    Adam you are a top man for posting this video. My 2015 BiTurbo had this fault at 20,000 miles and was fixed under warranty. Its happened again at 45,000 miles. My fault is exactly what you describe, and I have whipped off tge sensor, shoved a long piece of wire down the pipe and pulled out loads of black crud. I also pushed a bicycle brake cable down it aswell. I reconnected it all and went for a blast. Initially, the error was still there, but after a few miles it cleared. Doing videos like this is what helps others with similar problems, so well done. Cheers.

    Same problem with my 2016 Renault Trafic on 42000 miles. I had Check Injection System , Check Cruise Control, Check Anti Pollution System and code 0470, Exhaust Pressure Sensor A Circuit on my £14 Ebay code reader. I was a bit doubtful about this fix so went the cheapo route of buying an £11 Chinese copy of the sensor off Ebay. Surprise surprise! Code and warning messages all gone! Absolutely delighted. Fab, just took my sensor off and the bottom bit that sits in the rubber hose had corroded into a mush and blocked the rubber joint hose & top of the metal pipe.... new sensor from eBay and carb cleaner down the metal pipe, and used a cable from a bike brake inner to clean the inside bore.... put back together replaced original clips with stainless jubilee ones 12mm - 9.5mm got rid of fault after clearing codes - took it for a 10-mile blast to regen, which can now happen as orange engine light has gone... sorted!!! cheers Adam :)

    Great video. Thanks for putting it out. My blockage was further down the pipe. Beyond my skills to replace the pipe. Persevered with brake cable in a drill. Found that running drill at high speed cleared it. Took a while though. Pipe appears to be about 9-10” in length so that’s how far you need to be able to get a cable in.

    I’ve had three of these vans, two of them have said the same thing, they seem to be a common fault, thanks for sharing this as the Vauxhall garage I went to in Chislehurst was changing all different parts, telling me that it’s because someone is using cheap adblue (they didn’t have a clue). I removed the sensor and cleaned out the pipe with a bicycle brake cable....works a treat...I have replaced the hose clips with spring hose clips to speed up the process as this seems to be a common fault as I have only done 14k miles since the last repair.

      Update....blocked again.... couldn't clear it with the bicycle brake cable so added a length of tube to the metal pipe and filled it with DPF cleaner...left it to soak over night then attached the brake cable to a cordless drill and slowly drilled through the soot ... emptied a load of DPF cleaner down the pipe and it's cured again...what a crap design .

    Renualt Trafic 2016 sport crew 75k on clock.
    So, I tried a cheap sensor of Amazon (£25ish) and cleaned the pipe with a bike brake cable and rev the balls of it. Nothing really came out. Warning lights where intermittent for a month or so, then stayed on permanently.
    Took it to a Renualt specialist back street garage who agreed after speaking to someone at main dealer that pipe and sensor needed replacing. But he didn’t want to do it as it was ‘a pig of a job’ to get to and remove the pipe.
    In the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to main stealer!
    Part number Sensor £142
    Pipe £103
    Total was £321 plus VAT
    Took half a day to do. (Along with some other work I had done)
    So far, 1 week later, no lights returning.

    I had those problem since van was 6 months old and had ot ever since. The pipe gets clothed every 6 months and so have to clean ot through. Nothing wrong with the sensor. I bet Vauxhall have made a fortune out of this. If the pipe was a bigger diameter I don't think thos would be an issue. No need to change the pipe, just get some sturdy, flexible wire and push ot down the pipe. Don't lose it though!! Your van will throw loads of fault codes once it gets blocked and even go into limp mode. You have been warned.

    Mine was a faulty EGR. Replaced under warranty then the EGR cooler went shortly after it. The tell tale sign of the EGR cooler failing is a whoosing sound under acceleration, like the boy racer cars dump valve. It is a real expensive job.

    Thanks a lot for this upload. Same problem with my Vivaro, though it has only done 20k miles ! The block was so bad i had to use a flexible drill bit adapter and drill out the blockage, absolute nightmare getting it all out. I wonder why this happens and can only assume it is going to get blocked up again. Might be worth while taking the pipe off at service intervals and give it a quick clean to keep it clear. Thanks again.

      Hi Glad my little video is of help to you. That is a very good point. I'm not to sure why they block up or how easy it is to even take the pipe off. Main dealers quotes quite a bit to fit the new one

    • @adamab83
      @adamab83 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adamcooper7677 Yeah the pipe connects to the exhaust manifold, would leave that where it is and just take the rubber pipe at the top off and give it a quick clean with a small pipe brush. I guess if the block was bad enough the whole thing would need to come out. Hope this never happens.

    Hi all, I have the same warning lamp showing up but furthermore I have the issue that when speeding up in different gears, there are some interruptions like missing air or missing fuel inbetween (kind of small pushings). The warning sign did actually appear right after these interruptions. These interruptions are continuing and the sign "check anti pollution system" is lighting up every time. Did one of you guys had the same exprience? Just to be sure that I am not having another problem as the one you explain in your video as you only mention the warning sign. Anyway, I am going to try that sensor exchange and hope the warning sign and "pushing" will dissappear.

      Did you manage to sort the problem my 65 plates the same my sensors clean ? And pipe looks the same ….

    • @motorbikemumblings
      @motorbikemumblings ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thedentons50 yes , my symptoms included no low end boost but fine above2600-2800 rom when it pulled like a train. Turned out to be a thing behind the engine that opens and closes the valve that sends pressure to the turbos, mine was only sending to the large turbo hence only top end boost. Mine was situated behind the engine on the right. Basically open the bonnet and at the back of the engine on the right hand side. Apparently there a couple there's so they'll need checking to find the faulty one ( if you have se same fault) . My garage moved them around until they could identify the faulty one. They happened to have a scrap Renault/Nissan engine in the garage and it had the same parts so the used one off that and cured the fault.
