Great editing and an honest review of the series! With all that’s out there now like Multiversus, Warzone, and Fortnite. Saints Row was actually ahead of it’s time with influencers, time travel, and aliens.
In my head canon I made a character like Persephone Brimstone that kinda acts like the Nick Fury of my “Saintsverse” taking over Steelport in the Third, and becoming President to save the world and avenge it by 4.
Because of the zaniness and pop culture references, my character feels like she’s properly at the center of the story and that’s why it’s so replayable to me after all these years

Honestly SR4 my favorite SR game.

when I was trying out saints row the third and saints row 4, I liked saints row 4 more than saints row the third due to the dumb fun gameplay and the older characters making an appearance. saints row 4 brought the ridiculousness scale in most things up to 12, but it actually toned down a few things from its previous game as well like the level upgrades. it was also more fun to explore a boring dead city with super powers than it is with conventional vehicles so saints row 4 also has that. I prefer saints row 4 over saints row the third in gameplay, story, characters and creativity. (although it can't really be called a saints row game at this point)

I enjoyed Saints Row 4 way more than Saints Row 3 it had a better pacing and the story didn't feel half-assed

This was actually my first SR game, and the first GTA styled game I remember playing way back when I was like 14 or 15 on PS3. I was hooked on the game for a while, as I'd never really played a game before that let me smack someone across the map with a tentacle from offbrand Japanese animations that was the size of a baby elephant trunk while dressed as Dollar Store Cloud Strife or Hatsune Miku.
I still have that National Treasure edition of the game in my collection.

I started with the first one at this age then 2 which are my favorite but I enjoyed Saints Row 4
