Try looking up trade schools in your area, if you're interested enough to make it a career. I barely had any tuition assistance (like maybe $600 from my state's lottery) but I seriously only pay $650 in tuition every 4 months. Of course you have to buy tools, but American Job Centers apparently paid for alot of my classmates'.

That's because Honda is the largest internal combustion engine manufacturer in the world (at least gasoline engines). They make the best quality engines in the world or at least the old ones were. In fact their engines are so good that a lot of companies like the Harbor freight preditor brand of small engines, Biggs and stratton and many other companies make their small engines based off Hondas patented small engine design hence the term "honda clone" engine. He'll even a lot of the Chinese knockoff engines on Amazon still use the same design only their built poor quality but they still use the same iconic design.

Interesting though, so that’s the whole point of petrol in the car. Is just for the combustion part to enable the power stroke which moves the crankshaft. And then the emissions just exit through the outlet valve. I never thought it played such a seemingly small role.

If I was a robot the voice might not have bugged me so such, other than that it was highly informative.

Is it only me that noticed that the initial animation showing all 4 cylinders is actually in reverse (up to 1m 50s and after 3m 20s)?
ie a valve opens at the same time as the power stroke whereas they should both be closed ;-)

I have finished watching this video completely.
I am a Taiwanese who cares about the global affairs.
And, sadly, most of my fellow Taiwanese don't really care about the world.
Hopefully Taiwan can become increasingly globally-aware and globally-competitive.
    God bless Taiwan.

Absolutely great and professional. Thanks for this beautiful video. I hope you make other videos about how the clutch works and the gear box cuz it's the most important component while driving. Thank you

i wonder what powers the first stroke in the car as soon as you start the engine..is it batteries?!

    • @autotechlabs
      @autotechlabs  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

The starter motor creates the initial momentum for the pistons through the flywheel. Simultaneously fuel is injectected and ignited by the ECU using supply power (Battery/Alternator). Afterwards starter motor turns off and the internal combustion takes over.
