Only some of the S9 accessories work with the S9 FE. The FE is the same width, but has more depth. So it fits the book cover keyboard, and other magnetic accessories, but not all cases. Buy some accessories here, howl.me/ckAxcSDKE9D and that's a great way to support me.
Sorry but how can it fit the fe one if its 10.9 inch and the s9 is 11. ;(
It does not. I bought S9 cover for S9fe model & it was tight as s9 has a width of 5.9 mm and S9fe has a width of 6.5mm. I experienced ghost touches because of this. My display would turn of randomly 3-4 times in a day so I had to return it. Without it no issues at all.
But some of your comments are suggesting the FE doesnt fit? So whats the verdict?
@@GlamLab-ut2tl I experienced ghost touches after i used s9 cover for my s9fetab. It was tight because the width of s9 is 5.9mm and of s9fe it is 6.5mm
Rest the length and height are same of both the tablets
My screen would go black 3-4 times a day while using and i had to wait for 1-2 mins to turn it back on . At first i thought i had issue with my tablet but then i discovered it was because of the cover.
I cannot say if this will happen with others also but as soon as i removed the cover everything was fine
@@GlamLab-ut2tl Well, I was a bit misinformed! Apparently the book cover keyboards fit, because they are the same width and attach magnetically, but the devices themselves are a little bit heftier, the fe models, so cases will be too tight, UNLESS they magnetize to the back like the book cover keyboard. It was easy to be mistaken here because the book cover keyboards work. And they are so close in size, sorry I missed this, and I corrected it in the comments. even if it is a little late. Not something I noticed for awhile! And didn't get many comments like this. These comments came in the middle of a move! So sorry!
The outdoor cover has surprisingly been great. That handle kick stand got me swinging my 1k tablet like a toy 😂 and it's so sturdy!

I don't think Samsung Book Cover is suitable for writing, right? It doesn't have like 30 degrees like spigen does. I'd like the outdoor one but Samsung doesn't sell it in Turkey yet. As a student, i guess i have to choose spigen here.
I love the smartbook case, wish it came in white but the deal was only for black sadly 😥 but if the Samsung comes out w with a lavender color I am so getting it!

Thanks so much. Just bought a Samsung S9FE plus tablet to replace my laptop but I am having trouble now finding appropriate keyboard and mouse. I would like them to be ergonomic, full size, and completely detachable from the tablet screen itself. I tried plugging in my wired logitech ones and my also wireless (not Bluetooth) Logitech which have a nano USB - A. Neither of these things were detectable on my tablet upon connection. Is the problem that I need a Bluetooth one or is it perhaps that there is some special setting in my tablet to make them detectable? I’ve watched lots of videos where people seem to be able to connect both types of these things by using a hub which I have done using a couple different hubs! however, they were using other Samsung tablets, not exactly the S9FE plus.

@@nhlanhlazikalala3478 yes, for me, it works when I use any Bluetooth mouse or Bluetooth keyboard. I cannot use my old Logitech with nano USB though. I had to buy new ones.

Are there any Keyboards that support Str + Backspace or a similar shortcut to delete an entire Word? I was at a Store trying out the S9 Ultra (OneUi 5.x) with the Samsung Book detachable Keyboard and I couldn't manage to find a shortcut to delete an entire word. Do other Bluetooth Keyboards support that or is it just a setting in Android/OneUI? Thx in advance!
That I'm not sure to be honest. Keyboard shortcuts are set up in the settings, and you either have Samsung keyboards, or Bluetooth keyboards, and outside of those 2 devices you won't find any other settings. I don't see anything like that in the keyboard shortcuts though, sorry
is the writing experience good with samsung smart book cover installed??? I mean do we get any height/angle adjustment when keeping the tablet in flat lying position???
The Book Cover Keyboard you do get adjustments, not the slim keyboard cover I reviewed the keyboard cover separately. The adjustment on the book cover keyboard is with the kickstand on the back, not on the keyboard itself, which is flat.
I think we are on different page, I am speaking of the back over covered in this video from 3:35 to 6:57 and while keeping my tablet in a flat lying position I need a 30 degree mount for reference please see 9:58 to help me write, is that poss with Samsung smart book cover ?? Please do reply
Im using a Microsoft folding keyboard and when using space in word i have to double tap for a space. Does the samsung keyboard require a double tap for space in word aswell as i have been looking at getting that one.
I wouldn't expect it to need a double tap to space. If it does, there may be some type of weird setting

Yes, and sorry for the late response. Basically, different sd cards have different read and write speeds. How fast the device can read it to use the information, and how fast it can send file from this sd card to something else. Honestly, I don't think you will notice any substantial difference. A Samsung micro SD card, or a Sandisk, either of those will work just fine.
Im curious, do the Tab S9 FE Cases fit the similarly sized Tab A8?
No. They have different cameras on the back. And they are still different sizes. Different button placement
I have a particular question. I have the A9,+. But am looking at the S9 base model.. would my present case fit, as they're both 11 inches?
I don't have any cases to test right now, I plan to test out the book cover keyboard soon. But for now, I have to say no, I don't think they will fit. For example, the S9 FE model is the exact same size as far as the width, but it won't fit S9 cases because it's deeper. There are just enough minor adjustments, and with my experience with the A9+ I expect it's the same.
Can you 180/360 rotate the keyboard cover, to use as normal tablet

Hi, regarding the MX Keys S, I heard from someone that it doesn't not stay installed on the s9 ultra. He said that everytime he needs to use the keyboard with the s9 ultra, he has to reinstall the keyboard. He said its because the app is not compatible with android (l'm assuming he's talking about the Logitech Options+ app). I understand that you are using the keyboard with ur s9, but are you facing any similar issues?
So I just have the MX keys mini, and I did also try the regular MX keys, but I haven't had any problems with those devices. I technically don't have the s model, but it has stayed connected for me. No problem.
Also, return policies are your friend. In the case of something like this, if you really want to try it, just buy it and return it. If it doesn't work. Plus you could always report back and share your findings
Any idea how I can use my earphones as there does not appear to be an earphone jackpoint.

I can't think of anything. Good luck though!
Just take care of it, you don't have to keep it wrapped in cotton wool.
When you're indoors, keep it on flat clean surfaces, if you pack it into a bag maybe buy a cheap laptop sleeve to put it in, and keep it separate to other items.

Not sure what you mean. Some cases cover the s-pen and some don't. I tried to go over some s-pen protection in the video and what protects it and what doesn't.

You forgot the most essential item. Does the cover fold back to hold the tablet and read?
Yeah I could have talked about that. Pretty sure it does. But to be honest, I also think that's sort of pointless. You're bending back the keyboard near the pins. I'd much rather just disconnect it. The book cover keyboard is detachable after all. So if you don't want to use the keyboard, why bend it back? Why not just detach and attach when you're done? It's less wear and tear on the keyboard and it has the same exact function. And it takes like the same amount of time
@@AndroidDigest Waiting for airplanes, trains, waiting at appointments..... more than half the time I use my tablet, I am not at a desk. I do not want to have two devices to carry, a tablet and a case. That is the point of a tablet. A lightweight single device to use.

You know that I am old and always use the Tab on my knees. It has to be Stable.
I am currently trying the Dexnor keyboard. I'm trying it for the Tab S9 Plus but they have one for the S9, and it's much better in my opinion than the regular book cover keyboard, and it has backlit keys, and it would be more stable on your lap. Go with the BRAEN. It's like an OTTER BOX DEFENDER on STEROIDS! Lol. Has handstrap and rotating disc, and a kickstand and pen compartment all built in. Rubber is SO THICK. Drop proof to 1 meter on concrete!
