The strongarm isn't that bad of a blaster. It has a cool reload system, only found in the alphahawk, and it also delivers the hits. Also easy to slamfire

None of the strongarms I have used (and I have had a lot of them) were ever that good. In my experience they don’t mod well and eventually stop working all together. I will wait before I chose a side in the strongarm/hammer shot war though, because I haven’t used enough hammer shots to get an acceptable idea how good they are, but I am leaning that way right now.

sometimes I have nerf "skirmishes" with my cousins, and they both love the Nightfinder
1: Hammershot (single hand ops/ dual wield, plus endless mods)
2: Disruptor (6 rnd capacity, easy reload, slam fire)
3: Jolt (super small, super reliable, super powerful, just plain super)
4: Triad (cheap, 3 rnd capacity from a single shot size gun)
5: Maverik (the first reliable and easy to use multi dart gun)
Note: No rival guns, cuz I don't use them (darts forever! )
Kronos is #1 all day! Keep a look out in your fan mail, I have some rival mods headed your way :-)

Should have mentioned the old Rebelle Five-By-Five along-side the Hammershot, though! That's by far my favorite handblaster in my arsenal!
When I was a kid my fav was the Eagle Eye from the Maxforce series. That crappy light bulb red laser sight was so cool back then. I have one in the back of my closet, too bad I can't find darts for it anywhere though.

I understand that you prefer the hammershot. And heck, I have my own modded hammershot that I love using, but please don't call the strongarm "hot garage." And no, I'm not getting actually offended by what you said, Its just that the strongarm was the gun that got me back into nerf after a while of being inactive. Hammershot is good, and so is the strongarm. Please don't start a riot about this, I'm simply another nerfer expressing my opinion.

The Strongarm has durability issues, and cannot be easily dual wielded. It does have slamfire, but it breaks after a while. It was one of my first blasters too, but mine's trashed, and I'm not replacing it. Well, other than my two Rebelle Five-By-Fives and two Hammershots. Lol

Strongarm is amazing. Its the gun i like to keep in my holster. It offers an awesome grip imo, and it's just a classic revolver. Also the first one I ever got.

my favorite pistol was always the 3 shot mega blaster, just because they were able to be dual-wielded and by attaching a lug to both primers, you could prime them against each other very easily until one broke. My son has this adventure force pistol single shot that I really like because of the elite level power and the slide has a reverse spring when you rack it that feels great.

You forgot to mentionthe Sweet Revenge, yes I know it is the rebelle version of the Hammershot, but it does lack the cloth wrap.

I've played nerf battles with my nephew. I picked up a disruptor to for battles. I like the ergonomics and I like the kinda of sci fi look of it.
Drac I am a 12 year old kid. I have been watching you vids since I got my ipod 1.5 years ago. I have been so inspired by you. 2 weeks ago, I saw a 3D printer for 250 on eBay. I contacted him and was so excited. I thought I would be able to start printing my own stuff and maybe start modding. I started saving. I finally got the money a day ago. I had been doing homework for other kids, mowing lawns, and literally picking up change off the ground. I counted my money, and I knew I had enough. I went on eBay to buy it. And it wasn’t there. I checked again and again and again. It was never there. I was so sad. I hate to swear I’m catholic but that guy is a dick. I am coping with it the only way I know by watching TH-cam. I keep stumbling upon nerf mods. Eventually I started watching this. I looked again today just incase there was one for 250. You are the reason I am so determined and I hope you keep doing top 5s. I’m just going to say please don’t go in the comments other users and start hating on this comment. I saw it happen to a kid and it was rough to watch. I think you should add your logo on a red banner for background and audio is a little worse.

It was my first nerf gun, and is still probably the best.
It's reliable with range and accuracy, despite only having a 3 dart capacity.

Favourite pistol from childhood was the strongarm as I used it as a primary in many wars with my friends and almost always won using it, it's just very good how it is and I don't hesitate to use one instead of other primary guns sometimes

Honestly. The strongarm isnt my favorite blaster. I wouldn't go as far as to say its hot garbage, but mine stopped working after like two weeks so its not very good in my oppinion.

Hey Drac! As a gun guy, I was super stoked to hear you used cerakote on nerf guns. Not a whole lot of that going on in the modding community, which seems strange to me.
May I suggest an alternative in KG Gunkote? They are already pre mixed, it's just shake and spray. You don't have to dump the leftover paint in your spray gun. Also there's no mixing. They're just as strong, and they were the ones who won the military contract. They're a bake on product that as far as our testing went, was just as strong. KG is also like half as expensive as Cerakote's inflated price.
Also their customer service is leaps and bounds ahead of Cerakote. EG, they don't blame defects in their own products on the users.
The strong arm is a good pistol, and depending on your playstyle, can be a lot better than a Hammershot. It's a lot better for new and inexperienced nerfers and overall is just more reliable. It has an extra dart capacity compared to the Hammershot, and has probably more modding potential. It can have drop cylinder mods so reloading is much faster than a Hammershot or it can be front loaded if you just buy the Disruptor instead. It also has slamfire, which makes it able to shoot faster than many full-auto blasters, and is much faster than the relatively slow-firing Hammershot. This means you can probably spray 3 or 4 of your darts before the enemy with a Hammershot has shot his second. And it's also cheaper.
Plus the swing-out cylinder gives it style points.
I commented this to tell people looking for Nerf pistols to buy that the Strongarm (and Disruptor) are very good options for Nerf pistols, and you should definitely consider them. *They are not hot garbage.*

@@smytman5137 Fanning properly is really hard to do, and oftentimes when fanning the dart won't go further than 4 or 5 feet.

My favorite is the nightfinder. It was my first gun that I modded. I've also had mine for a very long time and it was given to me by a close friend so it will always have a place in my heart and in my loadout.
