It’ll go about 35-40kms to a charge. It’s a universal plug in port so any phase can be used. When charge fully depleted I’ve filled up and gauge showing 570 ish kms of fuel range

I agree and that’s frustrating, love the idea of plug in 4xe but seems there’s just so many issues that keep popping up. Happy mine is still under warranty for 1 more year so hopefully most issues will have come out or be dealt with by then

I have a 2024 4XE with just under 6900 mi. As I was driving, I saw a red turtle light pop up on my dash and a warning saying "speed may be limited". Right after that, my speed slowed to a stop. The radiator fan turned on at full blast - like a jet engine. I had to wait for about 2 or 3 minutes for it to shut down while pulled over. After that, I was able to turn it back on and drive for about another 2 or 3 minutes before the process repeated itself. I pulled over 4 times to get home. This just happened 2 days ago, and I'm still waiting for the dealer to send a tow truck.

It does seem like the noise level has decreased for sure. Music sounds better, and taking phone calls seems more clear. I recently added the final rear piece kit, will post. I noticed once that was in, it was even slightly more quieter. Highway sound though is inevitable lol As for the the temperature, I do feel the AC remained colder, and heat retention will find out soon the Canadian fall weather is arriving

It can be cleaned :) I just use water then let fully air dry before re-installing . Been working great so far

Being mainly memory foam i’d think you could , but that’s just assuming. Maybe don’t seal it too tight

It’s a little louder and adds a slightly more aggressive tone on full throttle which is nice :)

No check engine light :) Was really easy install and yes I agree gives a clean look. Been on for over 10k kms now and still no issues. Very happy with this upgrade

Yes it’s more a carpet like material , however I didn’t try but I think you actually ‘can’ stick Velcro patches on this material

Yes unfortunately there definitely is some quality issues happening . And being the first generation of 4xe us current owners are the test pilots lol

Yes I completely agree a vehicle in this price range would be ideal to come equivalent with higher quality cable and/or attachment that would give faster charge time

It’s the 120v. Would charge fast with 240v

Does this charger support a 240v outlet ? I checked on the back it only says 120v. If anyone has any info about this I would be very grateful.

Blak you have no idea what you are talking about. The reason it takes so long is to avoid fire hazards that other level one chargers risk

Seemed to have been a somewhat common issue for the 2021 and 2022 coming from factory. Hopefully it was recognized and the quality control has stepped up :) so that’s good yours where set

There’s definitely been some growing pains having the 4xe. Luckily have the warranty. I had a ram1500 sport years ago and love it

@@XploreAndReviews - yes thank God for the warranty. Still love my Jeep, but also love my 1500 Ram as well! I'll post back the outcome from the dealership next week. Hopefully it will help someone else with this issue. Thanks for posting your video by the way! My husband and I found it very helpful!

Quick update, the dealership claims there was a loose connection with the wires causing the computer to detect that a coolant value was stuck open. They popped the connection back into place and the code was rest. Had the Jeep at the dealership for a few days to have the 3 recalls assessed and addressed. Took a few days to get the Jeep back. So far, the check engine light has not come back on. Fingers crossed! The 4XE definitely has its challenges but I LOVE it!

Mpg id say was plus 1-2 mpg. The most noticeable difference and for me personally was the better more aggressive exhaust note and engine air intake noise during acceleration.

I think that’s definitely the hardest part, color choice. In person the silver has cool tone to it, stands out abit more on finger too

Yes for sure. Any variation by using a level 2 charger even at 16amps which takes 4.5 hours is better then using level 1 which takes a painful 14 hours to charge lol.

@@XploreAndReviews it took around 15 hours or longer to charge I can’t believe Jeep would even put one in the vehicle?. It’s like buying a rolls Royce with a donut tire lol nuts

I think it’s a nice little inexpensive add on but helps give the wrangler a-bit more needed storage

Mine came loose from the factory :/ unfortunately I feel this is just neglect on quality control as many new owners having same result I’ve checked them every few days just out of curiosity and noticed they’ve stayed in tight which is good, and hopefully remains that way

Basically if I hit a speed bump hard most likely would have came out. The fuses weren’t pushed in fully and barely seated in its slot

Still very happy with it. Has softened abit but definitely still on the firm side which is great. Holding up very well quality wise, with the mattress protector on since day 1, when removed it looks new still :)

Did your have any issues doing so? I just bought the latest version of the Costco mattress and also have an adjustable base from mattress firm. I’ve been worried the mattress may not adjust properly.

@@calcioAficionado I only adjust my mattress to a small incline nothing crazy like you see in those commercials where you see people sitting nearly straight up in bed. Having said that it does crease the middle a tiny bit but I don't know if it's because I had gotten into the habit of sitting in the middle of the bed (now I have a chair to properly sit in when I get up to put on pants, night robe etc. Now I know why my parents had a chair back in the day!) or the adjustable platform. Either way it's at a comfortable incline for reading, zooming on the phone but nothing crazy. It hasn't affected our sleep at all. There are memory foam mattresses that are made for the adjustable platform but I can't stand them. Trade-offs. Meh. What can you do.

Yes that’s unfortunate:( Could maybe try rotating it . Ours is still going strong. Slight bump in middle but otherwise great

The support is definitely still there. Bed has stayed firm, with just enough softness :) weve also had a matress protector on, and it looks as if brand new.

Yes. Still has nice firm support and softened up just enough for balanced comfort

Its firm when brand new, but will break in just enough to give a cradle with top layer foam, which is what we wanted firm support
