Overall this was yet again another great General Assembly and one that I was a bit nervous about going into, but pleasantly surprised at how God worked throughout the gathering.

I would have to do a deep dive into your religions history to see where you went wrong.
Your "book of order" certainly guarantees your demise.
Perhaps the original "book of order" is where the near miss first occurred.
I intended to quote a plethora of scripture to prove my point but, sadly, I can't see where Presbyterians actually stand firm on anything scriptural.
It seems you are aligned with catholicism and the lutherans.
You don't appear to have a solid salvation message
It seems you "baptise" infants.
You promote water sprinkling as baptism.
You promote books outside the Bible.
As a Christian looking in, the Presbyterian religion appears to be a business whose main focus is "get as many people sitting on seats as often as possible.
In your defense, you are no different to virtually all "main stream" religions.

I have been a Bible based non denominational Christian for almost 40 years.
God introduced me to the truth back then and I went from an agnostic (ex Anglican) to a Bible believing Christian.
It took a few months, but that's another story!
Since then I have spent countless hours searching for groups that preach the truth of the Gospel.
They are out there but they are small in number and small in size.
Any fellowship that preaches : repent, be baptised, be filled with the Holy Spirit and walk daily in Christ is on the right side of the ledger, scripturally and spiritually speaking.
There is one significant caveat though.
Their message, their preaching and the experience of their members must line up with all scripture.
That simple but reasonable caveat means virtually all youtube evangelists are wrong. All main stream religions are wrong. Obviously the outliers like JW, SDA, Mormons and the eastern religions are wrong.
Jesus left such a simple message for his people to follow.
The majority argued with it then, and nothing has changed!

The letter was a crock for the true Church .

That Pastoral letter was a disaster of cultures making inroad into the Church . CRT , please , EPC is sick and after 27 years with EPC>. I am leaving it with my family .
