Aww that calf cant be very old - it's little legs needed a break. I do love how they surrounded it, they're magnificent creatures. That wasn't a traffic jam it was privilege.

Spike: You even been in one of those "Wonderful" traffic jams? I was in Yellowstone recently and there was one of those wonderful traffic jams in the other lane that had traffic backed up for 15 miles. From before the turn off to the West Gate almost ALL the way to the West Gate. If you know Yellowstone you know how far that is!

@@63bplumb People who have an issue with it shouldn't be in the park. It's Yellowstone, you know what can happen before you even plan the trip to go. Just go to a different park if you don't have the patience to deal with it and ruin it for everyone else.

Only in a society with the vast majority removed from actually living with animals do such sentiments get "liked." Animals are often abandoned by their parents or left to die if they're weak or the runt of the litter, hence why that expression ever came into being. Animal fathers are rarely involved in the life of their offspring. Don't romanticize nature so much. She can be quite brutal.

NOT a smart thing to do with ANY number of bison! REALLY!? These people are invading BISON TERRITORY. THE BISON WERE THERE FIRST, A WAAAY LONG TIME AGO!! They have a right, as one of God's creatures, to live unimpeded by the so-called "higher intelligence" species. As one of those "higher intelligence" species, my take is, I'd rather live with bison than people. I also like dogs, WAAY MORE than people. MANY, MANY PEOPLE ARE STUPID AS FUCK!! What a precious moment! We recently had a very close encounter with these magnificent animals at Antelope Island in Utah. We were sitting in our car when two giant males decided they needed a drink from the puddles that were right next to our vehicle. I sat quietly mesmerized as they lapped at the water. I could hear them breathing just a yard or less away from my window. What an unbelievable experience to be that close to such immense power. 10 minutes I won't ever forget.

Не бойтесь: площадь Йеллоустоуна составляет 3 472 квадратных миль (2 221 766 акров), что делает его больше, чем штаты Род-Айленд и Делавэр вместе взятые.

There are a tiny number of Bison here in the UK but they are to be re established. Baby is young and tired so seemed like a good spot to rest......Why not? It's nice and flat here. Humankind has arrogantly overtaken so much natural land, epitomized here by a bright red man emerging from his truck imagining he can advance this situation through a herd of bison and baby but deep down knowing he was impotent to do anything.........Very wise.

@@Yellowstonewolves Yes, they are to be re established in Kent which is in the south east of England below London. They will be semi wild in a fenced 500 hectare area (too crowded to be allowed to roam free in South east England). They will be managed by the wildlife trust and the Wildwood trust.
