Trails from Zero does a great job at exploring their humble beginnings and showing their growth along the way, as they learn to trust and rely on each other to move on (or, to use Lloyd's expression, "to overcome each barrier").
Tetsuya Kakihara is good at those voice cracks. His role as Natsu from Fairy Tail being a prime example. I watched some clips of the Japanse dub of Avatar, the Last Airbender, and he should've been the Japanese dub for Sokka, since he does sound like a Japanese Jack DeSana with his voice cracks.

Fact of the matter is it took 12 years for them to localize this game (despite its relevance to events in cold steel 2-4 and reverie. Hell the ONLY reason it was finally localized was because Geofront had made the very good fan localization patch and NISA worked with them to release an official version after working over the script of Kai. It also doesnt help that these games ARE HUGE the amount of dubbed lines they would need to would be a lot. A dub would have involved more work and money and likely delayed the game even more which would also ruin their planned release timelines, which were already pretty late considering they announced the crossbell games and reverie localization 2 years ago. It's all about money and release schedules, because Reverie has a dub, the ship just sailed for crossbell already, if they re-released the sky games today they would only go as far as touching up the localization and existing dub voicing or adding the japanese voice tracks from evo, but they wouldnt add a proper dub.
Simply not starting these games in dubbed is the key to not wanting them dubbed, you'll have to wait years eventually instead of playing English patched Japanese versions and if you do play those, you won't be used to the voices. lol

It only has Japanese voice acting in the main story cutscenes, but I quickly got used to it, because the voice actors really suit the characters they depict, which is especially true of the SSS.
@@manutdfan231 Sky on Steam are not the Evolution versions just the standard PC release. Zero and Azure are ports of the Vita Evolution games not the original PSP ones. All Evo games have voice acting and in the case of Sky new portraits as well. So everything from Zero on will have voices on steam. Or you can do what he said and mod them in pretty easily.
