      She never said he was spying on her, is just that in a van you can easily hear everything that happens outside and the same goes the other way around, it doesn’t feel the same as being in your property bc you’re basically living in public places so you cannot ask for full privacy, also there’s not much space

      @wastrelperv 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm a guy and I'm afraid of some parking lots. There are crazy and hot-headed people out and about. I've been attacked in my local Walmart parking lot three times, twice just sitting in my car. And I don't live in a bad area, my city has one of the lowest crime rates in the area.
      One time during lunch at Walmart a guy threw his McDonald's bag of trash into my car through my open window and tried to open my door and called me a racist. I've literally never seen this guy, he was probably on drugs. That or he took issue with my employment with Walmart as I've had many tell me its a racist place that discriminates and harasses its customers.
      The other time a guy walked up to my car from behind and spooked me when he appeared in the window and tried to get me to lower my window. When I didn't comply beyond a slim gap so we could easier talk he tried to open my door which was locked and then starting kicking and smacking my car. Before walking away yelling further abuse. Then he returned and tried breaking in again.
      And once a customer I had approached at the Self-Checkout stations about not scanning items (literally dozens of items and they were suspicious as all get out looking around like they were being watched, which they were) waited for me after work and tried to pick a fight and hollered things at me. They tried to splash their soda at me too and thre the bottle at me. I just went back inside Walmart and alerted security after realizing they'd probably follow me to my car.
      There are crazy people out there.

Some stay in the same area & work or live in the area. Whether one lives in a house or vehicle, there is always something to fix, negatives, positives, etc. One just needs to weigh the Pros & Cons according to their own personal situation & needs.

      As for things breaking down well that's an skill issue, you have to arrange things properly before going for a drive and make sure furniture/appliances are steady enough by clipping them to the wall or something.

      @@MisguidingWish you can, but you probably prefer to every day.
      the issue is that you need electricity so just any spot doesnt work more than for shorter trips (think about how many everyday appliances you use at home that needs electricity)
      food shops every day is expensive as f, works short term but not long term
      if you don't think things break down regularly even if arranged and maintained properly, it just tells me you've never worked with electricity/machinery. out of 30 machines at my job about 2 a week breaks down despite daily maintenance (about half of them are less than 5 years old). anything with a moving part or electricity easily breaks down which is why we generally only have a 1 year warranty on them.

When others are less afraid, it is better for all concerned. The routine also gives you a sense of regularity.

    Been there when I was young. A great adventure. But like you said. Sometimes a home cooked meal & just a safe place is needed.

    Agree. My wife and I thought full time life in a 40’ Class A motor coach would be a dream way to spend our retirement. HAA! We were wrong. Although we had washer and dryer and solar capability in case the grid wasn’t available, rotational roof satellite for constant access to our 300 channels on DIRECTV. It soon became clear this life was not for us. you see we had camped in tents and trailers for many years leading up to my retirement camping is fun you know you’re just out there for the weekend you meet new friends and then you go home. Full time living in an RV is NOT camping. you don’t meet new friends out there you meet rivals no shortage of people trying to one up you

      Depends because in some countries the storm water drainage is linked to the sewers. In the UK the rainwater from the downpipes goes into the sewerage drains whereas here in Australia we have a separate rainwater system

      Fr! I cant feel any empathy or sympathy for you when you choose to live this way and can opt out at any point, its weird when high income people pick lives like these that are essentially glamorizations of ways soem low income people live without a chouce and then complain about it being difficult. If you enjoy it, good for you. But dont complain about it and expect me to feel bad
