I was somewhat expecting this plottwist to be honest, but the way they did it was still awesome. Also Spoilers: From all the Fixers that took part in this mission I only expected Xichun and maybe her assistent to survive, since we probably need them for Hong Lu´s sibling battle royal in canto 8. The fanghunt office fellas were in over their head, used to hunting Bloodfiends and their bloodbags for sport, low kindred at most - several of them probably not even willing to fight. Sure, they are equipped for it, but they're still used to fighting bloodfiends in the City, not in their home turf, where they outnumber - and overpower - them by an order of magnitude. The fact they fell to THE PARADE makes sense, these lads thought there would be an end to things if they broke through the bloodbags, only to fall to dulcinea's crew. The mooks getting Bloodbagged and disgraced, and Romero barely surviving before getting SLAPPED AWAY by Sansón So cocky and confident, yet they crumble against their first upper kindred

They had EXQUISITE execution of the twist at the end of the W corp event, but then they boosted off of that twist to do a classic trick for suspense, right from the mind of Alfred Hitchcock. We knew the reveal was coming. Dante and Faust knew it was coming. Hong Lu and Sinclair seemed to get a few clues earlier on, but Heathcliff and Ishmael seemed to put it together at just about the last moment before it was revealed. And so, it has been revealed. Not just to all the sinners, but to Don (who we might have to call Sancho real soon). She knows the type of person she's been. She knows the condition her bloodfiend father is in. She knows the rules and taboos she's broken. Most of all, though, she knows the kindred of hers she had just murdered, for the sake of keeping her fixer persona and taking part in the ways of the city. Unlike Heathcliff, she's not immediately distorting next chapter like Heathcliff, but I expect a call from Carmen VERY soon.
at first I was a slight disbeliever in the first try, but as soon as I realized what stakes were being made (the threat to read the kits and probably just Sinclair fanart), I knew there was hope maybe also cuz chain battle exists, I'm like 90% sure that the fight was designed in a way to at least account for some sinner deaths if you aren't using healing egos every 2-3 turns later into the fight, so utilizing a fully decked setup of 12 ids or even just 8-10 leveled ones just makes the fight "easy"
honestly I don't know if it bothers you, but you should really put chat in emote only or something when you're doing boss fights, cause damn was chat trying to backseat you hard as soon as the Dulcinea fight started with "clash her counter first!!!" but if it doesn't bother you then go ahead man, full speed!

I have to say as someone who took BL in against that final boss? Fuck I'm jealous how easy you had it. I had to play my heart out to deal with the fact she was taking like 0.4 damage after the protection was dealt with. Also chat totally carried you to a degree. Fuckers should of just let you make the mistake of ignoring her clashable counter and realize later the problem that comes with the building dot + unstoppable damage.

Most people will never have to deal with Nelly's binds for example, because she dies too quickly. You could argue that's the issue of the game being balanced in the way that it is and I'd agree, but it is what we have
