Heresy simply means "wrong teaching". We tend to call people heterodox as being a heretic would also imply people choosing wrong teaching. Most people don't choose.

@@s.2196 It's usually just used as a pejorative so I understand that. Still, there are insanely large differences between Orthodoxy and Christian denominations to where on some level it's just something completely different going by the same name.
If you actually look into the underlying philosophy of different denominations and take them to their logical conclusions you actually realize they don't have much to do with Orthodoxy, so even by your standard of the word I'd say it still applies. Penal substitution alone is one such thing.

Just wanted to share: I went to the first confession of my life last week, largely because of the times Father Spyridon has said "rush to confession" in his previous videos.
Immediately felt a deep peace come over me. But also, I yawn less, either only once or not at all, during prayer now (and before it was a lot), on Sunday I was able to focus *much* better on the service and I'm able to derail prideful and violent thoughts much easier when they arise than before. I second the other commenter, talk to your priest or any Orthodox priest, if possible make confession the mystery can really help with these types of temptations and there are special prayers the priest can use in addition to the normal confession prayers in this situation. A good spiritual father will also help you over time to find what is letting the thoughts in to cut them off at their source.
It is good though to seek medical support too, to establish things while the source of the problem is found, it might be a sin, a mental health problem, a specific demonic attack or the result of a physical abnormality (this last one is more common in women as our hormones can be problematic in some situations).
Once the immediate crises is over also try to send some time at an orthodox monastery the brethren in such communities are used to dealing with these challenges and sometimes just spending time in that sort of quiet stillness with God can be more helpful than much expensive medication.
Also, a final thought ask St Paisios for help his life is replete with miracles in this area.

Actually........that is a very good question.
I suggest you read the first few chapters of Acts of the Apostles. Look at Peter's words in his first sermon, read what the people asked of Peter, see how the Holy Spirit convicted them. Read about Ananias and Sapphira in Acts5 and what happened to them.
Put your faith in and seek God's salvation, THEN go and find a church.

We worship Jesus Christ, not the Church.
Becoming a member of Holy Orthodox Church and embracing Lord's teachings is essential if you want to worship Him properly, though.

Faith in Christ is the ONLY path to eternal life. Keeping his commands is good but that only comes by His spirit being in you and through the realization that nothing you do makes a difference. He did the works for us. Believe on Him. That is the will of the father. We will get to heaven because of Christ. Not because of what we did.

Many things can lead to this - irregular prayer, not attending church and receiving Holy Communion, not confessing regularly, or simply giving in to temptations without struggle and then not repenting.
The obvious remedy is to pray, confess, repent and receive Holy Communion.
But you can only do these things if you are part of God’s Church.
Recognise your failings and turn back to Him - He will not abandon you. God bless you.

To gain access to 3D and below, you as the 4D construct of soul must sacrifice yourself and all above you in order to attain godhood down here.
To gain access to yourself as the 4D construct of soul and all above you, you must sacrifice the 3D and below. No more 2D media that influences you in the wrong direction, more spiritual works must be ingested if you still wish to partake in 2D media. You must let go of 3D desires like lust and greed, learn how lovemaking is meant to celebrate life and how money is a physical representation of energy expended over a given amount of time instead.
It's a trade off, 3D and below in exchange for the sacrifice of all up above, or 4D and above in exchange for the sacrifice of all down below

@@tonyelbows8045 if you guys think this is new age then you are more behind the times than you think. This is ancient knowledge that I haven’t seen anyone talk about due to the Tower of Babel. It doesn’t help that everyone thinks they can be right without realizing just how they’re all right. They’re all giving in to lesser gods, that’s the new age right there.
But my knowledge is founded in Jesus Christ. I will deny all lesser gods and proclaim his name on high for teaching me these things while those of this world only taught me things in an attempt to tether me to this world.
Like “manifestation” as an example, I came to it long before anyone else did, but I call it resonance since I’m using the construct of time to resonate myself into moments where what I desire exists. They think they’re doing all the work and so they call it manifestation, I understand I am doing nothing but perceiving and relinquish control for the most control.
New age is service to the self, they want power and so they convince themselves they have power. What I’m about is service to others, showing everyone how powerless they are so they can start from square one and understand where their power truly comes from.
But it is what it is, call me what you want, I have some people claim I’m part of a cult in which case that would make me the cult leader in which case I say to fuck off and decide for yourself because I have my own soul to worry about. You have your own soul and it’s on you what you decide to do as the construct of soul. Why fight you? That tells the universe that I am not grounded in my experience and it will just give me more fights to experience.
May as well live and let live so we can resonate into our desired realities of choice without risk of tethering ourselves to the experience another has chosen for themselves. I don’t deny the possibility I could be wrong, that’s why I want others to make their choices. Because if I’m wrong, at least others made the right choice and I didn’t actively try to drag them down, just gave them an out if they so desired it.
