Love watching this video, I often come back to it as not only is it informative but just nice to watch someone fishing with little in the way of technical waffle. Nice net of quality skimmers too, definitely worth rolling out of the sack on a cold winter morning for! Best of luck with the England Feeder Team this year, hopefully the boys will do the job and bring back the gold. All the best Graham. 👍🏼🎣
Nice change of scenery Graham, takes me back to my childhood fishing the Trent and Merseyside Canal at Willington, 150 gudgeon plus me and my pal, all on bronze maggots on a little waggler. 🤙
@@grahamwestfishing7945 we had a spot by an old moored boat just by the bridge in Willington, and an old lady used to bring us tea and cake from her house that’s garden backed onto the towpath, half a pint of maggots between me and my pal, 13 we were, showing my age mate, 40 years ago, keep up the good work mate, hopefully getting my new Preston kit used for the first time next week, I’m tired of looking at it all new and clean, not for long though I’m sure. All the best Graham, cracking new channel matey🤙
Very enjoyable once again Graham.I don,t know if you noticed that when you were mixing your groundbait somebody burgled your swim and chucked a hand grenade in. Then they chucked what looked like bread mash all over your box. Look forward to the next one.
Lol ! That was me getting up and down in the mud off and on my box all day . One of the downsides of doing your own filming . Getting up to adjust the cameras ! Lol ! Thanks for your comments 👍
I fish the Grand Union quite often (Linford section) and have a half decent day. Do you refeed right after a boat passes or let the water settle first ? Great video Mr West 👍👍
Thanks for your comments Mark. It all depends on ...1) wether the boats have gone directly across the line I’m fishing and 2) how many fish I’m catching.. as I don’t feed a ball after every boat passes . If the boat comes past closer to your bank and not directly over the top , there’s a good chance the fish will just drift off slightly rather than disperse . In that scenario, I would have a couple of drop ins first to see if the fish have moved and would feed again accordingly . But I wouldn’t feed immediately after a boat passes , just look at the water for a while and once it calms down , then re feed .
@@grahamwestfishing7945 👍👍 Thank you for your reply. Good info for my next time on the cut. Hopefully will hold a few more fish in my peg when the dreaded boat passes. Once again ... thanks for your time, much appreciated and tight lines Mr West 😊
Great video Graham canals are so underrated these days commercial fishing has taken over. It just feels safer for you and your tackle fishing commercials . Have problems with cyclists in Birmingham riding over your poles on purpose and youth pinching your gear .look forward to your next video very well presented tight lines.

Nice one Graham 👍
The stretch by the Globe pub is normally good for roach and skimmers in the winter too
Pro tip: you can watch series on kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Marcellus Jeremias yea, I have been watching on kaldroStream for years myself :D

Nice day mate
What is the mat, base, you are knocking groundbait up on please,is it a unhooking mat or something,
Hi Paul , sorry for the late reply . It’s an unhooking / catch shot mat , made especially for Sonubaits . They are not for general sale I’m afraid.👍

Thank you for your feedback Michael . There’s so many fish in the canal . It’s great to see a bit more of a resurgence on the canals these days 👍
Great video Graham...that's the peg everyone wants in a league match☝
They have just replaced the lock gates in LB...that explains the work boat
