@@NJTechBenchmarkI got the 2048 one, I installed it a custom vbios from Sapphire RX 570 which is way more power efficient and also performed a UV (995mV) and OC (from 1280 to 1366 and in memory, from 1750 to 2000mhz) and on full load it only consumes between 87-92W while keeping very close to the RX 580 performance (due to less shading units)
@@NJTechBenchmark yeah, working like a charm :). Those RX 580 2048 from AliExpress come with mining vbios so it's mandatory to change the vbios and undervolt as much as possible to prolong the life of the card
For the people who got the 2048sp version of the card, they mostly come with mining vbios so it will die very soon, you must install a custom vbios (depending on the vram chips you have, there is Samsung, micron and hynix) I recommend going for a RX 570 or 470 vbios since they are power efficient, I am using one from Sapphire which reduced the wattage from 120W on full load to 90-95W while keeping the same clock speeds (you can still overclock to get the rx 580 2048 one).
1650 is more Fast than 580 is 3x more memory speed and 300mhz more mhz but rx 580 is 2x watt and memory so rx 580 more fps than 1650 both trash gpu in 2024 😅😂😂😂
Core clock and memory clock aren't really related to huge performance uplift, the whole RX 580 is the proof, also the "6000mhz" memory speed is a marketing tactic from NVIDIA, both share very similar memory clocks
@@gamermesh if you value the power and the energy bill the rx580 will be less interesting for you because is less power efficient more power 2x for slightly more fps
This 2024, what is point with these old cards? The proper competitor should be the 1060 as it was since both were launched within like 9 months of each other in the 2016-17 time frame.

I'm assuming this is the true RX 580 2304 SP, the 2048 SP version would be slightly below the GTX 1650 in performance while consuming more power.
Yeah this is 2304 sp version. The 2048 sp version will be 10-20% slower depending on the configuration.

@PanchoGDMKWii 995mV pretty good.

Rx 580 merece respeito que placa fofa ✌🏻ainda tem mt lenha ora queimar
580 is of course a great card and it is faster than 1650! But 580 consumes almost twice as much energy!
Yeah the not very efficient
Today most entry gpu 128 bits consume 100-160w, but going for 96 bits are around 70-80w.
After a custom vbios and undervolt, with 1366mhz and 2000mhz memory my card only consumes 87-92W on full load while keeping the same performance
70-75% more power. But i think it's fine, we can undervolt it to 1075-1090mV and it will consumes 100-110W
@@PanchoGDMKWiiBut you have to know how to flash bios, it is not the thing that everyone can do. Undervolt it to 1075-1090mV is a better option

Way amd rx win???
1650 sucks since launch

The 1650 was never intended to compete with it and this comparison is pointless
El problema de la RX 580 es que marea, vibra mucho y lo único bueno es que tiene más FPS
LOL, que? Ahora los frames ya no son importantes, por que se marean los gamers.
nvidia sucks, trash gpu

already upload the RX 580 vs GTX 1060 last week - th-cam.com/video/Tz8Uc-ltapk/w-d-xo.html
Believe it or not people still use them. In the end they are still alright for a bunch of online games
I bought the RX 580 3 weeks ago, its very popular in 2024 for people with a small budget
