Your so good at explaining things in simple terms and I have to agree that the doorbell does look very good quality. I'm assuming that was your lovely son who stood outside in the dark cold night in his dressing gown to help showcase it. Anyway its good to see you back again...Happy New year to you and yours.
Thank you. I've just purchased this item. Your vlog has helped me a lot. I thought you could set parameters for it , but it appears you can't, apart grom turning the PIR off which I might do at some point. I live in a dead end road, so what cars go past have to go back out again, which means my PIR is working overtime.
Excellent video, I have the Ezviz DB1C which is hard wired into the mains, the sensitivity is a bit too good as even set on low it still sometimes registers people 6' away.
Can I power it of an existing old doorbell wires (not keen on batteries)? When you turned it around, it looked like 2 wire pins. And what power does it need, low AC, or it's a DC input?
Power saving is OK if you need a longer time before recharging but personally I would rather keep it as standard and increase the quality and performance
Thank you I have left it on the user customization. But I need help it’s not allowing me to playback video. (I’m able to see video from 4am but from 10 this morning I can’t) any idea what’s the problem?
I have an EZVIZ video doorbell, I find the app on my iPhone very frustrating because I can't view the playback in full screen mode, just the top section of the phone screen which is too small. When I turn the phone to landscape the video doesn't flip and go full screen.
That sounds strange, as i use the same doorbell via my phone, and when i turn my phone (android) it will be full screen which is much easier to view. I would try the app software to see if it needs updating as a suggestion.
I have enjoyed your videos for a long time now. Might I suggest you invest in a wireless microphone system, such as the Rode Wireless GO II, or an on-camera shotgun mic, to help mitigate the ambient/road noise, as well as upping your overall production value, whether you're indoors or out. Cheers from San Francisco!
I do use a Rode shotgun mic anyway, but outside it does pick up a lot of noise. Must admit i am looking into a better mic, and the wireless go 2 looks very good, thanks for the suggestion.
@@lords-electrical You could also try putting the shotgun mic on a boom pole so that it’s closer to you. Anyway, appreciate the effort you put into your videos nonetheless. Looking forward to the next one.
can i use it without the chime plug?? I thought i could link it straight into router but it won’t work, not much use if you’ve children and they keep breaking the chime antenna plug
Hi, Im trying to set up the notification up on my phone so when someone comes to my door it will chime/alert me on my phone. Ive tried everything but cannot seem to sus it out. Thanks
I have this doorbell, I’ve recently taken it off the wall to charge it and accidentally set off the tamper alarm and didn’t know how to stop it or how to make sure it didn’t alarm when I took it off the bracket. Wondered if you know how to stop the alarm from going off when I take it off the bracket to charge it?
Essentially it is similar to any outdoor camera / doorbell that I'd you prise it off, it can be stolen. It is just a pin underneath to stop it being pulled off but unless you know how to remove it, it is not obvious.
If the steal the Video Doorbell then it will be useless, as the person who owns it needs to unbind or delete from his account for the video doorbell can be used by the new owner , just like a mobile it just get blocked, so this video bell will be useless for the other person, as it will not let him register same as the Hikvision Video Doorbell security. So it needs to Deregister from the EZVIZ account from previous owners.
Sorry to say, but you missed the issue of the alarm. When you remove the cam fir recharging it sounds the alarm. You didn't explain how to mute the alarm.
My only question: if I already have a traditional intercom wired and I want to upgrade to this one, will it have an option to open the door through the app? or is just to communicate? this is my only concern that I have not found any reviewer talk about? Because I need to open the gate with it, for my kids to get in or a delivery guy to leave the package inside the gate not outside. thanks,,
This whole channel is under rated.

Hello,
Is it possible to have an image on the google nest hub when the doorbell rings at the same time?
Thanks.
Is possible to hard wire?
Can I power it of an existing old doorbell wires (not keen on batteries)? When you turned it around, it looked like 2 wire pins. And what power does it need, low AC, or it's a DC input?
What are the dimensions of the doorbell?
How long does the battery last?
It was very good explanation. Thanks
Thanks for the clear and informative video as will order one on the back of this
Hi, would you say putting on power saving mode good

Добрый день. Поджскажите мне какое расстояние должно быть между звонуом и приемником в розетке.?
17:47 what exactly prevents someone from using a paperclip to steal it ?
Nothing is stopping this happening, bit you would need to know the procedure to remove it as its not obvious
@@lords-electrical But a better locking mechanic to secure the camera would stop it.
Hi what’s the record length time like it motion was detected how long will this video doorbell record for thanks
Wondering if you can use 2 chimes on it. Do you guys know?
Lovely vid thanks
You don't mention that it will only connects to 2.4ghz

Can’t find the special tool to remove cover any ideas ?
If you get a pin or something small to put in the hole, then you should be able to release it.
I setup selecting electronic vs EZVIZ chime how
Do I go back and select the right thing?

There may a option in General setting or set up to disable for this while you taking off the wall for the battery to be charged.

How do you remove it to charge it?
You will need a pin style tool to press underneath to release the doorbell.
Thanks, I’ve tried that and it doesn’t seem to want to move
Thanks
ok video enjoyed it
Very good 👍
Thanks boss 🙏
No problem 😊
Can it be stolen by someone. And is there any protection for it. Perhaps the pin you showed is easily available to anyone?

It is of no use to anyone unless they have the receiver too.

Why does this doorbell keeps going offline?
I just bought it yesterday and i m struggling to make it stay online..goes offline..how can we fix this problem?
Speak to support helpline and if they can't fix it, they will send you another one.
Reliable battery life for unwired installation

That's strange. I haven't had this issue before
I seen people changing to ring because the product is a load of rubbish it’s equivalent to a £40 model
So the criminal can just lift it off the cradle and throw it aside ??
You need a pin to remove it properly
