That's why you should always play these games with a guide, just so you don't miss anything important. I don't know I would have missed extra scenes and dialogue without it.

So the Grandmaster called Sharon, Sharon, instead of Krueger. Anybody noticed that ?
I only found this because I loaded the wrong save. How fitting the cutscenes showing the grandmaster is extremely convoluted
Personally I think the grandmaster ribs Aidios, or more realistically what’s left of her, and everything is her making sure the planet still stands
The way to see this ending is really stupid. But not as bad as having to beat cold steel 2 NG+ just to see an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CUT SCENE about the black records
I very strongly believe that Marcel Nielsen is the First Anguis and that he's also from the Beyond or at the very least knows about it. I got this dialogue when I talked to him at Barney's Tavern in Leeves in the final act
"It seems like each camp is finally in operation. There's Mille Mirage which aims to counter the apocalyptic Operation Jormungandr, and the ever hopeful Operation Shining-Steel. And it looks like everyone involved has their own circumstances to deal with. I'll be an observer for it all--how this war ends, and what fate lies in store for the people of this world."
What really stood out to me was "what fate lies in store for the people of this world" why would another normal human phrase it like "this world", as if there are other worlds that he knows about?
Also their voice actors sound very similar.

Yeah something definitely seems suspicious about him, Nielsen being blind could also mean he has more knowledge then other people do.
I noticed this too when i talked to him in Leeves. Him referring to "this world" really leaves an impression. Definetly suspicous.

I say your theroy holds water also for the voices in Cold Steel 4 both Marcel and the First Anguis are voice by Ian Sinclair
I think it's pretty much 99% confirmed at this point that Nielsen is the First Anguis. Same voice actors in both Japanese and English....yeah that's not just some coincidence lol.

Holy shit! Why did I miss this scene? I've played the secret ending and whatched the ending sequence...!
You can get it by loading your save file (not clear file) after getting the true ending. If you didn't save after Ishmelga Loge you'll have to fight it again. Not sure why Falcom made it this way.
@@Timodus I just finished and got the true ending a few days ago. So, to watch this, I have to reload the save date that was optioned AFTER beating Ishmelga, but NOT the clear data? That's incredibly convoluted, like who would think to even do so? O.o
@@jagster7985 I did when I missed a scan on the Ishmelga fight. Glad I did it.
@@jagster7985 Eh, it's better than having to replay the entire game as well as collecting a bunch of missable items (CS2 scene with Thomas).
So in the end this scene leaves me with more doubts and questions than answers...well that's why I love Falcom.. can't wait for the crossbell duology and the final Arc.A shame that trails in the sky Fc is no longer purchasable in italy
Calvard and the Kuro Trilogy will not be the final arc. Their will be atleast one or two more arcs after.
@@LoboEye yeah, in fact, Trails in the Dark is the midway point in the Trails saga, confirmed by Falcom. Even then, that's only happening in Western Zemuria. Eastern part of the continent is still a mystery and don't get me started on the surrounding islands near the continent as well. One of those islands could be a start of a brand new game lol.
And here comes the Trails of the Beginning era
TH-cam dubs it as Trails of Creation, funnily enough. Which would make sense, given what I saw during my playthrough

100% Agree. I just finished the game recently WITH the true ending, but this ending never showed-up. In fact, it was all thanks to my curiously about the "Grandmaster's" true identity that led me to this video where I was shocked to find out that they hid such important cutscene even after getting the true ending. Really stupid decision on their part.
You literally just need to reload the last save of the final boss to get it after beating it once. It's not forcing you to replay the whole game again to see it lol

@@andrewfennewald9465 it forces you to make a save somewhere towards the end. So, most people would assume it's a special save and load it. especially knowing that you get sad ending like that so you'd hope for a happy one if you try

I was going to criticize them in my game review for not "addressing" the Ouroboros stuff at the end, only to find out that they hid this ending.
What were they thinking man? This is such an important scene to set the stage for what's to come next......

@@Timodus I appreciate the help! still have a hard time finding it another website had the song name but it was totally different song to it, so I was starting to feel a little suspicious if that was actually the name or not, or if maybe it went by a different name which is why I had a hard time finding it on TH-cam and google. iTunes managed to help though so thanks. I googled it. I got the answer. just view true ending twice will trigger the bonus scene.

@@WestProZ17 Arianrhod. I agree it sounds like Cherami Leigh, but not like it matters since Kondo specified they changed the Grandmaster's VA every time she appears just so it's impossible to identify her.

@@WestProZ17 I personally think it's Creha from Nayuta. Creha was a godlike being that could create worlds and created Nayuta's world. Creha is Aidios and Aidios is the Grandmaster. Why the GM is against the church and the Gralsritter is the piece of the puzzle I haven't figured out yet though.
currently there are two games of falcom that I really want to see a remake.
you might consider a modern graphic 3d remake of Liberl arc Sky 1 and 2 only. I really wanted to see liberl view in 3d in the modern graphic this day just like cold steel 3 or above. I'm so far I was able to see crossbell but we need liberl. and the other game is Ys I and II remake. what I really want is to see Reah and Feena in 3d modern graphic just like ys 8 or above. sadly knowing falcom and other stuff. I don't think they'll do it or I don't think they can be afford to have a remake.
I mean Ys 1 is a short game I heard, so making a remake of it would not take many resources

- change topic: I don't want to play sky trails on pc because it's psp port. can't get use to its old system with no voice. I do have a ps vita include english mod and it's just too small screen to be played on long gameplay. if only they bring vita port to pc. pc does have vita version mod apply over but it's not working.
@@allenofblacksteel9169 the sky evo mod for pc is pretty easy to apply, just dragging and dropping the files I think (I never did it because I like playing with no voices XD)
if Sky Ports happen, they'll be like the recent zero and azure ones so they will contain japanese voice acting at the very least...
Really we hope we can play from the perspective of ouroboros, maybe we can play as cedric?
My theory is that either the main guy or the redhead in the next game are going to turn out to be Ouroboros members at the end, and the girl (Agnes?) is going to be the actual main protagonist of the Calvard arc.

An Ouroboros arc would be so cool. We know so little about them so to be able to work with them would be nice. Especially since their plans aren’t always necessarily evil.

That's right. Save after Ishmelga Loge and load that save after the true ending.
basically load your save from the "epilogue". where rean narrates the entire ending, so watch through it all again and after the credits roll, this scene will show up

Someone from the church ( for the "church music" yah appears when she showed up) maybe Ein, or someone related to her.
And my favourite one ( because of the crazy world connection that it implies) is the theory that said the GM is Creha ordin from Nayuta no Kiseki ( another of falcom's game ) this girl Creha could be a younger version of the GM, also in that game exist a certain character with the name "Hershel" just like towa, and some similarities in their arts, it could be just a reference, but I found it very interesting if they connect both games, expanding the lore to a "multiversal" level

But then I have another observation, if that was the reason ( haha it reminds me o the DARk series in netflix where the notebook ) for ouroboros to make their move on crossbell. .....
How did they know that part of the black records need their participation???? I mean, with the short ( and ambiguous) those lines are, why they decided they need to "target" crossbell , and ( for example) they didn't do anything in the part where the records mention the salt pale ?
So basically sometimes they are just confident that the things written in the black records will occur anyway, and with some other parts , they thought it's needed their appearance.

How do you get secret ending
Get the true ending and load a save file you made before the final boss or after it. You can skip the true ending cutscenes to reach it.

Maybe in power level, but at least they remain as an interesting faction that pulls the strings in a lot of the mayor conflicts in the continent, and when they don't, at least they are there participating in some way or another

Ouroboros has always been an organization based on observation. Even in Crossbell. Weissman was a special case that acted irregular in Sky, but they didn't even care when the false Sept-Terrion of Mirage lost her power because they were never there to claim the Sept-Terrion in the first place. Just to observe how the Sept-Terrions would act after being influenced by man. They were never meant to be the main villains they just got involved due to personal connections to past members ala Joshua, Renne or Loewe.
I really don't get why people act like they're a joke now when the organization never changed how it behaves and they've always been a chaotic neutral, especially due to how much freedom they give their Enforcers and Anguis.
@@CtheIronblooded If they were just "based on observation", they wouldn't have an army of jaegers under their belt. Or tons of archaisms. Or a giant airship that's more high tech than any other in Zemuria (despite being older than all Arseille-class ships). They also wouldn't start shit in Arteria, which they've apparently been doing during the events of CS3 and CS4.
I wouldn't say that they are a joke, but more so we've had 9 games and still don't know much about them. It doesn't help that a majority of their ranks who we've met have basically all checked out. The organization is interesting, but I think they need to be expanded upon a bit more than what we've been given.
And they leave another cliffhanger ending as falcom tradition, this is why they will never surpass square enix

You clearly don't know what the word "cliffhanger" means. Cliffhangers are like the ending of Sky FC, Cold Steel I or Cold Steel III. This is just a way to hook the player so they're excited for the next installment of the series and so they know things are far from over.
