Duncan's a no-nonsense guy. Some people he takes a dislike to, some business ideas he doesn't like, and if the entrepreneur's being evasive or the numbers don't add up, he wastes no time in going out. But the flip side of thtat is he has a lot of time for honest, hardworking people with decent ideas, especially young people, and will come to their defence if he feels other dragons are bullying them or trrying to hustle them into unfair deals. He was even relatively patient with Derek of flow signals fame, who seemed like a decent and well-meaning, if hopeless, person. For a while anyway.

He just came into conflict with Duncan who was knocking his offer and then she did make one really bad mistake by asking them what they do. She should know about them beforehand. I was really surprised she asked that.

I remember meeting this girl near Rhayader at a falconry country show. She was with a guy who seemed to me an unsavoury character. Following year I met her & her new partner, a nice, genuine guy. Enough said! I hope she's doing well & happy with her life!

Either way, 50,000 as a silent partner was a steal, even if it does take a few years to recoup - specific businesses like this will always earn, just perhaps not as much as a regular business.
