Hi I’m based in England where we have had the transit since the 1960s . However, these lift kits and other customised bits just really don’t seem to be available here . I run a 2020 2.0 transit double cab tipper , as I’m a landscaper, and since I bought the truck new I’ve often pondered the idea of adding extra ground clearance, but as mine is a twin rear axle (duel wheel) I think you would call it , changing to bigger wheels extra isn’t something easy to get here . I’m amazed at how much you guys in the USA customise and improve usability, maybe I should change businesses and become a importer for this kind of kit .
a great idea just dont over price every think I seen a off road bumper thing for over £4000 looks cool but am sure if you made you own design and sold for about 2500 you would get more customer's materials and laber say a grand so you must make 1500 with out talking the mick 🤷♂️
When ordering drop spindles only what is the difference between standard and heavy duty? My Transit 350 HR XLT is a single rear wheel drive, non dually.😮
Great video.... question? How about lowering from the original high level ? I have the transit connect and I'm planning on upgrading to the 2024 low roof ....the problem I'm facing is the garage door .... I just did the Measurements It will fit but it might be a little tight fit That's what she says 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for sharing your expertise. I'm in long-term planning for my dream RV. I want to keep it to 20' long total. I'm thinking of using a Ford Transit AWD cutaway Long Wheelbase Dually with a 11,000 GVWR, 3.5 Ecoboost. I want to be able to do light off-roading. Fire-roads, beaches, snow, and such. Is AWD worth it? Is there a single-rear-wheel conversion, or will duallys be OK? Will your kits work with a cutaway?
Awesome video! One complaint about the site - I am colorblind (not sure if this directly relates), and I can't read pretty much any of the yellow (or whatever the bright color on your site is) on white text. If I squint just right on the bolder stuff I can sometimes see it. But otherwise it's super difficult. Just something to potentially consider haha. Do love the product thought! Always looks like quality stuff coming out of there from all of the videos I've seen.
What's the max you think you could get on a 2023 Coachmen Cross Trail 21XG on the Ford Transit dually cutaway chassis?? I'm thinking it's best to forego their extreme version (2" lift and bumper) and spend the money on your aftermarket kit. Does Ford's warranty get maintained? Do you have any experience beefing up the frames on these extended transits so that you can actually use that EcoBoost motor to tow 5K trailers?
Hi, you!r video is super helpful. My husband I are converting a 2002 Ford Econoline E350 XLT High Roof van. Now the question is, which lift kit should we use? I'm so overwhelmed :( Thank you and SUBSCRIBED
I have the VC 2" body lift on mine and it rides harsh AF and handles terrible. How does yours feel up front with the added caster/camber adjustment? I'm about ready to sell my 130MR because of how bad it drives.
So, with your "Mojave lift kit" for 90% pavement with 10% off road. What maximum tire size and brand do you recommend? I'm looking for a comfortable ride on the tarmac, not noisy and capable to go on fire roads, maybe some light water crossings. Thank you.
Have you seen anyone offer aftermarket wheel well fender flares to install after cutting out a few inches of the complete fenders to allow 33x12.5” tires to fit with your 2 in AWD lift kit?
Unfortunately the awd Ford transit can only be lifted 2 inches. If you have any other questions Feel free to give us a phone call and speak with one of our sales reps they'd be more then happy to help you out (619) 596-9831
