- We challenged chefs of three different skill levels - amateur Desi, home cook Emily, and professional chef Saúl Montiel from Cantina Rooftop in New York - to make us their best chips and queso dip. Once each level of chef had presented their creations, we asked expert food scientist Rose to explain the choices each made along the way. Which chips and queso are you bringing to the function?

I would eat all of these. The way he tapped the microwave had me laughing, but seriously I like him keeping it real. Also notorious ketchup Emily being level 2 is such character development. And Saul of course is the best. Like wow.
I mean I knew Emily and Saul were going to be great, but Desi is a nice addition to this. You and me, Desi. That's how I do chips & queso.
I had chef Saul’s chips and queso at his restaurant last year!! ❤ he was a really nice guy, we were lucky enough to run into him outside the building as he was on his way out.
Then you tasted a real Mexican dish 100%... I'm Mexican, born, raised and living in Mexico. And he's one of the few who keeps his mexicanity intact. Hope you enjoyed it.

Yeah she went through a proper character overhaul with the Level 2.
I've noticed improvement over the last year or so as well.
She leveled up! Fun fact... the last time I leveled up was by destroying a robot tyrannorsaur. (It MAY have been in a videogame... I forget the exact details.) I'd like to think that Emily did something similar for her level-up. Anyway, however it happened, congratulations Emily!

Few months ago, boneless wings episode on four levels. That was her first lvl 2 chef video.

I love Rotel dip more than almost anything. 😅 it’s such a treat. I do mine in the crock pot though after cooking the meat on the stove.

I think Epicurious is my new Sitcom. We have the lovely Emily that had such character development over the years, uncle Saul who knows how to keep chill even in stressful situations and will always bring something absolutely delicious to the table. And then there is Desi- the bachelor on who's trying to make something delicious. We want to look down on him to but we can't 'cause we want it to gobble his stuff down like a drunken college student too much:)
