Alvar Aalto furniture)...

@@BenitaLarsson I'm about to order same Santa & Cold lamp that you have. The cordless version is about 100 EUR more. Would you say it's worth paying extra for it? I mean why did you pick it, is it for better visual effect?
@@uexcited I picked it for a few reasons. I like that there's no hole at the top, that the shade is glass and not plastic and that it's the heaviest one. The weight is important to me because my cats walk on the windowsills and they can't as easily whisk it down. It's a nice feature that I can take it outside too but I've never done that.
