    Bought a Tineco A11 a few years ago on a very good black Friday Deal, about half the price of Dyson's I was looking at. Cleaning wise, it's a very good performer especially on Max although edge cleaning leaves a bit to be desired. No long pet hair to contend with. However, agree with reviewer in that you have to clean the filter often, pretty much after every major vacuum project. Also agree emptying the dust bin is a bit of a messy hassle where you have to reach in with your hand and clean out the debris that doesn't fall out when bin opened. I can't imagine operating a vacuum without a trigger lock though and LED headlamp is nice.

    After much deliberation and Youtubing I chose the Tineco Pure One S12 over the Dyson V11. That is because the Tineco did equally as well in the Vacuum Wars head to head shootouts. In addition to that the Tineco was more elegant and technically advanced then the Dyson because of it's display and its app interface (2020). The Dyson color scheme reminded me of outdoor motor sports . The real tie breaker was that at that price point of (700.00 Frigging Dollars ) the Tineco really does supply you with an overwhelming amount of attachments by comparison which is way more bang for my buck. I unfortunately was new to cordless vacuums then; My only criteria was looking for the best cordless with the most power. Now I have a good idea of what matters to me most. It has been a couple years and this is my raw unfiltered opinion. None of em clean as well as a good ole Hoover upright and they really ain't worth $700 Buck-a-Ronies Period. But if your primary concern is convenience and ease of use well... that too is a mixed bag. My Tineco resided in its box for a year before It finally found a permanent spot. I had to make a station for it. This entailed running a power outlet into the coat closet and mounting the vacuum caddy on the wall in there out of sight. Otherwise that thing just lays all in the way when you are not using it. Besides that it must be handled with care and it is very risky to let your kids or anyone else use a $700.00 appliance it without being trained first. The risk comes from the fact I can't stand up by itself and so the tendency is to lean it against a wall. But if and when it gets knocked over the plastic is going to crack for sure. You must always be aware how and where you are setting it down when you have it out for cleaning . As far the actual vacuuming work goes, they just don't pick up things sometimes, and if you manage to pick something difficult up it is not unusual to see it left in a small pile when you raise the head off the floor. In my experience these vacuums really shine at cleaning Hardwood Floors and that's it! All the other little gadgets and attachments are a pain to use honestly. If you think you are going to do some real total house cleaning forget about it because those canisters and filters are only suited for small messes. Ironically sometimes its hardly worth the effort use the vac when you can grab a broom . its easier. One last observation. I also have a Ryobi hand held vac and this thing gets way more use in my house for small jobs. Like the stairs and stuff. It is quick and powerful and you can put a serious battery on it as well . I grab that thing off the desk and never leave my chair in order to suck up some potato chips crumbs or dust clumps out of the corner. I do most every small pick up job with my ready for use handheld. The only thing my Tineco comes in handy for is my hardwood floors. OH YES! and Tineco durability over the long haul is in question. I had a problem with the suction roller head after one month but it was replaced under warren tee. Now I am having a issue with the vacuum motor shutting off and I have barely put any wear on my machine to speak of. My advice is to skip the expensive stick vacs and get a nice $180 corded vacuum along with a $50 handheld vac.

      I found that cordless vacuums don’t really compare to corded vacs. I have a Miele, Shark upright, and a shark stick. I also have children and two dogs. The shark upright is okay.. the shark stick with the led light so you can see what’s on the floor but doesn’t pick up things such as crumbs from my sons or dog hair as well. The Miele beats them all but is a pain to lug around sometimes but you can tell the difference of the cleanliness of the floors.

      Yeah my Tineco went back because stuff fell out. I ended up with a refurbished Dyson V10 direct from Dyson for $250. It doesn't have this problem and can really be used instead of a corded vac.

    The led light on the Tineco S12 is way better than the Dyson green light all day every day! In the video you used a different vacuum (not a Tineco) to show the white led light? How is that a good comparison? The light is something I never imagined I would need or care about on a vacuum but it makes a huge difference even during the day. Also, when you were showing the light, you were far away from the wall with the Dyson and with the other vacuum you were close to the wall making the light seem blinding. Which totally isn't the case. I have used both and I think the Tineco is better. The 2 batteries that Tineco come with are a total game changer, I don't have time to wait for the Dyson to charge in the middle of cleaning the house. There are also slight differences like it being quieter and having a white light that make me go for it more often. Dyson is still a great vacuum, hence the reason they are being compared constantly.

    Saying hello in January 2024. About 3 months ago I purchased the latest Dyson V15 Detect in the USA on a Costco sale. I just love the LASER detection of dust and dirt on hard floors which is included in the yellow-swirl hard floor brush. Suction is excellent. What makes me anxious is when I EMPTY the vacuum into my trash bin. Well, dust flies around when I do so. In that way the Oreck with its built-in disposable filter bag is great; no flying dust. So now when I empty the Dyson's canister into my trash, I make sure it is way down into the trash bag before I open it. I like the HEPA filter at the top of the vacuum that can be gently washed.
    Hmmm. I just got an idea. The dust collector in the Dyson is washable, so the next time I empty, I will DIP IT INTO a bucket of water which I will then empty into the toilet. What do you think? :)

    dyson might be pricey but it's the best by a long shot. Smaller, more powerful motor allows them to fit in a bigger battery while weighing less than the competitors. Cleaning and filtering is also best in class.

    • @eurekarx2048
      @eurekarx2048 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hmm not really powerful motor or better cleaning actrually, if you look at the price points the numbers are not that far off. On the aspect of motor, usually dyson competitors have better KPA of suction power and while cleaning efficiency might be less, the largest difference I saw was a 97% for a dyson while 94% for a competitor.

    Dyson is better by far. I own both. The tineco's are a knock-off and they don't have the quality or engineering near as good as the dysons are. They are lighter and good for quick cleans only imo. I think a lot of these reviews forget the one reason dyson got into the vacuum market in the first place.....engineering a vacuum that doesn't lose suction because of bags and filters clogging quickly. One problem with tineco's is that pre filter in the bottom. You use your vacuum to clean, it plugs up, then you have to clean your vacuum. It loses a lot of suction when that filter gets dirty and you will find yourself needing to clean it every second or third time using the tineco. And its messy to clean. You will want to remove it outside as fine dust spills out all over when you remove it. Hence why I feel they are good for quick (light) cleans only.
    Dyson has filters as well but you dont have to clean those near as often. More like months in between. And they dont lose suction. They are very powerful and continue picking up dirt very well even after weeks of cleaning without having to clean the filters.
    There are a couple things things Dyson in all their wisdom cant figure out though.....putting a light on the powerhead (yes they have a laser but its not the same), and put a trigger lock or a button to turn on the machine so your finger doesnt get sore. (they are starting to do this on a couple machines now) I have no idea why they didn't jump on the lighted powerheads a long time ago.....Thumbs up for tineco on that one for sure.
    Most reviews show stats on brand new machines picking up large debrit from floors and carpet. Let's suck up a cup of flour and some fine dust, empty the bins as needed, and then lets see the stats on suction, dyson vs the others. I'm betting they will be quite different.
    I'm sure all the tineco owners know exactly what I'm saying here. I know because I thought I could save a few bucks and get a machine equal to a dyson so I bought them too. After using them for a week I realized that I just bought an inferior vacuum. Plain and simple.
    It isn't really suction that matters anyway its air flow. When the filters plug up guess what? You dont have any air flow. Thats the whole engineering point behind dyson and it works. Thankfully they also have very good quality materials and motors to go along with it.
    I still use my tineco, but its just for small, quick pick ups in the laundry room where it resides. My dyson v11 is the go to machine for cleaning the house, vehicles, etc.

      I don't even mind the trigger on the Dyson. I find I'm always switching between my right hand and left when vacuuming and it takes no pressure to hold down the trigger. I'm sure it also saves battery life. The only time I find it to be a pain is if you use it with the flex hose for things like the car.

      Well, for me both are crap. Dyson V15 did not want to turn on after 1 months, and my older Tineco V12 did break at the connection between the shaft and the dustbin, which is suffering the most stress. On the other hand the accessories of Tineco seem to be of higher quality plastic than Dyson, Dyson is creaking and behaves like it's breaking appart every time I bump into something.

    • @helenjohnson7583
      @helenjohnson7583 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tebitan3780 The Dyson is (mostly) made of a specific type of plastic that has some flex to it. That helps prevent breakage. The machine is going to be bumped & torqued and generally abused. I would say its because Dyson`s Cyclonic seperation System ist the leading on the market! Tineco are great but they dont offer a cyclonic seperator besides the "big" one which is represented by the dustbin itself. The fine dust is kept in the pre-motor filter, so cleaning it with the other filter installed in the cleaning tool will clog the new filter since the fine dirt will not get cought by the big dustbin cyclone.
