I am the eldest son of the former owner of this car (I’m briefly in the video helping load it up on the trailer). I have followed this project since Eggleston hauled it from my Dad’s place back to Iowa. I am thrilled to see this completed ride, and I’m sure my Dad would have loved this too. Excellent work!

Thank you! Not sure how much power the 283 has, never dyno'd it to find out. For the cam, it has an edelbrock performer rpm cam kit. Heads are stock double hump. Nothing fancy but runs decent.
Plasma arc is IMO one of the best investments. Second being the TIG with aluminum capabilities. But frankly you can never have to many tools or workspace. Be frugal not cheap. There is a difference....frugal buys the best quality that can be afforded and takes care of it. Cheap just buys crap that will end up uselessly broken in short order.
If y'all had $1 for every square inch of body you massaged, and re-massaged...you'd be a rich man. As a 40 year auto body tech, I can totally appreciate the hours you put in. Baby should be Gold plated.... Bravo and thanks for posting, Well worth watching. 👍👏
