I've been on intermittent fasting since a week & taking one meal a day. That's it. Not taking any snacks or drinks except water during the fasting window. I have also been walking min 20 Kms per day. One week has gone by. I have lost approx 1.5 to 2 Kgs so far. The only mistake I have been doing is not taking enough protein. I will correct this tomorrow onward. Thanks, Dr. Pal. You're indeed a pal in my weight reduction journey.

Thank you Dr Pal. Intermittent fasting has helped me a lot. I don't get acid reflux, acidity problems since I am following IF. Thanks to you. I became greedy and tried 5 hours eating and 19 hours fasting one day. My God!! I went to depression that day thinking of food! That day it was a lesson to me that everything need to be balanced and no extremes. I follow 9 hours eating 15 hours fasting without any difficulty. During eating period I am conscious about what I eat and I sometimes, only sometimes, be liberal and enjoy delicious food, and it's really relishing when we do this sometimes. Thank you Dr Pal for bringing this discipline to our lives. Lots of Love ❤

I am doing IF since past 2.5 months and my eating window is 9:00am -5:00pm. I have lost 10 kgs so far. This is what I eat during my window period :
    1. Two glasses of plain water right after waking up.
    2. Breakfast at 9:00am is 2 Boiled eggs+tea without sugar/ 2 egg omellete/Poha/Idli with chatney
    3. Snack at 11:00am is any fruit of choice.
    4. Lunch at 1:00pm - dal+1 roti+dahi+salad
    5. Dinner is at 5:00pm- 1 roti+ sabzi+ salad.
I make sure I drink 3 L of water everyday.
I make sure to go for a walk in the evening for minimum 30 mins.
I hate working out and also my schedule is very tight since I am a married woman and I go to college.
I have tried everything in the past to lose weight but nothing worked really.
But making these changes in my diet, drinking more water and eating only in eating window has helped a lot. I cannot emphasis what miracle IF does to your body.
If you are someone who has any doubt, I would suggest to just plan your diet and go for it. It will surely work😊
This is working wonders for me and it will work for you as well.
My weight 3 months ago was 83. My current weight is 73kgs.
I will come back and update you guys about my weight after I reach 65.
Thankyou Dr. Pal for posting these informative videos and guiding 🙏❤

I have started Dixit diet plan - eat only two times a day since Jan 1 - my new year resolution. I couldn't follow it for a week in these 40 days. Even then my weight is down by 3 kg - from 68 to 65. I am following the timing 7-11, i.e. first meal of day at 11 am and last meal before 7pm. This gives me 16 hours of fasting every day which is hopefully achieving autophagy. Now after a couple of months, my next step would be 3 days of water fasting every month. I know that's very difficult but will start with just 1 day initially, then 2 and then 3 as I get comfortable with each step. I am actually enjoying this process. I thank doctors like Dr. Dixit and Dr. Pal who are guiding us without expecting anything in return. God Bless You.
And I actually became health conscious because lipid test in December last week showed that I have borderline high Cholesterol and Triglycerides. I searched a lot on YT and finally having everyday a juice of 2 tomatoes, 2 cloves of garlic and ginger. I hope this also helps someone who reads this.

    Couple of questions:
    1. Should we follow the same timing everyday
    2. I eat sometimes at 5:30, some days by 6.30, during weekends by 8 pm. But what I follow is to have 12 he window next morning and break it by drinking one glass of warm water. Is the is right?
    3. Breakfast by 8.30 am, lunch by 1.30 pm, dinner by 6.30 or 6. Is this window fine?

    Hi Dr,
My 20 years of stubborn muscles have started relaxing -Started IMF from Nov 7th - 8.30pm to 7am fasting window, ½ cup coffee during the day 4 to 5 times (coffee addict I am). 1-2 cheat days are there.
I have not done any dieting or fasting, as I will get shivers if I don’t eat on time. Walking, gym, yoga is halfway left attempts so far.
After watching your video, I started to train my brain that I can withstand hunger even for 2 days with my body fat!! Initial 2-3 days in the night it was a bit tough but the water supported me very well. The results are amazing.
I am able to wear my watch, ring, bend my body and touch my feet, stomach pain came down, the list is long…. I stopped taking medicines for my small ailments which were my daily issues.
I just wanted to share this with you and also the people who follow the IMF, as I am benefitting a lot from this. Though I go to bed at 10 pm I don’t get proper sleep that is my only issue now.
As you said in today's video, I felt that the initial 10 hours of fasting could be improved to 12, 14 hours gradually. I am confident that I can reach the 16 hours fasting window soon.
    Thank you, Dr.

I have skipped sugar altogether.. I am fond of coffee so I try to take it without sugar .. limited to three cups during my eating window .. I drink lot of water 2 to 3 litres . I skip carbs limited to less than 50 grams most of the time and try to take protein and low fat foods .. evening before commencing my fast I try to have bowl of fruits with some chicken / or egg white / or fish or paneer … some time I also have spinach soup with my last bite … I am planning to have this 16 hrs fast for next 6 weeeks… I am comfortable with this time and I am feeling much light and I don’t feel hungry at all .. I try to take only water during fasting period … pls advise dr .. your inputs are really motivating … I am trying to incorporate walking 10 thousand steps everyday .. will update you on the same too .. thanks

Not drinking enough water is my mistake.
Worst hydration in latest days, knowing the fact 3 litres of water intake is very important to health.
Being lazy, I should overcome this.

Hello Dr Pal, I am a late joiner to your channel , but now I try to follow each and every video of your channel. I have been doing intermittent fasting from 3-4 months approximately and have lost near to 10-12kgs in this duration. I have seen lot of changes in my metabolism, previously used to face lot of acidity , gastric issue which are miraculously vanished after I started following intermittent fasting. But recently due to some tests conducted for a ligament injury while playing badminton, I discovered that my Uric Acid levels have increased drastically(8.1mg/dL) , it was actually normal 5-6 months back ,confirmed from some old test reports I found on searching. I tried to do some research and came to know that if Electrolytes are not taken in adequate amount(I also do 4-5km jogging every day) it may result in increase of Uric Acid levels for people on intermittent fasting. I have started taking electrolytes. Can you please confirm if I am correct or is it due to some other reason can also lead to such spike in Uric Acid levels? I will again conduct a test to check the uric acid levels in a month time from now, also trying to avoid some food as suggested by the doctor for reducing Uric Acid. Lastly thanks a lot for educating people with all such valuable info. You are doing a great job Dr Pal ❣
