    Heck yeah! An LTZ! What a score! Looks nice! Just needs a little cleaning and TLC. I agree with your wife. I'd keep that one. It got decent miles and is top of the line. On the bumper you might consider buying and painting your own. If you have around the same amount with buying the bumper and the equipment, then you can repaint anything else in future projects. I ordered a pre-painted bumper for an Acura project it was a pearl white. I gave them the paint code When the bumper came it was like 3 shades off. I went that route because the paint was $108 a quart. But from now on I'll just paint my own. Looking forward to your future videos on this build! Take care man.

    I haven't had to drop an impala trans yet, but i dropped a 4t45e out of an alero on jack stands. I set the car up about 2 feet in the air dropped the sub frame pulled the trans using a normal jack but I made a platform out of 2x6 lumber dropped the jack down then jacked the car up another 6 inches in clear the trans and pulled it out of the drivers side foot well. And i installed it in the same manner

    i m looking for the speed sensor on the transmission chev impala ltz 3.6

      The vehicle gets speed info from each wheel via the abs/speed sensor but there is an internal sensor in the TCM which is internal to the transmission. The TCM lives behind the front case of the trans. You can see the wiring harness plugged into it.

    My transmission went out in my 2008 Impala at 255 thousand miles. I'm going to try to rebuild it or change it myself 😱🤣

      For a rebuilt transmission, your best bet is www.streetsmarttransmission.com The one for the car in this video was $1600 with no core charge as long as it was returned in 30 days or less and it comes with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty.

    You don't really need reverse or anything other than two forward speeds anyway. Just tell people to allow an extra hour or two for you to arrive.

      If I just cut a hole in the floor boards I can just do it Flintstones style! No transmission needed! Think of the profit margin on that!

    This video needs a new title. This is not a transmission replacement video. Waste of time, luckily I skipped through and only wasted about 60 seconds of my life.

    Just get rid of the car and get a new one. The transmission on these chevys will start having solenoid issues ever 30k miles

    Nice. Man, 550 for a bumper cover would be too rich for me. I’ve had pretty good luck with the plastic “welding” strip and a pencil soldering iron to more or less braze cracks like that front and back. Lots of good TH-cam videos to check out. Some bumper bite filler and paint it up.

    • @resurrectionautorebuilders8465
      @resurrectionautorebuilders8465  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thought about doing that as well. Blending paint shouldn't be an issue on such a small area. Would definitely be the cheapest way to go. And if it ends up looking like crap, I don't have that much invested in the loss.
