Would it be possible to solder leads and inject the correct voltages to various points on this circuit to bypass the broken PM IC? I haven't the equipment or experience the replace the IC, but I could definitely solder leads and supply voltage. Thanks!
@@ZeroalphaAu I'll check your site thank you. Was hoping to track down the pre-balled ones you found, will order what I can find and see what I end up with.
injecting very small amount of current on to the shorted rail and using a thermal camera like flir which can be connected to a phone and see which component is heating up it will make your job easy
tell me that you're just bunch of trashtalker who don't know anything about microelectronics repairing without telling me that you're just bunch of trashtalker who don't know anything about microelectronics repairing
@@king_james_official They're not that expensive, around 300$ for a infiray usbc camera with macro lens. But its useless if you don't know electronics. You need to know where to inject and what to look for, if you buy one thinking its a magic bullet you'll be wasting money to watch random components heat up.
yeah average low quality pricey ass sandisk ssd quality be like :

terrible. why would manufacturer aim at encrypting data without buyers knowing. if that IC ever fails data is 100% unrecoverable.
Bloodyhell mate nice work!!!

Where did you order the spare chips from? Struggling to find them.
I might have published the part number in the description or on my webpage. You should be able to find it that way
