Minute 13, when Demetra is telling Chris with a proud face how relief and happy she was to let him take the responsanilty of writting about the History of astrology beacause she knew how well he was going to that job is lovely

53:00- short history of modern revival of astrology
Very interesting. How would you look at a chart where MC with Saturn in the 10th falls into the 12th sign...Would this be considered as a 12th house placement or the 10th? I have my Libra Saturn positioned this way, I was born in Northern latitude ... I have hard time interpreting this in my ow chart ... as these two positions are very different.
The lord of the 10th is in the 12th? (You can search for that on TH-cam and will get a KRS video about it).

That's really complex...
At some point i wonder if the translation needed some extra info from greek language . There is actually no word spear - bearers in english. The so called spear - bearers " doryphoroi " in greek is nothing but the word satelites in english. So why not call those planets satelite planets instead of introducting new definitions which are not actually spoken anywhere.

It is $49 in US dollars, which is $72 in New Zealand dollars where the publisher is. So... $49 US.
@Richard Burns - Since it says on the description page for the book that the price is $72 in New Zealand dollars, I think we can infer that the country rate being given on the check out page is also in New Zealand dollars.
I like it when there’s unexpected and relevant information.
I actually think removing the lots only leaving fortune was a huge mistake while… I think part of what was learned about lots is ancient astrologers went completely overboard with them and over correcting tends to happen. And, if it’s thought Ptolemy didn’t actually practice astrology (I think that was suggested as possible and argued) as with clients or whatever, they may seem redundant because you probably do need to actually know the client with some of them.
This lead me to wanting to fine tune my opinion on houses so I’m revisiting the house episodes for fun.
Just to be annoying, I think the 5th also represents the natives childhood which shapes their attitude or attempts with children to a degree while also showing creativity in terms of hobbies that play a part in parenthood and putting unfair and unjustifiable expectations on a poor soul coming into this world as a blank slate that’s punishable by 100’s to 1,000’s of years multiplied in hell. (Capricorn 5th and Aquarius 6th joke). If my chart was read professionally using whole signs I’d be fine with it but I may also say that quadrants are slightly more accurate (Aquarius moon in 5th as opposed to 6th) because the moon tends to more express itself with 6th house tensions in the 5th. Others hold the opinion of the mars, Venus, and Pluto in the 1st while I will say virgo ascendant is right and libra ruling the 2nd is also, I just don’t necessarily fit that description completely while others say it’s definitely in the 1st which causes problems because it makes me come off as unbelievably secretive and snobby at times with some people while others despise me, but that’s partially the 11th good fortune. Anyways, creative hobbies being 5th with that opposite 11th also makes sense.
Just wanting to adjust a personal view prior to actually sitting down and dealing with how the lots interact. I’ll admit looking at the spindle of necessity makes me feel a tad better with using two house systems simultaneously. 😝
I did find it’s near accuracy fascinating even thought their cosmology is off. The universe is sort of spindle shaped and you could still argue there’s 8 layers by orbit.
1, Mercury. 2, Venus. 3, mars. 4, Jupiter. 5, Saturn. 6, uranus. 7, Neptune. 8, Pluto. You wouldn’t count sun, moon or earth and they were only concerned with planets. I’ve been very close to looking into why there’s 3 bands of astrological signs. Look into that some other time or life.
But, I can understand why the Nemesis lot would be in aries 7th with spirit in aries 8th because there is a “self undoing” pattern of 7th impulsiveness that makes a mess of things where learning to have patience with that aries sign regardless of house has stopped it. A repeated motto for many years has been to just let people undo themselves instead of actively engaging. “What you don’t like about others will eventually be their downfall” which is very much mars in libra attitudes. With the 7th, impulsiveness let’s others make decisions which is heavily related to having P symbol synchronicities reminding me to not bail out of a path which has been greatly rewarding.
Removing lots may have been a mistake but I also like the nodes also seeing/having an attitude that too much emphasis is on them sometimes where it’s often best to drop them as not being THAT IMPORTANT. That could be exactly why lots were dropped and only 2-3 are often used. Lot of Eros is libra, looking at the full Lot routing may be incredibly fun.

Add on: new conspiracy theory bonus.
A new conspiracy theory heard yesterday was that ancient astrology was a psyops to secretly change the calendar, days of the week, etc by hiding the true weather patterns so manly men couldn’t live off the land relying on feminine men in astrology and government to take care of them to enslave the masses making them dependent on others and government. Of course, if that’s the best “masculine men” can come up with they probably do need “feminine men” to control them. It was weird. Astrology is just a way to keep the truth about equinoxes secret. Brilliant.
