I have been looking at buying these items, do I have to install them via the includes transformer or can I install them with a pluggable transformer like you used during your tests?
Hi, in the video it seemed that you had both a mechanical chime and the smart chime operating with the doorbell at the same time - is that right? I’d like to connect a DB1 to both a mechanical and 1 or 2 smart chimes - is this possible? Thanks
Hi really useful video. My question is I have a wired pushbotton door bell that rings the bell in my house. If I disconnect the pushbutton and replace it with the Eyviz will the bell still ring when eyviz botton is pressed?
I have had one of these fir a year. Do you have any idea why the sd card keeps failing with 'not formatted '. This happens when the DB1 is used with the existing door chime. EZVIS SUPPORT cannot solve it.
I use it with now with no chime but linked to Alexa. Might consider adding the chime now.
Incidently, why did you not install the resistor?
Dave, will you consider a review of the new AX PRO Wireless Series intrusion alarm system. Seems they are promoting both resi & commercial applications. Would be interesting to see how it interoperates with their cameras.

hello I would like to know where to buy the Ezviz chime doorbell
When I connect my ezviz doorbell to my power supply, which I bought separately due to the fact I do not have an existing doorbell power source, but when I connect it my doorbell gets super super hot. How can I prevent it from becoming so hot. I bought a ac-ac adaptor input 120v output 24v
i'm really interested in the DB1 and the chime, my biggest issue is getting power to the DB1, and suggestions, I may have a route to the back of a mains socket (its a longshot), but i'd need a transformer 24v, any suggestions

i cant get the chime to work with the dorbell, whatever i try. People stat to use the hik connect ap, well thats easy as i alreadyuse this. But also there: not able te get it to work, i cant connect the chime to the doorbell..
The Human Detection is only on the newer DB1C doorbell ? I have the DB1 and don't see any Human Detection settings, looks like you are using a DB1 in the video however? Never seen their new plugin Chime unit before, so thanks for the video.
yes the new DB1C has the human detection instead of the PIR function 😊
Your a top bloke, all your videos are very useful and well explained. Can I link the DB1 to my hikvision NVR to save footage rather than use cloud storage? I currently have the DS-KB8112-IM installed by POE but you cannot change the tone when the button is pressed on the outside!
you can add it to the NVR yes but as its WiFI it might not be as stable
@@DVSLTD can we use internet explorer or chrome or any browser to uncheck DHCP , because the ezviz ring doorbell is not ip static by default ..

you can also use the SD card function , and yes it can be added as camera channel

it will depend on which you choose to be compatible with the chime and the device

Can it connect to alexa echo show? When it pressed can it show automatically on echo show and talk it back?
it has Alexa integration but I will need to test with a show as I haven’t tested it , I don’t have one either currently

@@p0ndhouse I use a digital chiome not an old school one. Don't need a resistor if its a WIFI chime.

can this work (chime only) when door bell pressed when there are no wifi or internet??
the chime can work if you link the doorbell to the chime, but then no app would work
@DVSLTD Can you link 2 of the doorbells to 1 chime?
in short yes If the DB1 associated with CS-CMT-B0-CHIME, yes, it can be associate with more than one DB1; if it is CS-CMT-A0-CHIME, the old one, only can be paired with one DB1.
Which one is the Hotwire on the camera, top or bottom wire
its up to 24vac supply so can be connected either way around
