  • Come along with Austin and Heather on their hunt for a real 1934 Ford Pickup! Parked beneath an old burned up oak tree in the middle of an empty field, this project pickup is full of personality and ready to be rescued from the dead. How well does an old hot rod 1934 Ford drive when it's pulled straight out of the dirt? Find out when we start burning gas on this episode of IDAHO HOT RODS.

Couldn't care less what the haters have to say. What a super find and I love the direction your taking this. Strip the rust do the body work and make it beautiful again. There will always be the divided opinion as to what makes or keeps it beautiful. One, it's only original once and you don't change a thing. Two, strip it down fix everything complete body work total restoration. I personally go for number two. I love an old vehicle that is even better looking than the day it was made. New paint all new engine and Trans with all the bells and whistles. It just an opinion of which everyone has one. I can't wait to see the work you've done to this truck. Being from Idaho, I'm going to try to find you guys so I can personally see this and other projects. Then if the chance ever presents itself maybe join in on a recovery. I live in Nampa.

Who cares about whether it's staged or not... that kid has a nice ride there and I congratulate him on his passion for old motor's and I hope he gets years and years of pleasure from his wagon,I smell a hint of jealousy in quite a few of the comments left but you got to hand it to him for owning such a cool ride at such a young age!.

You are one lucky kid to find that type of Truck and be able to know the difference between real American Steel and a Honda piece of crap. I am glad to see young kids as your selves get into the old version of automobiles and trucks. It's a dying breed but someone has to keep it going and I am glad Austin and Heather have done this and have put their heart and soul into this because you need to keep this and pass it along to your children. Raise them like you have been raised so these Treasures will not be lost, or forgotten forever. Keep up the good work and put out more videos like this. Us old Farts grew up with this kind of stuff and we still love it.

I’d be pretty embarrassed to try and pass that off as field find. This was very obviously staged. When you pulled it out there wasnt a dirt spot from where it was sitting and the tires were new and up. You parked it there before the video, tossed some sticks on it, and tucked some grass up against the wheels. Big Oof.

Such a nice truck so please get that pos Chevy engine out of it and do it right. In my eyes no one deserves to have that truck unless they be true to it and keep it Ford all the way. It isn't that hard and really dosnt cost any more than doing a Chevy engine so why half ass a nice truck? Thats just my take on it and I would feel the same if it was a old Chevy. Keeping trucks true to their brand is just how this old boy rolls...

So you would probably have a problem with the gasser guys who put Hemi engines in their Willy's. You know what they say, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.
