My dad is inspirational! So happy to see so many people are loving this video. To see my dad go from before to how he is now is just amazing. & to the haters.. jealousy springs to mind! 😁
How long has he been on carnivore? Maybe help him start a TH-cam channel? I am very inspired! I’ve been keto for 7 years. I am going to try carnivore for 3-6 months.
He is giving you the biggest gift-being in your life for much longer! I’m 54 and this is my “why!” I want not only to meet my grandchildren, but for them to know and remember me!
"Eat like its your job" :-) make sure you get to 2.5 lbs of ribeye equivalent. Most of your calories from fat so no lean meat! Mostly beef, goat or lamb. Drink CLEAN water ( get a good filtration system ). Eggs and cheese can be introduced later if you tolerate them. Takes 90 days for complete induction. Good luck!!
@@Halakah7 TH-cam deleted my comment.....i didn't use books. Found carnivore groups online. :-) I would put them here, but I'm guessing they don't want me to.
My wife and I sat up and talked the other night about carnivore etc until 1am. She's seen my remarkable results in almost 6 months. I wasn't trying to get her to try it but she said listening to me talk so passionately about it convinced her it's time for her to try it for 30 days. She told me she's starting Monday. I can't tell you how happy I am because her health is poor at the moment. She has many of the same problems I did. I can't wait to see the change!
Wishing you wife all the best...this will be life changing for her. ☘💪 PLEASE make sure you talk about the bowl issues that she will most like have the first two weeks. Make sure if she feels gas to go sit on the toilet. also let her know that she will get carnivore flu too and she will need to take electrolytes magnesium & potassium (before bed magnesium promotes sleep) both are to prevent carniovre/keto leg cramps that come on at night and then drinking salt water during the day. Magnesium/potassium/salt = electrolytes or you can buy electrolytes powders to put in water. see Dr Berg's vids on electrolytes and their importants and also Dr Eckberg, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Bos, Dr Mindy pelz. Not sure if Shawn Baker MD podcast yt ch has info on this or not. Guide your wife now. Many find it easier to tranistion from SAD diet to keto diet then take one meal a day and make it full carnivore then two meals then all meals = many do not get bowl problems or canivore flu.
That's awesome man!❤ That's the whole point u knw. For ppl to see the transformation in you and be convinced to give this WOE a try not because you told them verbally but because they've seen it with their own eyes.
@@jansmith3158 Most definitely! I already bought 4 packs of LMNT and have it on hand. I've also discussed the possible bowel issues and she got to see first hand what happened with me during my transition time.😲 Since I started eating only meat I have just started cooking dinner every day so her meat intake has been on the rise slowly for the last few months. I increased my meat intake over several weeks before I went to all meat and I think that helped lessen the side effects of the bacteria die off etc. I told her I will be there for her all the way and that I can help her figure out all of the issues she may encounter. Thanks for the advice! 👍
I am finally getting comments, where people are noticing that I am loosing the weight. I lost my fist 140-150lbs very slowly over 4 half years, doing keto. Now 5 months on mostly carnivore I have am down 192 lbs, and I feel about 10 times better than I did on keto. I am no 100% pure carnivore, but I am close. 16 years of diabetes, 300+ units of insulin per day gone. Extremely high BP in the 250-280;s on 5 bp medications, gone. Bad knee, gone. Macular Degeneration and going blind, stopped. Torn rotator cuff, healed. I now work like crazy. I am a network engineer for my 8-5 and I fix cars and residential central AC units during the evenings and weekends. I take 4-5 mile walks in the mornings now. I do still smoke but I smoke much less than I used to, and I plan to give it up soon.
@samfurman8432, Do you mind elaborating on your overall health, i.e. joint pain, heart or other conditions and how do you feel overall at your ripe age of 83?
I have a hard time sleeping. I bike two or more miles each day. I still have a few brain cells so I play the stock market each day. My BP will go up under stress. I have had my gallbladder removed runs in the family. I developed Atrial fibrillation after taking the Coves shot had that fixed. Small things are a plus no plaque on teeth, skin young looking. Nurses told my son I have a young body for my age. I am now 84 1/2 out living my father by 10 Yrs.
I know Al. Super proud of him. His wife Michelle is my make up artist & friend. Everytime I go round Al is there and so friendly & welcoming. He’s told me all about the carnivore diet and oh my word he looks so well. 10 years younger at least. Watching with my husband right now 🙌❤️ The most genuine guy you will ever meet. Inspired . 🙌
Wow Gill! I'm blushing! So glad you have watched this important message me and Kerry AND so many others want to reach out to many who are looking for a solution to many issues x
I will be 65 in 1 week, started keto about 5 months ago, went strictly carnivore 3 months ago, went from 230 to 177 lbs blood pressure down from 150/91 to 120/80, no more itchy skin,my inflammation in my knees is gone after 20 years, plus I look 20 years younger... thanks guys
Very inspiring. I started January 1, 2023 and never looked back. I'll be 75 on Monday and feel better now that I have since my 20s. I got my drivers license renewed yesterday and the gal was shocked at my age. The very oddest thing is that no 'friend' has made one comment since I told them I was on an 'elimination' diet months ago. I don't push and don't allow anyone to attempt to make me feel 'guilty' for not eating junk food. My happiness is evident to the world.
I'm a 67 year old female that went on the carnivore diet 9 months ago after having long term COVID symptoms. I lost 30 pounds, am playing pickleball and have never felt better. I've been able to stay at 115lbs. No more inflammation..I can totally relate to you. I've even rubbed off on a few people!!
Bravo! I’m 72 and been on carnivore for 3 months to reduce inflammation. I am now able to use my weed whacker, rakes, lift heavier objects, and work 4 hours before taking a break. Looking forward to all the other health benefits over the next few months. So good luck and thanks for sharing your story.
Several days ago, at 6 am, I was walking to the gym. A woman was watering her garden. She called to me. She read the article about me in the local paper. She asked me if I was 71. When I said, yes, she shook her head and said, you're really 71? Lol. He looks so young. It's a real joy listening to his testimony. Thanks to both of you, Kerry and Alex!

68 female, I went 98% carnivore 7 months ago. I kept stevia in my coffee- And though I have gotten amazing healing, still suffered with some intense inflammation. Dr. Chaffee says- stop ALL sweeteners- so I stopped stevia yesterday and even in one day can feel a bit of reduction in pain. Can't wait to see more results. Even still, I look and feel like a new person and will not go back. My hubby decided to try carnivore for 30 days- YAY!! Thanks for promoting this so passionately!!
I was just sitting g here thinking that the only things I haven’t given up is coffee and the stevia in it. I have vacation in a couple weeks and plan to start detoxing from the coffee when I get back.
I'm 56 and I feel great. People who haven't seen me in a few months at work comment how well I look. One even said I looked fab. This is all down to the carnivore diet. I've lost 70 lbs and it is great.
@@truthseeker7211 - Its around a year. I did start with Keto, but started knocking food groups off., grains first then veg. I wasn't a huge fan of veg,. So now I'm left with meat and dairy. I find this way of eating a lot more simple and satisfying.
70 lbs. Wow that is awesome, amazing, ridiculously wonderful. Thank you for sharing. Man, if I could loose 70 lbs. I would still be at 220. I'm going to keep trying. Thank you again
I have been carnivore for 2 months and I have lost 54 lbs. Off my blood pressure meds, no more nexium. I have a tumor called prolactinoma that causes my hormones to be low. One month in now, wow he is 65 unbelievable. I am feeling great. Walking 5 miles a day, some resistance training, and sticking to it, my partner thinks I am nuts, he is 71 and I am 67. I came to this for several reasons most of all was depression, I have lost 23 lbs this month, lost 3 inches off my waist, brain fog gone, not searching for words depression has lifted. I am looking forward to my first year. I take pictures of myself every Thursday so will be wonderful to see them from month one to 12, love this podcast of your your guest certainly has made an impression
Watched a video with anthony chaffe interveiwing a 82 year old woman that has been carnivore most of her life, she's a canadian rancher. She's the youngest looking 82 year old i've ever seen and still doing the manual work on the ranch. To me she looks in her late 50's or early 60's and totally mentally solid.
I remember that interview. I think her name is Maggie? A real wonder woman. I'm loving these interviews with normal, everyday people who discovered carnivore for themselves.
Im a 57 year old former NCAA All American tennis player. Last year I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. I started carnivore about a week ago. My physical and mental health has been bad especially this past year. I don’t think it’s in my head but I have lost 5 pounds BUT more importantly mentally I have actually been so much better already. I actually felt “happy” today! 😊 I have watched so many videos on carnivore all have been great but this is my favorite. Blessings to both these gentlemen. I’m truly inspired and have hope!! 💪😊❤️
My husband and I started during the pandemic. We were able to find all the beef we wanted(and it was cheaper then) and we lost 50 lbs combined within months. We've been healthier ever since.
I'm 70, red meat allergy from the Lone Star tick bite, live in Belize stuck with chicken and fish. Lost 45lbs after eliminating sugar, low carbs and quit alcohol. Was wheelchair bound from gout in May and pre T2 diabetes, still a bit light headed sometimes but sticking to omad most days and 2mad 2 or 3 times a week. Feeling much better!
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but after the 1st week of carno I started dreaming again and actually remembering them. I haven't dreamnt in many years.
My sinuses are so clear now, I’m sleeping with one pillow now instead of 2 or 3, which if I didn’t do, I would be so stuffy I couldn’t breathe! No more night tickle keeping me up. No more heartburn and burping up last meal into the next day. What an exciting journey! You guys look amazing.
Hi Alex - I wouldn't have guessed your age at 65. Love your accent. Wow, from 38 to 32 waist. But improved health is the best. ... I am 77 and have been carnivore now almost 9 weeks. I realized yesterday that I had forgotten that I used to have back pain all the time! Alex, it is so exciting to hear about the family and friends you have influenced. Carnivore For Life - a great title. I wish I had known about this 30 years ago:) I might not have had to have a mastectomy from cancer, or two knee replacements and a hip replacement, or thyroid problems, or major depression. Kerry - a great interview for sure. I can't believe I used to cut every bit of fat off my meat, and now I love it!
Wow! Great to hear and read all the comments! I went off carnivore 2 days ago for Christmas and have felt so sick. Getting back on Carnivore to improve my health. No more inflammation, depression, bloating.
Wow, Alex seems like the best most genuine dude. Kudos Alex! Your story is so similar to mine! I started carnivore April 22, 2022 at 43 years old. I was 211 lbs with a big belly, love handles, man boobs, a chubby face, etc! Today, nearly 15 months later and I’m 167 lbs and look and feel like a 20-30 year old! I have defined biceps for the first time since my teenage and early 20’s, man boobs are gone, love handles and belly gone! My face changed drastically. I went from 38” waist pants to 30”. This way of eating truly is the Proper Human Diet. Anyone who reads this and is thinking of making a change, please do not wait, do it now! My only regret is I didn’t find this sooner. Like Alex, I think people are blown away by the way I look compared to just a year ago, it’s insane! My goal now is for the first time in my life to have a six pack lol.
I am at 10 weeks of 95% carniivore, I noticed that a chronic mucus cough I have had forever has stopped. I have had two sinus surgeries since 1995 that didn't "cure" it. I rarely have to blow my nose. My sleep is awesome, wake up rested after 6 hours without alarm waking me up. No night trips to the Loo. Life is better.

I am carnivore now for 7 months. lost 43 pounds and reversed type 2 diabetes. I am med free . Foods I am eating, beef. water, eggs , butter, rabbit, and fish. some small amounts of chicken and pork. Black coffee. I have come from an A1C of 7.5 on full meds(insulin and metformin) to an A1C of 6.5 and zero meds. Loved the video.OH!! I am 66 years old.
I SO appreciate this video as I’m 64 and struggling with my health. I found Keto 4 years ago and had great success but fell off the wagon and gained all the weight back. I’ve been binge watching carnivore influencers to get motivated and jump on the wagon. You guys look so healthy and vibrant!
That's what helped me make a plan, and find the motivation to start, that was 7 months ago, I have no more pain, no Gerd, no gas and bloating, sleeping great, lost 10 pounds ( my goal was 10 pounds), alot more energy, no more anxiety, and rosacea has improved ( as long as I stay away from dairy)
Hi, I’m also a carnivore and went to achieved so much at one point, and then things relaxed 😎 and fell off. I had so many failed attempts to get back up again, but then I discovered David Goggins, and little did a knew I don’t need another motivation at all just like what Jordan Peterson did to me at one point but i need provocation instead. DG is not anything about carnivore, but he can motivate anyone by his mentality. I am back again on carnivore, just sharing.
Don’t wait. You’ll thank yourself. I was pain free by the second day, started losing tons of weight immediately, energy went up within 5 days. Many mental benefits for me as well.
Alex's comments about dreams resonated with me. I now have epic movie-length dreams, all positive. Absolutely worth it just for that. Like a whole other life while asleep. How much have I be missing out on? More than I could ever have dreamed!
I was strict carnivore for almost a year. When our garden began producing, I went to keto. I loved the vegetables. I have returned to carnivore since February because I still remember how great I felt. I'm 67 and started having knees, shoulders, and back stiffness and pain. When walking I had a knee that without warning would drop me to my knees. I knew that I had to return to carnivore. Sure enough, all that pain and weakness are gone. I lose at a slow rate (5# a month), but my body size is shrinking despite that. I knew it would because it did the last time that I was carnivore. The garden food is being harvested and I'm canning it for my husband, but I have not ate any of it. I continue to feel better and better. I feed my 16 week old dobermans carnivore, too. My husband gave one of the pups bread and he spit it out. LOL. I, too, look young for my age, but always have. Enjoyed the interview.
Love your story and life approach. I at 66, can relate with you on the garden. I started carn., four and a half yrs., ago. My family are big veg gardeners. Now that elderly parents can no longer tend the plot, I do it for them. At least the produce is clean, organic and homegrown. It makes them happy to come out and pick climbing beans and peas and putter around a bit. Gardens are almost-free emergency food and we might need some with the direction things are going. However, the one year I didn't garden was amazing. Summer freedom at last. So much time saved, planning, digging, planting, tending, weeding, harvesting, storing, winter prep, etc. So much money saved buying, seed, starter plants, tools, fertilizer inputs, bags, bottles, and cans. The biggest benefit to not growing veggies is zero heartbreak when natural conditions like drought, wind, heat, bad seed, disease, insects, animals, and thieves destroy the crop. I can sweat that now!
I am a 60 y/o female. I started 6 weeks ago. I've lost 11 pounds. I see all these people doing carnivore losing alot of weight, so I don't feel so bad when you said you lost 5# in a month. I am 5'5" and weigh 194. I was at 205. I started after a friend suggested because I have arthritis pain and weight gain. I also have asthma and psoriasis.
My 2 13 yo dogs have been carnivore for 3 years, and the 4 cats are too. Even the 13 yo cat looks great. Everyone's teeth and gums have improved significantly.
Great interview!! I started what has turned into an elimination diet Nov 7, 2022. February 1st, 2023 I went Carnivore, I have lost 95 lbs. I was size 54 waist, tomorrow Amazon is delivering size 40 ! Got off 5 meds for blood pressure and Eliquis for heart. Started strength training 2 months ago, feel like I'm 35(turned 65 last April). Enjoy your channel and wish you and your family all the best.
@@nikkivanrensburg3605 After having good results during the months of last November, December and January I stopped meds when I started full Carnivore Feb 1st, had Drs appointment end of February. Doctor was pleased with my weight loss from previous visit, when I told her I was fasting and eating only meat she ordered blood work and made a follow up appointment in 2 weeks and told me to stop fasting and to eat some vegetables. When I came back in 2 weeks, I had lost 8 more lbs, and after seeing blood work told me to keep doing what I was doing and come back in a year so she could see how much weight I lose. Goal is to lose 45 more lbs get down to size 36 pant size.
Wow! Just seeing this today and I sent this to family and friends. Many think I am a bit nuts but 6 months ago I decided to try this. At 57, nothing was helping me to have energy, lose weight and get my inflammation under control. Keto got me into oxalate troubles. I decided that the veg was just making all my aches, pains and gallbladder issues worse. So glad I went full 🥩🥓🧈🍳. At first I had the usual concerns about fiber and nutrients because we've all had that "mind cleansing" drilled into us since childhood. I once told my kids to eat their veggies....now they see Mom eating steak, eggs, ground beef/venison/bison and I never make a vegetable. My husband and kids are not really into it yet and keep the house full of the old addictive foods I once ate. But now I have no taste for the chips, cookies and junk they eat. I feel great, look great and have so much energy now. I don't want to put those poisons in my body any more. 🎉 Hoping they will come around one day and find out what true health feels like.
@@infidelcastor They may at first, but they will see how much healthier you are and perhaps they will one day join you. I’m 62 and have been eating carnivore for a couple of weeks now. I feel great. I still work full time and am a local truck driver, which means 12 hours days a lot of the time. I lift weights 2-3 days a week also. I also wish that I had known about this 20 years ago. I made the mistake of eating an avocado after not having any vegetables last week and couldn’t believe how bad it made me feel. I still have a glass of Cabernet and a bit of dark chocolate on the weekends but this diet has changed me. I’ve lost ten pounds and feel stronger than ever.
Yeah avos are poison. Incredible how bad a lot of normal foods have made me without me noticing. Good for you enjoying a cabernet and chocolate once in a while. Sardinian style carnivore.
After 4 days, I measure 53" at the start around my gut. Measured this morning 46" around my gut. Not sure if that will keep up but, I do not feel bloated. I don't have cravings. Hadn't felt like snacking either. Last night of day 3 I wasn't hungry for supper but, I ate some beef and chicken. Weight loss is following as well. However, I'm more concerned about the gut than anything. I know the weight will follow. I'm eating less then I expected, which will directly lessen the food bill as I'm not buy anything else but meat.. All the other garbage is what makes the bill so high... Instead of 120 bucks with junk, I'm at 60 buck for meats.
Very inspiring! I am a 60 year old man and I do 25k trailruns every 2 weeks. I have always looked 'younger' (it was horrible as a teenager :)) so I fully understand Alex' situation. I was a vegetarian for almost 20 years and since 1 octobre I decided to go carnivore after absorbing all the info I could find. I never had any health issues and I hope I made the right decision and can get rid of all the toxics in my body, I'm sure there are many after 60 years. I intend to keep running until I drop!
Such a FANTASTIC inrterview!! I have been obese all my life, having tried many different lifestyles of eating. This is the simpliest and most effevtive of them all. I'll be carnivore 99 days on my next birthday and I am super excited of the changes so far. I'll be 65 in 2 weeks. NO WAY do I look like the photos you put up. And I'm kayaking, swimming, biking, lifting. I am not retired, still work my 40 hours in the financial/tech industry, as well as part-time at the local YMCA as an instructor and trainer. I began low carb in 2018, started ketovore about 6 months ago.
Way back a group of overweight women were critizing me for eating meat. I told them "Lions eat meat. Hippos graze" 🤷♀️ I haven't been strictly carnivore but today I am more committed to carnivore than ever. Tks for this video.
I have been carnivore a little over a month. I am down 13 pounds and seeing all kinds of health benefits! I am so excited! It is like a miracle for me. I was someone who suffers Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, PCOS, insulin resistance, sleep issues, heart arrhythmias, etc. My issues are all clearing up!! My hormonal acne is gone; my skin looks amazing! I am going to keep on going.
Hello. Can you tell me how are you doing now, are onvcarnivore diet still. I have also pcos and acne and Im starting with it. Sooner I wen raw vegan butvit didnt help me.
I concur with Alex - back in the 60's you had "the fat kid" in a class of 30 students and today you have "the skinny kid" or the one that is height/weight appropriate. People now are enormous and a lot of it started in the 80's when everyone was giving their babies juice bottles.
Yessss! We raised our kids in the 80s, and we were fighting tooth and nail not to get swept up in the massive changes in what were recommended. Unfortunately I became convinced that being a vegetarian was the way to go. Wasted so many years on that nonsense. So wish we'd known about all this back then! Better late than never, right? 😊
I'm the "skinny friend" (even though I'm not skinny, just smaller than everyone else) and I hope I don't sound ungrateful but it's rough sometimes. People assume things about you or make lil comments, and I don't have anyone to share progress with (except y'all on the internet haha). I was born in 1979 and remember when we got our 1st microwave and VCR - and how food used to be smaller and better quality, with alot less sugar than it has now
@MotivatedSista I know exactly what you're talking about, because my sister and best friend go through that. They've been accused of having eating disorders, and told that they need to eat more, etc. People can be so intrusive and impolite.
Hi Cary and Alex. My name is Dale, and I started carnivore 9 months ago in July 2023. The short of it is I went down from 190# to 155#, feel great, lots of energy, increased mental clarity and I'm 65 years old! I'm interested in following your documentary! I always felt I ate fairly healthy, but carnivore turned on the afterburner in many areas. I have found a good groove for my nutrition and am starting to track protein and carbs (small amount from some dairy) to get a better dial on my nutrition. This rig found the best fuel ever, and I won't have a meal plan with complex carbs and processed suagars again. No more fake food!. Gimme the real deal every day! Thanks for your PoD cast!!!
He’s very inspiring! I’m about to turn 64 and after 5 years eating whole food plant based (I ate meat only occasionally) for 5 years I’ve transitioned to carnivore!
When I felt the difference carnivore life gave me, I wanted everyone to know. I keep it myself now. I let people come to me and ask me what's going on. At least we know just how crazy exciting this is! It's like I have an amazing secret! I love it! Keep up the great work!
Yes! There is something about sticking to your path and not talking about it much - it keeps your energy focused and you only end up sharing your experience with genuinely curious people. I started carnivore last month and couldn’t stop talking about it. I ended up spending so much time trying to have balanced conversations about something I was just learning about and couldn’t really defend intellectually, just anecdotally. People have been trying to feed me vegetables and throwing opinions and judgement my way under the guise of questions. It’s exhausting while I’m just trying to listen to my body and explore the array of options!
@@hannahbassett7541 that's interesting, I am so intrigued by this diet. I am reading these comments and wondering do they eat any vegetables at all? I guess my question is does this diet provide all the vitamins and minerals, as well as the protein? 😊
What a great story! Alex's story is inspiring. I'm 70 and I did low-carb, then keto, for years, and I've been doing an inconsistent semi-carnivore for almost a year now. I need to take that last step and dumping the sweet stuff (all stevia, erythritol, monk fruit; I have no sugar or flour in the house) is most of that last step. Just meat is a challenge. But the one thing that hasn't gone away with keto is arthritis. I'm a musician and my hands won't let me play what I've played for years. If I can see that improve, I'm in. Thanks for the inspiration!
What a world of difference, not just in looks. The positive attitude and positive outlook on life is so amazing. Great Job, Alex! You as well, Kerry. Been watching for a few weeks now. I am down 45lbs in 3 months and so many issues I had and how crappy I was feeling is gone or nearly gone. Feeling so much more positive and more importantly, hopeful and excited for life. I am not 100% carnivore but eat that way most often. I am more of a very tight Ketovore right now. 90-95% Carnivore. I think I got about 50lbs more to go but will see as I approach that. I took surprise people when I tell them my age and they see me. I think I looked more my age before I started a now at least 10-15 years younger than I am. Will send some before and after pics to you when I am down to my goal.
I have struggled with alcohol addiction for 25 years. To the extent that on carnivore I would have some vodka and water. After 4-5 days I noticed my desire for alcohol was less. This is only day 8 and I crave it even less. Will power had failed me (so I thought) in the past. Has anyone else noticed all cravings disappearing? This is absolutely wonderful. I feel in control for the first time in 25 years.
@@stellasternchen Most people mix alcohol with sugary drinks - vodka/orange juice - rye/coke - So yes the two can be related. Im about 2 months in and definitely have reduced alcohol cravings, although i still drink a few times a month, i used to drink every other day. Rye and coke. now its rye and water.
Well done guys! 💪🏼 I'm chasing your success. I've put my diabetic retinopathy in to remission twice. I used to have very blurry vision in the near field, unable to read things up close. But every time I go back on carnivore, within a couple of weeks, I can read again.
I'm hitting 65 in September and started Carnivore this past June 10th. Now, on July 14th, I have gone from 266 lbs to 242 as of this morning! I was always extremely fatigued, and taking statins and blood pressure meds which I've now quit, last week at a medical appointment, I was told my blood pressure was great. I've dropped from 46" pants and 3xl shirts, to 44" pants and 2xl shirts, and I'm feeling "so much better"!!! I took pics (which I hate to look at) when I first started to document my progression. I so appreciate your videos along with Doctor Berry, Chaffee, Kelly Hogan, ect..... THIS WORKS GREAT!!!!! 👍🙂👍
58 here 8yrs ketovore maintaining over 50lb fat loss this woe helps so much to control cravings and temptation. My husband is carnivore at 61 we feel so good physically, mentally, spiritually!
My husband and I are 9 days and going strong!! Your videos inspire me and keep the excitement going!! The testimonials also are quite encouraging. Thank you for all the interviews and encouragement!!
This is amazing, I started the diet just about three weeks ago, I'm 42 years old and honestly, I'm in the best shape ever, thankyou for giving this info for free, your both real hero's. I'm determined to keep going and see what I does to my body and mind.
Thank you Alex! And thanks for all the nice comments! I hope that Alex's message reaches folks like ourselves. I wish I knew about Carnivore decades ago! The Lion Roars: How the Lion Eats. A documentary on carnivore diets and the health benefits. You asked for a name... How much does inflammation weigh? Fat? Muscle? In 14 months when I plateau on the scale or go up 6 lbs, I'll notice my newest leggings fit like trousers a month later. Put my cell in my pocket at the my doctor's office and 2 steps later they down at my knees. I have had lifetime thigh inflammation since I was 4. No exercise or weight lifting made an effect on my thighs. So while I'm not in it for weight loss, I went on an allergy elimination diet and fell into carnivore with no guidance for several months. Stressing over I have to try to add veggies and fruit because how can I survive on just meat. I was vegan/vegetarian for 2 decades. I can't do higher histamine foods due to an excess of mast cells in my colon. And my vocal folds spam shut when triggered by taste, contact, smell,??? So no ground meats unless super fresh. Picanhe is my favorite, i love that fat cap. Air fryer saved my life, but i smoke fish/ beef, too. I also do sashimi. Raw salmon no rice. Some cooked fish/ seafood. Anyways, thank you both for answers. Finally. 💜🩵💚💜🩵
FYI, my closest butcher is rural on the edge of the metro area in Oregon. Picanhe is considered boneless beef ribs with a fat cap for $10.98/lb or without the fat cap for $11.98/lb. Next time I'll ask if they can collect fat cap bits for me to buy that day. It seems better than the Amish and Irish butter for my gut. I eat maybe half to 3/4 a pound steak OMAD.
Thank you Kerry. So grateful for all your support and help with me as a TH-cam novice! Hopefully our message that resonates with viewers will be the health, (mental + physical) benefits that can be gained from this nutrition change and not just about external appearances and looks. 🙏
The sleep discussion... I've tried explaining to people what my sleep is like and I've always found it difficult to put into words. Brilliantly explained.
This was a brilliant interview, Alex. I am a few months older than you, and I haven't gone the whole hog, but after watching this, I really need to. Once again that was amazing, I'm retired in Spain and find it difficult not to snack or eat the chips and bread in their restaurants. I'm addicted. Thanks Kerry for doing this. I did crack my alcohol problem 33 years ago now I need to apply the same program to this.
Actuuuuallllyyyyy. Thee original Atkins by Dr. Atkins was correct. He influenced and paved the way. His original true plan was zero carbs for two weeks then incorporate very few carbs in the form of certain plants. He is the one that deserves the credit.
You are just wonderful at putting the information out there. I watch all the doctors letting us know whTs up. I find it simple and I feel better. It will be three months the 20th of July 2023. I am 70 years old. I didn't weigh my self at first. I wanted the knee pain and left foot pain gone. I have lost weight all pain in knees are gone in foot also!
I need to start keeping a journal. You have definitely sold me on the need to do this diet. I am 55, have been in heart failure for over seven years (they don’t know why, my arteries are clear). I have fibromyalgia, C-PTSD, anxiety, total chronic fatigue, had hyperthyroidism, have arthritis, knee pain, week, sore ankles, facial breakouts that won’t go away, hair loss, irritable bowl syndrome, the lack of any ambition to do anything, because I’m so completely exhausted. There is much, much more but you get the gist. I am going to start this Monday. The day before yesterday they told me that my heart is so sick that I’m looking at getting a transplant. That’s the absolute last thing I want! So I’m curious to see what happens. If it doesn’t work, I’m probably going to die. No joking. So all the help I can get with this… I’d be endlessly grateful. I needed to start this years ago. Thank you for giving me hope.
You deserve to feel good and I believe you will. I’m so sorry for all the suffering you’ve had to go through. Enjoy restoring your health with delicious meat. Sending you a hug.
Hi Thanks so much for the interview with Alex: he is an articulate inspiration! Covered really important points to assist people, like "you have to have a really good reason driving your ability to sustain this diet/ change. You do have to embrace it with that belief that this is going to alter my life, give me my life back, heal my body. The information you have shared on your Homestead How channel was inspiring. I'm a nurse, and have auto immune issues, and yes on the same toxic meds that have not achieved healing of the root cause. I have just begun yesterday. And my friend with a heart condition that I always berated for eating too much bacon, said to me " I'm in, you've sold me! If I can eat, eggs, beef, bacon, cheese, I'll be very happy". Alex and you look amazing. I cant wait to be healthy once more!!! It is high time these poisonous food companies wake up!
I am a femal who turned 65 this year and after spending last weeken on the couch doubled over from IBS i saw an article came through my fb news feed I took it as a sign and jumped down the rabbit hole and I started Monday today is Friday and no stomach issues ❤
This has been the best video I've seen on eating carnivore! Alex is amazing 😊. I wish continued success to him. You gave a Very informative, interesting, enlightening interview with him. Thanks. I started keto 5 days ago. This made me decide to incorporate some carnivore days in the mix. I'm not ready to do it all at once, lol. My daughter inspired me to go keto with the success she has been having with it. I' have a hand that painfully falls asleep, to the point I have to wait for it to wake up, to use it. Quite frustrating. Sometimes its numb, sometimes pins & needles, other times a burning on fire sensation. Its been going on for several years now. I used to be vegan for years, but changed to SAD when I got married, & my health has gone down hill ever since. I tried vegan again with no success. Some vitamins helped with my left hand, & I'm no longer waking in tears in pain. I'm hoping keto/carnivore is the Key to Unlock this problem in my right hand. That's my first & main "Why". My second "Why" is that I was so healthy before I got married, & now I have gained 50 pounds, due to the SAD diet, plus who knows why else. Thank you so much for the inspiration! I just happened upon you. Also, I had a stress heart attack last December, from which I have recovered, & thankfully I'm not on any medications. My third "Why" is to protect my heart. Thanks again & good luck & success to your wife. 😊
12 days carnivore. My advice for myself is eat more fat. I was eating somewhere around 1:9 fat:protein at the start. Oh boy, I was having diarrhea. Did some more research. Now I'm trying to get around 1:1 fat:protein. My stool is slowly improving, I'm not quite there. I'm literally putting a spoon of butter over my steak as it's resting and drinking all the juice and drippings. Benefits, it's only been 1 week and I feel more focus, alert, my cognitive abilities have improved, better memory, clearer mind. Also less hunger, more stable energy. Less drowsy. I lost 2 lbs already. I'm not a fat person, but I do want to lose the fat in my gut, more for health reasons. I'm excited to see how much my health can improve. I'm 33 and doing this for illness prevention. This will be a excellent investment into my health.
I’ve tried to follow carnivore. My brother is a butcher so I have access to red meat, chicken and eggs. I am 54 years old and I credit carnivore for helping me go through menopause relatively easily. My skin is amazing too.
Hi from rainy Donny. I'm just trying keto and am very interested in carnivore. I just hope leaving it so late (age 66) won't spoil my chances of having good results.
Hi from the Isle of Wight UK. I started with keto mid-2018. Had great results and managed to maintain at 15st from 18.5. Took a deep dive into carnivore 3 weeks ago. I've been devouring as much info from TH-cam as possible. So just coming across this interview now. Great stuff. Loving this way of eating/ life. As of today 13st 11lbs. 13 stone here I come! 😊 x
Absolutely loved this video! I'm from Shropshire UK myself and husband were keto for 2 yrs then I decided to just go carnivore! 2 wks in and I had a lot of what I believe was candida come away over a period of 10 days...it was quite upsetting to see all that nasty living yeast come away. I have an under active thyroid (hashimoto's) I believe so that was my big reason. I have improved a lot!! My husband is keto but is eating more meat heavy and everytime he eats less veg/salad he stops snoring.
I’d love to be a part of the documentary!! I’ve done carnivore off and on for 5 years now and have noticed everything you’ve said as benefits happened to me. I’d love to be a part of this
Kerry, I'm bawling at hearing your story! I have MS and am on the carnivore diet, third week in. I have a long road ahead of healing but I'm hoping to inspire many people. 🙏❤️
Iam not carnivores, but can attest to low carb diet. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year,I went low carb just over 4 months ago. Three months in,I had my yearly MRI scan and cancer had reduced.
You guys are doing soooo much good in the world! Thank you! As you know, when you are committed to doing the exact opposite routine of everyone around you, you really need reminders and reinforcements. And what a great message! Essentially you guys are saying “Look at how wonderful it can be to be alive!” I’ve seen incredible benefits personally, but I still benefit emotionally from hearing your story. Thank you again. Cheers! (To your health!)
This HAS TO be a joke right? You only get "meat" when you "MURDER" and "KILL" things! Yeah... it WAS so wonderful to be alive... until you came along and played GOD. Meat head.
Thank you for your videos, I have been on Carnivore and then Ketovore for 6 months. I have reversed 2(arthritis, asthma)out of 4 of my autoimmune disorders, lost a ton of belly fat and eliminated a mood disorder. I plan on eating this way as long as I can, the benefits are endless, clear mind, better rest, consistent energy and on and on. I really hope more people that are suffering give it a try. Food addiction is real and difficult, but once a person sees how they feel on Carnivore and all the positive changes from it, they just won’t want to go back. Thanks again, and keep sharing the amazing stories.
62, here! Started last July 25… mostly ketovore since I do drink coffee and have selected veg and a few berries occasionally. Hubby eats lots of salads and veggies so I guess I indulge sometimes. Probably go back to cutting them out at the end of summer. I’m convinced carnivore is the best way to eat! Can’t seem to convince hubby… he loves his veggies, beer and snacks. He is super slim and fit though because he does lots of physical labor… even at 67. Not me, my family is prone to gaining weight and getting diabetes and other health issues. Everyone has to find what works for them.
I'm not strictly Carnivore. But every day I eat Steak and bacon at 2pm (after Intermittent Fasting) In the evening I eat no later than 10pm with a mostly meat, egg, and butter meal. I've lost 42 pounds a year ago with no aches and pains... Love it!
Flipping amazing! I'm so glad I made the decision to go carnivore. I am not yet on the lion diet which I will start in a few days. I am almost ending the first 30 days. I feel better than I have felt in years and have lost 8 lbs. What a blessing!
I listened to one family's testimonials a few days ago, and they brought up some issues that really made sense. A couple of family members had a few days with stomach cramps, and perhaps some digestive upset. BUT if you've been a vegetarian for awhile, or eaten very little meat OR been on a high sugar/high carbohydrate diet - your gut bacteria are out of whack, and the gut will shed the bad bacteria - which can result in some bloating or digestive upset. Be persistent . . . it WILL pass, it just takes a few days!
What the heck dude, i thought that the thumbnail was just a clickbait. Really awesome, i know guys in their 60s that look like many 40ers but they never cease to amaze me.
Thank you for all the hard work and the wonderful interviews. So inspiring 😃 I have been carnivore only 2 months and I have lost 12 kg and I am feeling so much better. My mental health is much much better and I feel like I am finally going back to myself after having 2 wonderful babies
Did u start carnivore right after giving birth? I'm 37 weeks pregnant now. My plan is to start carnivore straight away after having my baby. I was too afraid to start while pregnant because of the adaptation phase/keto flu

Good luck!!

Try to keep us posted thru the comments!!!👍👍👍
Wishing you wife all the best...this will be life changing for her. ☘💪
PLEASE make sure you talk about the bowl issues that she will most like have the first two weeks.
That's brilliant
My wife has joined me as well.
The major benefits of the carnivore diet apart from all of the health benefits is less washing up.
He looks about 42. That is wild. I am 38 and have a hard time convincing people that I am older than 29, so this guy is my role model and hero.

Your friends are obviously jealous. Screw them!
It’s is crazy how the closest to us won’t even acknowledge it. HATERS

Love it 😊
Wow, Alex seems like the best most genuine dude.
Your testimony is wonderful and your six pack is just around the corner😊
At 52...my Adonis notch came back ON ITS OWN. :-) keep on it!
Ty
And at 46 your heart will stop... get real meat head.
I am at 10 weeks of 95% carniivore, I noticed that a chronic mucus cough I have had forever has
stopped. I have had two sinus surgeries since 1995 that didn't "cure" it. I rarely have to
blow my nose. My sleep is awesome, wake up rested after 6 hours without alarm
waking me up. No night trips to the Loo. Life is better.

I've been doing the diet for more than 2 months now. I've had chronic mucus cough for more than 15 years now, it already got better, hoping it will go away completely for me too!

The magic of the internet....so many are healing because of the internet and others sharing their keto/carnivore journeys online. 💙 What a blessing for all of the sharing. Thank you Alex for your carnviore story of healing. Thanks Kerry to you too for chatting about carnviore so much.
That's a great point, I often complain about the potential evils of the internet but you're right these wonderful videos can be lifesaving and that IS magical! Most of us would not have made all our progress without it 😊

I'm a 55 year old carnivore. I'm hoping to look as good as you when I'm 65. Great job 👍
Started 5 months ago at 48… I’ve become insanely healthy! I’m a Home Care Nurse so I’m experimenting on myself. I like the results!
Kim....we are all in the same situation...research, find your WHY! x
The FDA is not your friend my friends.
No 3 letter agency is.

How did you come off Hugh blood pressure meds?...did you gradually decrease or just stop?
Tomorrow is day 1 on carnivore after listening to you two. At 67 I plan to look 47 in one year. 😅

Same journey, great results, well done for perseverance 😉
Good for you! Everyone around me thinks I’m crazy 😅
@@infidelcastor They may at first, but they will see how much healthier you are and perhaps they will one day join you.
I do struggle once in a while with my food addiction mindset, but I have not fallen off the wagon. I just find I need a distraction when a craving hits. Much like someone addicted to any substance. One day at a time. 😉👍🏻

Instead of 120 bucks with junk, I'm at 60 buck for meats.
this is what people who say it would cost so much to do don't consider, how much the crap in the supermarkets cost
36 days in, 30lbs down, stronger than ever, and feeling better than I have in over a decade! Appreciate your content.
Day 8 for me . Life changing. Already so many positive changes. Plus I've lost 10lbs!
In my first 10 days I don't believe I lost weight but I felt smaller and realized how swwollen inflammation kept me. I did lose 2 incges off my waist in the furst 2 wks. So much more to come. 😊 I am obviously in the metabolic healing stage so the process. Love it! Both of you are inspirational. 💕
Well done, great to hear 😊
My husband's snoring was so bad you could hear him on the other side of the house! He had the sleep apnea machine (he hated wearing) We started carnivore he has completely stopped snoring and looks 20 years younger.
How long have you been on the carnivore?
Lol that's a good one😅

I concur with Alex - back in the 60's you had "the fat kid" in a class of 30 students and today you have "the skinny kid" or the one that is height/weight appropriate. People now are enormous and a lot of it started in the 80's when everyone was giving their babies juice bottles.
That and the rise in use of the microwave oven
I was born in 1979 and remember when we got our 1st microwave and VCR - and how food used to be smaller and better quality, with alot less sugar than it has now
@@nancymc4154 Yeah I wasted 10 years as a vegetarian - wish I had never done that!
@MotivatedSista I know exactly what you're talking about, because my sister and best friend go through that. They've been accused of having eating disorders, and told that they need to eat more, etc. People can be so intrusive and impolite.
I’m on day 12 on carnivore and praying I will be an example for my husband and children.

Definitely reduces inflammation 😊
There's YOUR WHY? right there. You can do 30days strict carnivore, I know you can. Go for it and get playing. All the best.

Thank you Alex for sharing your story❤

Keto is the gateway drug to Carnivore
Actuuuuallllyyyyy. Thee original Atkins by Dr. Atkins was correct. He influenced and paved the way. His original true plan was zero carbs for two weeks then incorporate very few carbs in the form of certain plants. He is the one that deserves the credit.

Best wishes on your life changes 😊
I am a femal who turned 65 this year and after spending last weeken on the couch doubled over from IBS i saw an article came through my fb news feed I took it as a sign and jumped down the rabbit hole and I started Monday today is Friday and no stomach issues ❤
Well done! Keep it up 😊
Great insight and inspiration. Following you from Africa, Tanzania. On day 6, I'm feeling great. Will update this after day 30
This has been the best video I've seen on eating carnivore!
Alex is a wonderful speaker, he should make his own videos. I found this a very uplifting, inspiring conversation. Thanks guys!
Whoop whoop UK!!! I'm in South Yorkshire. Not many UK carnivors on YT, let's change that! 😁🍖🥓
I'm in Uk only been carnivore for a month. Acid reflux gone arthritis 95% better and losing weight consistently. Love this way of life😁
Hi from Kent, South East England ❤ 🍖🥩🥓🍗🍳🥚
Hi from rainy Donny. I'm just trying keto and am very interested in carnivore. I just hope leaving it so late (age 66) won't spoil my chances of having good results.
@@linz716 from my experience I can tell you with some confidence that you will have good results👍 -in fact, you may be astonished.
Good to hear your progress...my wife is my mental support, you'll do this!
Yeast die off, that gets your attention.
Soooooo inspiring!!! Four months on carnivore and feeling better every day.
I’d love to be a part of the documentary!! I’ve done carnivore off and on for 5 years now and have noticed everything you’ve said as benefits happened to me. I’d love to be a part of this
When you think about it people are poisoning themselves every single day eating garbage. It's truly sad
Kerry, I so appreciate you, just a regular guy, not a Doctor, you care so much about others. you are making a great impact. thank you.
He is the best, such a generous host 😊
You guys are doing soooo much good in the world! Thank you!
As you know, when you are committed to doing the exact opposite routine of everyone around you, you really need reminders and reinforcements. And what a great message! Essentially you guys are saying “Look at how wonderful it can be to be alive!”
I’ve seen incredible benefits personally, but I still benefit emotionally from hearing your story. Thank you again.
Cheers! (To your health!)
This HAS TO be a joke right? You only get "meat" when you "MURDER" and "KILL" things! Yeah... it WAS so wonderful to be alive... until you came along and played GOD. Meat head.
Glad to hear that your wife is joining you. I was vegetarian and had all sorts of skin issues and major weight problems
But every day I eat Steak and bacon at 2pm (after Intermittent Fasting)
In the evening I eat no later than 10pm with a mostly meat, egg, and butter meal.
Incredible transformation!! Looks 20yrs younger😮👏👏
Starting officially tomorrow. My Independence Day! 63 at the end of August. Let's go!!!!
Nice meeting you Alex. Great colab guys. Thx for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
Love to hear it!
@@ntombilanga3541 watch you tuber “myzerocarblife”. She has been carnivore for almost 14 years and she stayed carnivore during and after all of her pregnancies. She breast fed all of her children while being carnivore as well.
How much is 12kg??
@@helencurtis1125 converting to pounds that would be almost 27 pounds.
