CLAYPOT SALTED FISH CHICKEN | SHERSON LIAN

Last year, I've made the viral Claypot Chicken Rice recipe that has more than 90K views. For today, I wanna do a claypot chicken recipe with a little bit of twist. It is a Claypot Salted Fish Chicken. You guys pernah rasa ke recipe ni? It is a traditional Cantonese dish that features tender chicken pieces cooked with salted fish in a claypot. The dish is known for its rich and savory flavors, with the salted fish adding an umami taste to the chicken.
Dalam recipe ni, It's suppose to add rice wine but for those that don't drink alcohol, I substitute it with the kombucha. Don't forget to try this recipe, and let me know the outcome! Have a nice day! ✨
Ingredients - Marinate:
✏️ Whole Chicken Leg
✏️ 2 tbsp - Soy Sauce
✏️ 2 tbsp - Oyster Sauce
✏️ Whitepepper
✏️ 1 tbsp - Tapioca Starch
✏️ 1 tbsp - Dark Caramel
Aromatics:
✏️ Ginger
✏️ Shallots
✏️ 5 cloves - Garlic
✏️ Oil
✏️ 60ml - Sesame Oil
✏️ ¼ Cup - Kombucha
✏️ 1 pcs - Salted Fish (Mackerel In Oil)
✏️ ½ Cup - Water
✏️ Dried Chillies
Garnish:
✏️ Chinese Parsley
