Or simply hanging around possibility that food could become available. The sense of smell is phenomenal compared to human beings. That bear was checking out the availability of food.

*Simone's trust in you with her cubs is a testament to your bond and speaks to the deep level of trust between you two, especially considering how fiercely protective mother bears are.*
it's also a wild animal, what he's doing is so inherently dangerous it's ridiculous, and stupid. At the end of a day, it's still a wild animal, and bears can be notoriously unpredictable, especially when it comes to mamas and they're young. Anyone who thinks this is normal or cute needs to watch the documentary "Grizzly Man" - he did just like this, embeds himself with grizzly bears in Alaska, thinking he is befriending them. They come near him, allow him to come near them, allow him to make physical contact with them, they seem to respond to him as if he is one of their own, just like videos here on this channel. And then one day with no warning or change in demeanor or attitude, the bears eat him. Bears come around thinking it is a good safe source for food, the number one thing they are doing when wandering about is hunting for food. They are wild animals. What this guy is doing isn't amazing or majestic, it is completely stupid and idiotic, and frankly in is endangering the bear. You are conditioning it to come around people, if it approaches other people and something bad happens, authorities will then put the animal down. Shame on you.....
It also speaks to the high level of irresponsibility of the poster. You shouldn't let wild animals be that comfortable or close to your home. You will have a tragedy and the wildlife will suffer also.
This is probably a smart bear. Totally aware that she is doing the approaching so she behaves good. The fact that a female mother bear and her cubs came for a peaceful visit without the momma bear being enraged is nothing short of miraculous...what a treat..that's like getting hit by lighting,or winning the lottery..very rare
It's not quite as weird as youd think. Male bears are known to kill cubs that aren't theirs. Some female bears with cubs will move close to humans and sometimes even hang out pretty close to them because male bears avoid us, and the mama bears see us as less of a threat to their cubs by comparison But fore sure, them getting this close is unusual, and even moreso that they'd return regularly like this.
Black bears arent that aggressive they actually fear us humans a lot. The bears you want to watch out for are grizzlies. Black bears are just big dogs but grizzlies will rip you apart and eat you limb by limb. 😁
No wrong. Wild mother bears stay in close proximity to humans because they scare off male bears. Male bears kill the babies and wait to mate with the females later. This is just a crazy man putting himself in danger. I’m a hunter and a guide for more than 20 years.
@Mark Aspen Black bears absolutely ARE carnivorous.the big problem here is a bear that does not fear people will be strongly attracted to the sweets and fats stored in houses. Once a bear succeeds in eating people food it will continue to go for it and teach the cubs to do the same. As a result, a bear that lacks fear of people will become a serious nusience raiding trash and breaking into homes, often killing pet dogs that attack them. It may get shot by a homeowner or be trapped and relocated very far away.anynwill return anyway and have to be put down. From outside the house, a bear can smell what is in the garbage, freezer, fridge and cabinets. People food is easier to get and more calorie dense than their natural sources. They primarily get calories from vegetable sources or easy animal sources like large fish in shallow water or a carcass of a moose or deer killed by wolves. They rarely kill large prey themselves. They are less defensively aggressive or predatory toward people compared to grizzlies, but on very rare occasions they stalk and eat people.
Are you insane? There is no respect. There are men that have lived with wild bears for decades and they eventually end up killing them. We are not their friends and they have no emotional attachment to us. A hungry grizzly will eat you alive. To a polar bear all humans are just food as their only food is meat. The only reason this bear TOLERATES these humans is because there's a abundance of meat and vegation for it. Do not be confused life is not Disney movie. I'd love to take you on a hunt so you can see how nature really feels about humans. I've been bluffed charged by a black bear twice and the second time I didn't hear her it until it was to late and wouldn't have even had time to shoot if it wasn't a bluff charge. She must have had cubs nearby because black bears generally avoid humans unless their cubs are around. Do not be fooled what you are seeing here is literally the most dangerous time you could ever be around a bear. If the person filmed went outside they'd be mauled in a heartbeat.
@@rickfromhell no, the bear is smart enough to not rip your face off because it knows it can come back for more food later. The problem is when you're not home or when you don't have food to give

@@segalman The Bible teaches that Jesus is not merely someone who is a lot like God, or someone who has a very close walk with God. Rather, Jesus is the Most High God himself. Titus 2:13 says that as Christians we are “looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.” Upon seeing the resurrected Christ, Thomas cried out, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Likewise, the book of Hebrews gives us God the Father’s direct testimony about Christ: “But of the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever" and the gospel of John calls Jesus “the only begotten God” (John 1:18). Another way the Bible teaches that Jesus is God is by showing that he has all of the attributes of God. He knows everything (Matthew 16:21; Luke 11:17; John 4:29), is everywhere (Matthew 18:20; 28:20; Acts 18:10), has all power (Matthew 8:26-27; 28:18; John 11:38-44; Luke 7:14-15; Revelation 1:8), depends on nothing outside of himself for life (John 1:4; 14:6; 8:58), rules over everything (Matthew 28:18; Revelation 1:5; 19:16;), never began to exist and never will cease to exist (John 1:1; 8:58), and is our Creator (Colossians 1:16). In other words, everything that God is, Jesus is. For Jesus is God.

Exactly.
it's also a wild animal, what he's doing is so inherently dangerous it's ridiculous, and stupid.

It's not quite as weird as youd think. Male bears are known to kill cubs that aren't theirs. Some female bears with cubs will move close to humans and sometimes even hang out pretty close to them because male bears avoid us, and the mama bears see us as less of a threat to their cubs by comparison
But fore sure, them getting this close is unusual, and even moreso that they'd return regularly like this.
He probably feeds them, which he shouldn’t…
Black bear mothers w/cubs will typically retreat rather than attack. Other bear types, not so much.
Black bears arent that aggressive they actually fear us humans a lot. The bears you want to watch out for are grizzlies. Black bears are just big dogs but grizzlies will rip you apart and eat you limb by limb. 😁

She was showing her cubs how food looks when its alive and was contemplating mauling that guy
@@AbuHajarAlBugatti Probably not contemplating mauling that guy, but she could definitely smell the contents of his cupboards and refrigerator.
That "thank you" you gave them ❤❤❤
You got a tear for me there, you sir must be an amazing human being!
This is incredibly special. There's a really admirable level of mutual respect you've built with this bear, without any spoken language.
Absolute..
Communication is much more intens without words
@Dill there more to it than food, the bear trusts them. A wild animal might rip your face off immediately after you share your snack with them.

It doesn't really matter if they're comfortable with humans, lots of animals can be. All it will take is one stupid human, one aggitated/sick bear or some combination of the two and an attack will happen. Increasing contact between the two populations will only escelate that possibility.
And it's not even about just being safe for the humans in the area, it's to protect the bears too. Between the two, society will see the human as more valuable, so the bear will have to go. Even if it's bear/human utopia. The risk is always there, being aware of it is the smart thing to do.

She's such a good parent. She lets them know when to stay right by her and when it's ok to look around a little.
For God sake, this situation happens when people invades bears' habitat.
I disagree. She's a terrible mother showing her babies humans are safe and trustworthy.
@@derekbootle8316 she’s….a bear. she doesn’t know any better. she’s probably known that man and his house for awhile, long enough to know it’s safe for her babies. if she’s never had bad contact with humans

I agree with you. This particular human might be safe but that's not the case with all. Bears are animals-they don't have the same reasoning skills as we do. I'm sure they think if this one is safe, they all must be, and that's when they run into trouble.
Omg the tiny little cubs are so precious...that's a proud mama bear right there. That one little one getting into mischief trying to get through the wooden bars is such typical children behaviour😂😂😂
Was quite impressed with how careful the cubs were.
As I read this the cub started shoving it's head into the patio fence 🤣
In the beginning when she stopped to wait for them to catch up with her that's when she gave them the pep talk 😂
They are wild animals, OK?🤦♂️🙄
@@Ujuani68 ok

Wow this man is humble and keeps a safe distance. It’s important to respect wildlife and not let them become too comfortable around human beings. I love how she hangs out in the flowered bush at the end.

What a privilege to have such wildlife on your doorstep...literally!
NOT really, this is highly dangerous situation. a few years ago, in the Catskills of NY a young child was killed by a bear in their own back yard....this looks like there are other homes around. .. what if a young child happened to be out... ? this is like playing with dynamite...
@@alpha-omega2362
Depends on where you are. There are alot of communities that know the difference between a nuisance bear and those bears that are just passing through, and behave accordingly. I grew up with black bears literally in my back yard and they never tried to attack me. They dont normally attack unless something is posing a threat to them or their cubs. In this community it is obvious they know this bear, know her behaviours and treat her with respect. It is human behaviour that is the most threatening because people are stupid and react like idiots when they see wildlife, instead of acting in a calm, respectful manner.
@@aurorasstorm5877 im curious, how difficult is it for someone who never saw a bear un real not to move Quick or run away and is it true you have to make loud noises so that they know where you are. Sorry for my bad english im from croatia
@@mariopejic5534 for any Bear you want to let them know you are there! Black bears are very curious but won’t attack unless provoked. In this video you heard him say “hey I’m here”. The bear knew he was there but didn’t perceive him as a threat. Standing your ground with black bears is not difficult for those of us who see them regularly, but for someone new it’s hard for them not to run! For grizzlies or brown, they have a different temperament and backing away is best.
NOT if you have small children or pets!
So adorable, those little cubs!
She was TOTALLY showing them off. They are amazing and ADORABLE!!!! That was something ONLY to believe if filmed and lived to show it. 💯
She's showing off the wild human she has hand-tamed...."some day kids I'll leave him for you to care for"

@@pauljohnson842 you make it sound like its this guys fault? what is he supposed to do? they just wonder over and walk around. if anything, its good he did nothing to instigate the bear. while yes, it is an issue when humans desensitize wild animals, in some cases its unavoidable due to the invasive nature humans have when it comes to society and expansion

I don't live in a country where there are bears, but I loved to see how they visited your home and garden! Maybe you saw her before and have a bond with that beautiful creature! Her cubs are adorable! 🥰
Truly amazing, the trust and respect the mama bear has with you is incredibly rare. She trusted you enough to bring them up the stairs and on to your porch, she even turned her back to you while her cubs were still behind her. I’m just mesmerized by this entire interaction. She knew you respected her enough to not approach them while she showed her cubs off to you. The only time I seen her get even a tiny bit on guard is when the dog barked, but even then she seemed to instantly relax and move on.
Coolest video I've seen lately. What a joy to have experienced that!
@@marcialussier2467 Please stop acting like you are some sort of bear expert. If that mother bear did not trust whomever was filming this, she would not have brought her cubs up there in the first place. Mother bears do not approach danger, they steer clear of it which is why they tend to attack when surprised. There was no food there and her nose would have told her that, so there was no reason for her to be up there other than to show off her cubs and she was as relaxed as can be, no sign of irritation whatsoever.
