Excellent interview, insightful questions, steady pace, lots of time for the artist to respond. Respectful & expertly done. Thank you, learnt so much. Please do more.
Love this guy so much. ❤ So good to hear someone talk about their art and be so real and down to earth. Been contemplating an artist statement with dread, I might add, but now I'm feeling it can just be real and not all the fru fru added. But enough about my thi king... I love the work of Michael Shemchuk,, and I could gaze at it all day. The surfaces look luscious even on my phone. Amazing work, just stunning.❤ I would love to see it in person someday.
Excellent, honest, and a perfect way to begin my day. Using every material and tool to make art is inspiring, so good to get one's hands dirty in the studio. Great sharing. Thank you.
So pleased I stumbled onto your YT channel and introduced me to Michael Shemchuk's work. It is a knockout! Look forward to seeing more on your site. Thank you.
great conversation. Mr. Shemchuk doesn't overuse his words and never says something decorative. He can either say something or not say anything. a lot more of that kind of talk is needed in art these days.
it’s always interesting to hear the process of an artist when they create. i love what you’re doing here! looking forward to seeing more 💗 also want to say how much i appreciate this artist’s work. he states that he doesn’t try to assign feelings to his pieces but there’s substantial energy that his art emits. it’s a natural imprinting, it seems. i felt a sense of overwhelm (in the best way) when he started talking about his experience with encountering a wall. there’s something so remarkably beautiful about seeing what no one else can and bringing it to life.
The YT algorithm sent me here and I'm happy to have watched!
Thank you fro letting us know.
