  • Art2Life.com - There is something so powerful about disruption. Challenging the status quo is a message in and of itself, but when you apply that to art…it simply transcends. Meet author, artist, and disruption curator John Seed. John has written two books on disruption, with the second book chronicling an entire movement happening in the art world right now. Join us for a conversation about John’s life and career, disruptive realism, creative advice, and a sneak peek into the artists John profiled for his upcoming book.

Thank you - it's been a while since I have painted and through both of your words, I feel the loss of that as a way to understand myself as I have changed. I have sculpted mainly as a distraction from the huge stresses of homelessness and transitional housing and bullying and intimidation that goes on for those at the bottom but painting has felt a reach too far. But I feel inspired by what you have both been speaking about and hope to change things so I can focus on painting. Even here I have a roof and some time so I can begin.

This “turn over” idea pisses me off.
A collector collects art, not for its beauty, but to make money with little regard to the art or the artist.
For me it is a part of what is wrong in our culture.
    Such an insult .
