Lord almighty! John Lennon was right, when he said, before Elvis was nothing! And after Elvis? There is nothing too! Elvis, you are the greatest! No one can reach your supernatural voice, your charme, your talent, your charisma, your heart ans soul, your stage presence, your generousity! Never! Adore you, love you, forever!!!
I love Elvis's music, he could sing in any style and it was just the best. And I love how when the song was done, he was so humble and said how he thought the audience was good. He was so classy and all around wonderful person ❤️ 😊
Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN ever since. If asked what is my FAVOURITE ELVIS song. The answer would have to be ALL OF THEM and he recorded over 700 songs!! ELVIS could have recorded an album of Nursery Rhymes and i would have loved THEM ALL. But this song is "UP THERE" ELVIS could have walked ALL OVER ME. He wiggled his hips and jiggled his legs and it was HIS VOICE - enough to make you go week at the knees. Charisma in bucket loads AND OHHHH SOOOOOO SEXY. There has never been anyone since LIKE ELVIS
We will "NEVER" forget you Elvis. This song/tune can be played in the key of “E” on your harmonica. I will be making a cover of this song…soooo…Look for it!
Hey rock & roll harmonica, I am trying to teach myself to play harmonica. I would appreciate any easy songs in C key. It's harder than it looks. Thanks.
I get the sense that Elvis didn't realize JT wrote this as a blues parody, to mock the mojo filled, young suburban blues hot shots around Greenwich Village in the late sixties, when he was starting out with The Flying Machine. The wardrobes would seem to indicate Elvis was unaware of the basic concept of "parody."
LMAO If someone like you with an ordinary intelligence know the concept of parody then obviously a legend like Elvis knew what a parody is!! Elvis simply sang the hell out of it and treated it as a straight blues rocker and the lyrics suited his iconic sex symbol figure!! Even if JT composed it as a parody of white bluesmen, the lyrics totally suits Elvis that's why it sounds so good in his iconic sultry Voice.
The guy is extremely intelligent, talented and dedicated, his physique looks healthy BUT his psyche does not look healthy. He moves like a drug addict who can't control his body and face. Even Joe Rogan was uncomfortable, who's usually very relaxed. DLR only looked healthy and sane when he talked about MUSIC. I hope he's healthy and I hope this has always been how he was.
What you mumble about! He was perfectly fine here not drugged! You just talk nonsenses and should stop pretending to be smart intellectual when you're NOT!!!

BTW everyone knows the concept of parody! It's hilarious you brag about it as if it were an extraordinary knowledge🤣🤣🤣
Wow he was a steam roller....
