Lynsi is one of the few silver spoon heiresses who actually took the time to absorb the industry and the ways of successful business operators and has turned In-N-Out into one of the best companies in the world to work, as well as one of the most true to its original ingredients to success. She’s endured a lot of loss in her life and has handled it with grace. Glad to see her enjoying the comforts of life that go with immense wealth, but only in a manner true to her family values.
First thing, that is a beautifully built car, at 70 years I remember from back when I was young and always thought that the 40/41 Willys was the most attractive car I had ever seen, whether it was the car or truck model. Stone, Woods & Cook come to mind. This young lady just seems to be a down to earth person, that hasn't let her fortune go to her head, what a treat to see that she's carrying on a tradition from her parents bringing her up right. You go girl and keep on keepin on, I think her Dad would be very proud of her and her Mom should definitely be proud to call her daughter. Beautiful car and young lady. 😎
I've worked for the company a little over 6 years now, so that made this video one of the most special by has done and he's had some really cool shows. Just a little view of how down to earth lynsi is. She never promotes anything other than the principles the company was founded on and let's everything else speak for itself. Watching Jay in the past praise INO for being great come full circle with him nerding out with the president was a very cool sight to see. I truly believe if jay ever met Harry (lynsi's dad) they would have became absolute great friends and he could have been a teacher I f guest on his show. Thanks for the awesome video jay
Hey Jay; I just wanted to say that I loved you as a past, current and future standup comedian, the host of the Tonight Show, and as a superior car guy. Although you are a super star, you treat all people with respect and your viewers like they were good friends. I simply love you in what you are doing now with Jay Leno's Garage. Don't stop.... Keep on going and make your fans happy well into your retirement. I love how you know all the major players in The auto industry and how they give you first access to their products. Much respect sir!!!
In N Out is my favorite burger joint. Watching this makes me like it even more. I like how Lynsi noticed that there was something wrong with the car before Jay.
I like how these guys don't edit out the problems they have. Part of owning old cars is always having to fix stuff. It keeps the show ( which could easily get out of hand) down to earth.
She's a "boss", you can tell by her stance and the way she talks. But I'm sure a nice person. She sure love's and misses her dad. Weldone for keeping her dad's dream alive.
Cool hot rod. Made me cry a little during the opening sequence knowing Lynsi had sadly lost her lovely dad and seeing how much love he had for his little girl. God bless the family and may he rest in piece.
The videos of that willys with one of its wheels off the ground driving at an angle makes me happy. I love crazy cars that don't always do what you want them to do in a way that is fun. Soft suspension can be fun sometimes.
Hello again Jay, and TY so much for showing this car. The 41 Willy's is my all-time favorite car. I would take his car above most cars in the world. This particular car is done just perfectly...I am in love! What a modest, lovely, young lady who honors her father in the most special way. She does not let her money cloud her class at all, good for her! TY so much Jay for another joyful episode!
Man the dad episodes of anything get me. My dad died stupid young too like hers. Only 55 years old. We always talked about going to in-and-out burger and hitting Jay Leno's Garage if we ever went out west. I was saving up just waiting on tax returns to come through and surprise him this april. He died last September 3 days after his 55th birthday. I still plan on making the trip, but it just won't be the same without the old man to talk about the cars with. Was so close to making that dream a memory. Life man..
I really never cared about Jay Leno before I found out Jay Leno's Garage, the first thing that connected with me was the fact that, like so many Aspies, he always uses the same clothes in order to prevent choice dilemmas in the morning. And the same watch... since 2009! I really would like to see a video about the watch, because I have all the vintage (1990's) Seiko Kinectic models and I truly treasure them. Another thing that is amazing is the honesty of the videos. He got a flat tire, stopped in the middle of the road and ended the video right there, very simple and very honest. I really can't say nothing about his days at The Tonight Show because I've never seen him doing it but I just love his videos, whether is a classic steam car or the latest Kawasaki.
Thank you Jay for producing such insightful and informative shows that are always enhanced by your personal depth of knowledge and wonderful sense of humor. Because of car enthusiasts like you the hobby grows like wildfire and us "rattle can" restorers maintain our enthusiasm and excitement every time we get to turn a wrench in our garage!
How can you NOT appreciate this girl (woman)? If I could only find one like her! She is smart about business, she knows her cars about as well as Jay--she instantly knew there was a tire problem before Jay did--and she looks and sounds great as well--what a woman! No goofiness/feminism!
There used to be an in-and-out Burger Michigan years ago up by 23 Mile Road and 94 and yes they are a great burger they closed up and it breaks my heart cuz I used to stop and get a burger or bag of burgers once in awhile when I was out that way said that they shut it down

Jay pulling the flat tire trick on the hot CEO of IN and Out burger! Jay Leno, VOICE OF THE COMMON MAN CAR NUT! She has to be one of the most down to earth CEOs I have seen and yeah LOVE her burgers!
Favorite Ride! The amazing 41. And thank you In-N-Out for coming up to Vancouver Canada every yr for our Langley Good Times Cruise in. Best damn burger ever
Excited that In and Out are opening a place in Medford, Oregon in September. Moved to Oregon 8 years from Southern California ago and miss their burgers and fresh meals. Have to drive 3 hours to get there but worth it! Keep it fresh!
First time I've seen a car break down on Jay, where it needs to be towed home. I love the car, though. Seeing the Stone, Woods, and Cook Willys got me into racing, when I was a MUCH younger man!! Keep 'em coming, Jay!!!!!!
Even though I absolutely LOVE this car. . .This is the first time I've watched one of Jay's videos and loved the car's owner more. . .She's not only beautiful, but what a cool person!
I love the Willys.... and Lynsi's '41 coupe is really cool. There aren't many cars that look as good, well, there's a few like the chopped 49 and 50 Mercury and a few others, but the Willys is still one of my favorites. A great car review and interview with Lynsi... and I enjoyed it, at least until the flat tire part... but, it just goes to show that even wealthy car enthusiasts like Jay and Lynsi aren't any different from the rest of us when it comes to having the problems that we all have to face each day. A great episode.
ahhh, 2015. My all time favorite car. First knew of In and Out back in '87 when visiting family in So Cal. One opened up less than a mile away. Its such a hassle to get 'in and out' of i've been there twice. Car is a treat, though.
Mrs. Snyder is awesome, she brings us the best burgers and has a great attitude about a flat. I had to move to Florida from California and I dream about the best burgers in the world at In N Out, last time a visited a couple years ago, that is all I ate for a week except for 2 meals (wedding rehearsal and wedding dinner) I can't wait to taste another Double Double, please come to Florida, and awesome car!
It seems her Mom and Dad raised her well. She held on to a wonderful car and a great way to stay connected with her Father's memory. Oh, and great burgers. I had my first In-N-Out burger only last year.
If you're ever in Las Vegas, go to the In-N-Out just off the 15 freeway and ask for a Jay Leno. All Las Vegas In-N-Out associates (and most others) know Jay likes a hamburger w/ketchup only, as he's a regular there. Glad to see Lynsi using her maiden name, as she's had some bad luck with jerk husbands. Also nice to see Grandma Snyder did such a nice job on the finishing touches of raising Lynsi... she's a great girl, and Esther was indeed a wonderful woman loved by all who mattered.
srercrcr Positive. Lynsi's just like Grandma Snyder, as good a person as you'll ever find. Like my old neighbor used to say, Her picker's broke. Look into the exes and you'll see a common denominator of manipulative jerkdom.
srercrcr Nah, blonde hair runs in my family, so it's common here. And her 'relationship resume' merely shows that she's a down-to-earth girl who offers the benefit of the doubt against better judgement. But you are right on the last part. She's bound to be a prime target for the worst of the worst. Like I said, poor girl's just got a broke picker. I can relate, as most can.
For what it's worth, she is NOT a natural blonde, nor is she down to earth, (17,800 sq foot crib) she is quite good at image control. The battles within In and Out have been incredible, regardless when she is 35, she will OWN 100% of the company. Being the only child of an only child, has it's perks. She does pay $23,000 a month child support to the daddy of her first child, despite the fact she has custody, California divorce laws are meant to screw men, wealthy men, ......and the occasional wealthy woman. She has been very good about pre-nups, so the company hasn't been touched. Her four husbands have been uneducated, career less zeros, apparently she doesn't like competition.
Nice to see a lady owner on this show Jay. Very cool car and lady. Back in the late 60's, early 70's we had Eat-N-Park in the Pittsburgh area that had car hops for the parking lot with mics and speakers for ordering. Lots of guys in there with the hot rods of the day - Camaro, Chevelle, Superbird, Cuda, Etc. Fun times.
Jerry Grant Money is for buying stuff. What does god buy? By the way, my bible is over 55 years old. It was given to me by my Sunday school teacher in 1961.
@@richarddarlington1139 the Bible is much older than that. Yeshua is the Bible. When the Bible said "The Word was with GOD in the beginning; Yeshua Was and is the word. Human beings use money. GOD has wealth including money because he is a King. GOD gives money to people to use whom he thinks he should give the money to. You should not mock GOD and say that he has no money just because You cannot think of a reason.
I'm American (East Coast) my wife is Taiwanese. We have many Taiwanese friends who come to visit - we live in Los Angeles. One of the absolute must-do activities they all want to do is; "IN-N-OUT!!!"
We had a Willys...same year and body sitting in our driveway for years. Dad never built it, sold it for $$$ for other projects. Would love to have seen what it could have looked like. Thanks to Jay and Lynsi for showing me what it could have been...
Love In N Out Burgers, they are the best...Its so cool how you kept Dads passion in American Muscle. Would love to someday meet her and get her autograph.
I seem to recall a bunch of news stories recently "reclusive billioinaire In-N-Out heiress" blah blah blah. Turns out she's running drag cars all over the west coast and seems pretty easy to find. Nice journalism, pricks.
***** What they meant by reclusive is that she refused to do interviews with the media for many years. That's pretty well known. She's just now starting to do things like this on camera, I guess to soften her image. And no, she's not easy to find. People that have tried to set up interviews with her have to go through her assistant and 99% of the time she says no. Also, don't assume that because she does drag races that means she's accessible to the general public
Clint Lunsford The company is valued at $1.1 billion and she becomes the sole owner when she turns 35, which would in fact make her a billionaire. Remember, In-N-Out never went public so nobody else has any kind of investments or ownership in the company. And don't assume she is so put together, she's only 33 and has already been married four times. You have to think someone who's had three failed marriages at that young of age has to have something a little off with them, rather it's just being a hard person to get along with or being a little kooky
coolman949 You make a fair point, but failed marriages happen to anybody. Also, money makes people do bad things, and perhaps some of those ex-husbands turned out to be creeps on the way to the bank.
I love this story Jay ; makes me think of my daughter, who use to crawl under the car with me to try and help. Her first day at school she knew all the fractions.
I was expecting all the comments to be a bunch of people giving the girl grief for the car getting a flat, instead almost all of the comments were very respectful and flattering towards Lyndsay. That's really awesome guys, it's nice to see people being kind on the internet comments section, very refreshing.
On the rich comments : no one is richer then Jay - when you have the cars and bikes and other toys that he has, plus an understanding wife, you truly have everything. Plus he is a very humble person who appreciates what others have done in the industry and always speaks well of their accomplishments.
Am I the only one that was thinking "if I married this woman she might let me borrow this car to go to an In N Out drive thru where they wouldn't charge me because I'm the bosses husband. WOW! A street legal drag racer and a free double double Animal Style with whole grilled onion instead, bun extra toasted, fries extra toasted, and a neopolitan shake: life just doesn't get any better than that!" And she can have whatever she wants: It's on me. Well, actually it's on her, but well you guys get what I mean......
This video makes me hungry for an In and Out Burger... Hannah drive in the rain and the fast car... and a cute blonde... Everybody should go to Southern California one time in their lives and have an In and Out Burger
Peter Scherer I noticed that as well, so whoever is doing the editing for the past few videos needs a big slap in the back of the head before they get fired with all the various issues. At least this one did not have audio issues.
Peter Scherer ya.... i thought this was going to be about a COMPLETELY different car. i wasnt sure what the 41 willies looked like, i remember after i saw the grill of course, but..... theirs a fucking 7 on the door. come on people!
Peter Scherer Yeah. When I first saw the thumbnail I said, "That's not a Willys." The Willys ruled the NHRA's A & B classes back in the late '50's and early '60's. A rare car.
Really cool to see a lady featured on the show who's a petrolhead at heart. To all you haters and negative commentors, take your negativity and put it where the sun aint shining :-)
If there is one man who is truly living the american dream it is jay leno. Thanks for making these videos jay we know you don't do it for the money...just for the passion of motorsports.
Lynsi is beautiful. We’re big fans of In-N-Out in our household and thank you for carrying on your family’s business and legacy with such class and grace. A down to earth SGV girl. God Bless. Thanks for the cool video, Jay!
BlueHokage you guys wanted to take water from fort peck lake... where i live, in montana. 1800 miles of shoreline, 250 feet deep. CA only has 900 miles of coast line.... but its straight and FP lake is curvy. anyway... i bet you guys would not say that desalination plants and no longer too expensive, when you loose millions due to said drought. FP lake is a hydro electric dam, and the water here got so low that we were 2 feet away from shutting off power production due to lack of pressure. it was dropping at 1 inch a day at some times. then we got 164 inches of snow in 2011/12, that melted in half a month, along with CONSTANT rain for 2 months. the record snow was followed by a record flood, but got us out of a record drought. now weather is in the norms. however, the mountains did not get a lot of snow, so the lake will probably drop a little this year. so... now can you see why montana was like hell no? i know it sounds like im ragging on CA.... i really dont have an opinion because ive never been their. but, i do know a lot, not all but a lot.... move here saying "im so tired of CA".... and then try to pass laws turning MT into CA. gun control, hunting restrictions, trying to take public or federal land.... MT has the most public land of any state..... being rude, not stopping to help a broken down motorist. in MT we have at every car we pass, as you might not see another car for 50 miles. also why we stop to make sure they are ok as well.
@@kainhall Bravo❗ Don't let 'em turn Montana into another Ca. The state of the State is why so many are leaving but they let it get that way. By the way, my Dad and Grandfather helped build the Fort Peck dam back in the day when it was a days work for a days pay. Now, in Ca. it seems that a big share of the people work harder to get their government doll then they do at their jobs!
Jay, you're supposed to run out of gas on the first date, but no, you pull the flat tire routine , prematurely . Tell Jeff to tighten up the valve cores now, AAA for effort my man!
Wow this blows me away ! I see these burger joints alot out that way ! It's really a great story one of jay's best episodes yet ! Nothing like a beautiful woman and a fast car !
Just imagine if there was no, very rare, lite rain in Southern California that day. Jay may have been standin on that beast when the tire let go …. ✌🏻🙏 Wicked cool ride. Great episode
I had a girl friend who looked just like she does . I dropped by her house one day unexpectedly and caught her with out all her make up on......ouch I tore that phone # up.
Beautiful car never really c a real one anymore its cool to c a daughter take after her dad and keep his toy around and Jay keeps it real how when a tubbed out car gets a flat your day is done another good show Jay thanks
trisymphony Its the quick release qtr turn fasteners holding the fiberglass front end down, they always do that because they dont hold the shell down tight enough. just enough to keep the shell from flying off when air pressure builds up underneath from picking up speed.
trisymphony I was going to say breast implants but she seems like a nice lass so I won't. Besides, she's a racer and I'm sure she would strip the weight, not add it.
trisymphony It's a classic car, sometimes you just can't get rid of that one body squeak. :P But since this vehicle is pretty much rebuilt head to toe it could be anything from a windshield squeak, door, rollcage, or ANY rubber bushing on the vehicle. Walter Palmer she s hot rich and races cars etc etc WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE ??

Also nice to see Grandma Snyder did such a nice job on the finishing touches of raising Lynsi... she's a great girl, and Esther was indeed a wonderful woman loved by all who mattered.
20alphabet Are you sure it's the husbands that are jerks? Just 33 and FOUR husbands!
srercrcr
Positive. Lynsi's just like Grandma Snyder, as good a person as you'll ever find. Like my old neighbor used to say, Her picker's broke. Look into the exes and you'll see a common denominator of manipulative jerkdom.
20alphabet I think the blonde hair is blinding you. Her relationship resume is horrible. All the wealth and the CEO life makes for a tough challenge.
srercrcr
Nah, blonde hair runs in my family, so it's common here.
I think that I'm in love...it's a nice car too
One thing I love about these shows is the realism. $100,000 plus car and you have a flat tire. Got to love it.
Absolutely beautiful car.
Beautiful woman.
AND she owns a burger company.
It doesn't get any better than that.
Fun times.
I thought people with more money than God are supposed to have BAD taste in cars!? I guess her daddy raised her right.
Nobody has more money than GOD!
Jerry Grant
That's silly. Why does god need money?
@@richarddarlington1139 read the concordance of the Bible. If You read the Bible You will comprehend why GOD has money.
Jerry Grant
Money is for buying stuff.
5:54 Did anyone else notice the Willy?
What Willy, I heard Jay Leno voice I think!!!
We had a Willys...same year and body sitting in our driveway for years. Dad never built it, sold it for $$$ for other projects. Would love to have seen what it could have looked like. Thanks to Jay and Lynsi for showing me what it could have been...
Nice car , good person.
bummer about the flat though , stuff happens and no one got hurt . sounds like a good day.
I was over in Indy last weekend and actually there's an In-N-Out there now. In Fishers, on the north side. Love In-N-Out! (and 41 Willy's!)
beautiful hot rod and very pretty girl love her laugh !
***** Very true. My comment was toward the guy who said that she was "easy to find", which is obviously not accurate
EpiDemic117 They really are talked up a lot. Would be nice if they came to Australia.
You are a good man Mr. Leno…sure enjoyed and appreciate this episode and this families history…
Jay is good people
I love this story Jay ; makes me think of my daughter, who use to crawl under the car with me to try and help. Her first day at school she knew all the fractions.
gotta love livin' in california.
I was expecting all the comments to be a bunch of people giving the girl grief for the car getting a flat, instead almost all of the comments were very respectful and flattering towards Lyndsay. That's really awesome guys, it's nice to see people being kind on the internet comments section, very refreshing.
And she got a hellcat. Boss Lady right there. Go warriors
The legendary in and out burgers . Really like this little clip is good to see everything was keep going on . Thanks Jay
1,000 HP with that tiny wheelbase must be pretty interesting
lol tiny wheelbase it's a willy's not a vega...
Tyer Estes it has a lot to do with it pulling left hard. A foot more it may even it out a bit.
Yeah. That car would give me the Willys.
Right???
Good luck with that one.She has many standing in line I am sure. She is lovely to look at.Now if she only owned a liquor store too.
This video makes me hungry for an In and Out Burger... Hannah drive in the rain and the fast car... and a cute blonde... Everybody should go to Southern California one time in their lives and have an In and Out Burger
JL always does warts an' all reviews of machines, that makes him a true gear head in my book; thanks again.
FYI: Wrong thumbnail, it shows the James Garner car instead.
Peter Scherer I noticed that as well, so whoever is doing the editing for the past few videos needs a big slap in the back of the head before they get fired with all the various issues. At least this one did not have audio issues.
Peter Scherer true
Same! As of now it's still not fixed.
Bring In-N-Out to the east coast
If there is one man who is truly living the american dream it is jay leno. Thanks for making these videos jay we know you don't do it for the money...just for the passion of motorsports.
Beautiful blonde ...Jay ahs all the fun ... Amazing 41 Willies with great history !
Lynsi is beautiful. We’re big fans of In-N-Out in our household and thank you for carrying on your family’s business and legacy with such class and grace. A down to earth SGV girl. God Bless. Thanks for the cool video, Jay!
Raining in LA, world falls apart
mikemoair in my part of California, there is a drought too ;)
BlueHokage you guys wanted to take water from fort peck lake... where i live, in montana.
MT has the most public land of any state..... being rude, not stopping to help a broken down motorist.
in MT we have at every car we pass, as you might not see another car for 50 miles. also why we stop to make sure they are ok as well.
mikemoair the actual video im kinda annoyed that went private on Jay's channel was the Ronin RS211. That insane Lotus. I wonder why it went private.
@@kainhall
Bravo❗ Don't let 'em turn Montana into another Ca. The state of the State is why so many are leaving but they let it get that way.
By the way, my Dad and Grandfather helped build the Fort Peck dam back in the day when it was a days work for a days pay. Now, in Ca. it seems that a big share of the people work harder to get their government doll then they do at their jobs!
another great Jays Garage. thanks all
Anyone know who built their th350?
Usually guys would go Powerglide or TH400 for that power.
NegativeNumbers427 i know a guy with a 8 sec nova using a th250
NegativeNumbers427 I'd take either of those over the th350.
Ander Pendragon plenty of th350 cars running 7s.
It's how they are built
SANIC I didn't say they were bad, it's just that I like to stick with the tried, and true.
NegativeNumbers427 l agree tried tested and proven .sheesh what next a 10 bolt rear ??
The car's chuck full of character, thanks for showin the world Jay :)
Jay, you're supposed to run out of gas on the first date, but no, you pull the flat tire routine , prematurely . Tell Jeff to tighten up the valve cores now, AAA for effort my man!
love in-n-out! ate there a lot when i was in san diego.
she looks nervous as hell with jay driving.
Please bring in and out to the midwest!
,,,,and also to Deefield Bch. Florida :))))))))))))
+Bender Rodriquez yessssss, as a guy from Nebraska, I second this
Eat some BBops double action for now. Best medicine since pre-sliced buns.
can't they have Culvers butter bugers which are much better
J gets the car and the Gal again ….great stuff ..love it keep safe people.
Married four times: means she doesn't pick em' well ....I may have a shot after her next divorce.
mikeallenbrown1 hey l m in for that she has kool cars and more money than l ll ever have ,SOLD
mikeallenbrown1 The fact that you claim she doesn't pick well and because of this you may have a shot, tells us you don't think you're a good pick.
***** Or perhaps someone a little more secure with themselves.
mikeallenbrown1 you know she just like eme in n out of her hahaaa
Wow this blows me away ! I see these burger joints alot out that way ! It's really a great story one of jay's best episodes yet ! Nothing like a beautiful woman and a fast car !
Beautiful car ! ......... Bummer about the flat ....." Burger Time "
Just imagine if there was no, very rare, lite rain in Southern California that day. Jay may have been standin on that beast when the tire let go …. ✌🏻🙏
Wicked cool ride. Great episode
jeez, she is stunning.
A billionaire as well
and she seems down to earth
I had a girl friend who looked just like she does . I dropped by her house one day unexpectedly and caught her with out all her make up on......ouch I tore that phone # up.
eazyd34 meh if that's your standard
jody024 She had a bubbly personalty and she drives a hellcat and other cool cars. Her having money is cool, but I just dig her style.
Beautiful car never really c a real one anymore its cool to c a daughter take after her dad and keep his toy around and Jay keeps it real how when a tubbed out car gets a flat your day is done another good show Jay thanks
Does anyone else hear the constant squeaking when they drive? what is that?
trisymphony Makes it sound like a army tank. XD
trisymphony Its the quick release qtr turn fasteners holding the fiberglass front end down, they always do that because they dont hold the shell down tight enough. just enough to keep the shell from flying off when air pressure builds up underneath from picking up speed.
trisymphony I was going to say breast implants but she seems like a nice lass so I won't. Besides, she's a racer and I'm sure she would strip the weight, not add it.
+1 on the quarter turn fasteners it makes the hood easy to open but they can squeak a lot.
trisymphony It's a classic car, sometimes you just can't get rid of that one body squeak. :P
But since this vehicle is pretty much rebuilt head to toe it could be anything from a windshield squeak, door, rollcage, or ANY rubber bushing on the vehicle. (Nobody can possibly know, they're just guessing.)
