Another one fixed👍 also with these 1.6 if the anti skid light is slightly illuminated (not full brightness) could need glow plugs. That’s what my Vivaro did. Install new glow plugs and all gone. Thank you jimmy for these videos 👌
I've got check anti pollution system warning on my renault trafic 2017 and done everything I can think of. Won't go away. Codes are DTCC59F87 - Adblue dosing module computer Missing message ...and... UO59F:.87 - invalid data received from nox sensor 1. What should I do next.
You are a legend had a regen done didn’t work as upstream pipe was blocked I unblocked it today took me a hour 😂 then back for a 40 min regen van now drives like new thanks o’rileys autos
Thanks for the info.. I have a 211 Trafic and the Check Anti pollution light comes on for around 4 days then suddenly goes off. It’s done this for nearly 4 weeks now cos that’s how long it takes to book it it for a check over with my local Tenault dealer I even put the DP liquid fluid into the diesel tank when the light was off then next day it came on again. Booked in for Friday 16th February
Well done, AGAIN, Jimmy!! Just keep the videos' coming! I see you're now using the sensor tube to clean the DPF... easier than doing this, under the van!! Great stuff!!!!!
👏 thank you. You need to setup a donation page my man. You saved me a fortune. My van is a 2018 and only 20k miles. I had the light come up and watched your vid. Bought some thin cable from halfords. Although I didn't have a full blockage it was enough to trip the EML. Luckily I have a mityvac gauge and it showed a slow let off in pressure indicating a blockage. 30mins later and some knuckle skin it's all clear. 15miles drive later and the EML light went off. Take a bow my friend, I'd buy you a pint of Guinness if you was local.
I love watching your videos Jimmy. Also, what others think about your videos is none of your business we all love them and it's what builds the customers and sales. Be who you want to be and not what they want to see we want to learn about DPFs, data and soot as we all know the rest. Keep doing what you enjoy and what we all love because them haters will first watch, then hate, then love when they take notes from the PDF king. Soon I think one day you will have your own unit/garage smashing 10 of them a day making 2k daily I can see it now.
Hi jimmy great video have check anti pollution system on renault Trafic 1.6 dci only come on after I serviced it and topped up with Adblu gave the van a treat and now it has given me a headache 😵💫 have cleaned the pipe but had to take it of as it was blocked to hard to wire out anyway cleaned and sorted all back on with new pressure sensor and anti pollution message stays on can clear it with code reader but comes back after 3rd start up the van runs fine and normal with message on screen also adblu level doesn’t seem to drop at all do you think something happened when I topped it right up with adblu have since drained a load out but seems to be not moving from 54 % have you any Idea s for me would be most grateful 🤙
Great video. I bet you haven't dealt with a van like my Renault master. Anti pollution light goes on occasionally with my adblue light on and the spanner.then after a couple of miles goes off. Then it's fine for a couple of weeks then goes back on again .So it would be good to explain why this does it. Take it to the garage saying no fault found on diagnostic and even on .
Hi Jimmy. Doesn’t that pipe go to the exhaust manifold just below where the turbo bolts on? Wouldn’t the launch fluid go into a cylinder if the exhaust valve is sitting open? I need to clean out my pipe too but was worried about pushing fluid down that pipe.
Hi Jimmy I did this on mine but unfortunately the wire snapped and the only thing I could do is push it through the pipe so it's trapped between the manifold and dpf will this cause any problems cheers
Thanks very informative. A friend at a local garage plugged his diagnostic reader in DF887 seemed to be the closest Brake/Accelerator Pedal Positions, Jammed Accelerator Pedal Detected ??? I had the anti pollution fault
I had a strange event today.. 2015 Vivaro 1.6 Biturbo, less than 3000 miles!! I was driving and the "Engine Fault Hazard" message and STOP light illuminated, along with a beeping alarm. I plugged in my cheapo reader and no codes.. I looked underneath and discovered the rubber tubes on the pressure differential valve had rotted away and were lying on the drive in about 50 pieces. The ECU light has not illuminated and I have not had the "Check anti Pollution" message. Is this normal?? I'm hoping replacing the pipes will clear the issue?
Jimmy i could give u something different peugeor partner tepee 2013, changed fuel filter then wont start when warm runs perfect, been in garage 5 days, dont kno whats up with it, getting sync fuel pressure ok
Do you have an engine code? What about the battery, has that been changed in the past or is that still the original? We also have a issue when starting the car in cold, but when turning off start stop (also known as "eco mode" in Citroen), then starting the car, the car starts up, so a old battery for sure. Runs ok when driving it. So maybe the battery if that is what I understand from you. You only seem to have a starting issue at times, right?
@@hadiamrane I think your maybe getting a bit mixed up with Eco mode and the button for disengaging start stop When I took my battery out to charge it today it had a cheap LION calcium battery fitted My Peugeot starts first time in any weather and runs perfect, it just doesn’t start when warm My understanding of Exo mode is the car switches this on to protect a under voltage battery by not allowing the use of radios etc
@@archglencoe8557 Yes, correct. But "eco mode", in modern citroen/peugeot cars have a "eco" light flashing on the dash doing a quick check up to know if start stop is available. This "eco" light is for citroens from 2014 and up. There is a section for this in the owners manuel ;-). So yes, the "eco mode" you are reffering to still exists but they have given it now 2 things: checking if start stop can work and a security measure to turn off things like radio so that the battery doesn't go below a certain level. We also don't have this issue all the time, but when we do, turning off this setting in through the touschreen and then the car turns on. So typical citroen and their electrical issues. I also remember a month ago: the car tried to activate start stop, the "eco" light stayed on but the car wouldn't turn on. ESP keeps going on and off all the time, until we turned off this setting and then we could go. Very strange. So I hope this cleared it up a bit ;-). Back to you: so it doesn't start when warm, right? Do you get a engine light on the dash? What about when plugging in the diagnostic and going to engine or to any other module, do you see a code?
Correct about the Eco mode. I discovered it in my C5 when it broke down in middle winter on a remote hilltop. I had the window open and having a smoke while waiting 6.5 hours for RAC. After 30 minutes radio shut off and windows would not close.
@@archglencoe8557 My comment go missing for some reason, but I try to make it brief this time. Yes, eco mode does shut off things like radio when the battery has a to low of a charge or after 30 or so minutes as standard (according to the manual). But cars after 2014, have a "eco" light flashing on the dash that also accts as a start stop. So before stoping completely, the light flashes a couple of times and then decides to activate it or not, it checks to many things at one like: engine temps, battery voltage, amps, etc. When something isn't right, it doesn't work. So it has two functions, security for you battery but also start stop. When our car attempted a start stop activation when slowing down, the engine wouldn't turn on again, presumably because the battery is to old and has to low of a charge. But the esp ligth kept glitching. After turning the car back on, "eco mode" was off and there was a "eco off" light on the dash that kept on all the time as the ECU knows that start stop isn't available. So I hope this cleared it up a bit. You have a 2013, no idea if there were "e-hdi" engines back then, but "e-hdi" engine, like our 2014 citroen c4 have this start stop system that works when you are driving slower than 10km/h even when you haven't stopt completely. But back to you: you have a issue when the engine is warm, right? What kind of a code do you get on the dash and on the tool when reading it, do you get any at all?

If no underlying faults crop up your DPF should give you no more trouble for a few years, maybe even the lifetime of the car - depending on the car. They self clean as you drive them around, as long as the ECU thinks all is good with the engine (and no other significant faults such as turbo seal leaking oil into exhaust manifold). As soon as any one of a number of faults occurs the self cleaning of the DPF will stop and you'll get a DPF blocked fault within a few hundred miles. The trouble is as this youtube channel highlights, some engines have common faults that occur annoyingly regularly.
