Nope, when Duncan bought 79% of that music label for £50,000 and later called it Bannatyne Records, *that* was an ego trip.

Secondly it's 12 weeks shelf life. You're not buying it on the first day after production. The reason the 'big players' in a space don't tend to make a product like this is that it competes with their own existing products that have a higher profit margin. It has nothing to do with consumer demand - and exactly why we need businesses like this thinking about things other than perpetual financial growth.

The reasons why fresh Indian sauces are not stocked up on super markets :
People love making curries and to play with spices and herbs trying to create their very own recipe or recreate a traditional recipe but with a twist.
If they feel like eating curry but don't feel like cooking, they order a take away from their favourite Indian place.
They use jars of curry to store I'm the cupboard to use as emergency food to cook maybe for the kids after a hard day at work or just simply to use as quick meal. So shelflife is very important.

13:30 Deal agreed and Vini offers her hand to Piers for a handshake. But Piers is determined that he's gonna get more than just a handshake for his £50K investment and so he also goes in for the body to body hug and, as he presses his body against hers, she's left in no doubt as to the type of injection that he plans to bring to her business..

its hard for me to say without the business experience, but we hear alot about supermarket shelves, being very competitive, and yet when you go to a supermarket, they have an Argos in them, they have shelving that is more of a visual display, than the standard racks. Like so much of retail these ideas, the idea there is a premium attached to shelf space, is fading.

These two looked not just super emotionally invested (the wife based the product on her own heritage and is clearly super distraught about the thought of giving it away), but super professional and capable as well. I'd invest in them based on that personal connection to the product alone, I know that they're going to pour every ounce of strength they've got into it.
