If you love me, keep my commandments...Jesus says.
DO U KEEP HIS COMMMANDMENTS ? Does Jesus Christ ever .... UN ...REDEEM HIS OWN AFTER HE ...HAS.. REDEEMED THEM ? Can a born again Christian EVER become un born again ? OSAS is the GOSPEL
@@101life9 it means that when you are in love with Jesus you will end up keeping the commandments. Remember the time when you were in love? You follow the heartbeat of love. A man who is deeply in love with his spouse does not think of committing adultery.

Did my comment give you a doubt that I didn't understand?
Jesse Martinez is literally doing God's work...... I'm so grateful I found this channel !!! Thanks so much !!!
Thanks for this video and a reminder that we are saved by faith alone not of our works. Our works should come from our faith!
Thanks, I am learning a lot from your channel. I thank the lord for my salvation that is secure in him forever, I place my faith in him I feel peace. Thank you, Jesus.
I adhered deeply in Calvinism and it was really suffocating, I thank God for using people like you pastor Jesse to enlighten us,.. One person that I thank God for also using is the Channel Onorato Diamante.. those who are reading this comment, I also recommend that channel a lot.. thanks
Lol how free grace can you get?

Ill tell you. I was previously one of them who would have said "i did this and that in your name." But that overwhelmed me with anxiety because i realized i was not good enough. I could never do enough good to feel like god was happy with me. I think this is why jesus said we need to be humble. Because those who are not humble, actually believe they are good enough to please God.
Two men went up to the temple to pray....(LUKE 18:10)
The key to the passage is how you define “iniquity”. The Greek word Anomous means “without law”. The law He is referring to is Torah.
The people that do the Fathers will are obeying the Torah commandments. This fits perfectly with Matthew 5:17-20. You have to have faith in YeShua and keep the commandments for eternal life (Matt 19:16-17).
This is why He never knew them.
1 John 2:4 (KJV)
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him
@georgedinar4169 so, you think we can keep every single law of Torah? What? Some 613? 615 laws? If you say no, then you are kinda contradictive to the bible because the bible says the law requires absolute perfection. If you say yes, you are either a hypocrite or liar because it is impossible to keep EVERY SINGLE LAW. Do you know the point of the 10 commandments and law? The entire purpose it was given to us?
@ Why would the Creator impose a burden on us we are unable to keep? Have you ever read the 613 Commandments? Most are not applicable. They are for groups of people men, women, priests, farmers etc. You have been brainwashed into conflating the written Torah with the Oral law instituted by the Pharisees. They had 1500 dos and don’ts on the Sabbath alone. They made the written law a burden with their traditions. Messiah came and reinstated the simplicity of the written law.
If you err, 1 John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If you don’t keep/acknowledge the rules of the kingdom you will be outside the gates weeping and gnashing your teeth.
Revelation 22:14 (KJV) Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Matthew 5:19 (KJV) Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What "good works" are you doing that denonstrate that your faith is "true"?
@thinkerj That's not for me to say. But any good that I do is accomplished by the outworking of the indwelling Holy Spirit. " For it is God who works in you both to will to and to do according to His good pleasure. " Philippians 2:13
I pray the Lord blesses your channel and grows it exponentially!
Beautifully done!
I always camped on the "I never knew you", and you just blew me away with the part I skim over. The will of the Father is to "believe in the one whom HE sent" Jesus, yes!!!!
Wow, overwhelmingly good!!!!!!
And just remember that when Jesus started that WHOLE teaching back in verse 15, he was referring SPECIFICALLY to false prophets.
Wow, what a great message. Keep up the good work
Always blows me away how upside calvanists are when they site Matthew 7:21-23 when it cleary condemns their salvation doctrine.
They have to make the scriptures fit their point of view. It can mean what it really means. For them, if it falls outside TULIP, then it needs to be squeezed back in…

@@BibleLineJesus said “these signs will follow them that BELIEVE--in my name they will cast out demons.” So how can these not be believers who are saying they casted out demons in His name?

Exactly they pointed to their works! I also point out a lot of cult like denominations do not believe Jesus is God like Mormons and Jehovah witness they speak of Jesus but don’t believe who He is! But others believe their works save them!

The Devils definitely working overtime to lead as many souls to Hell with his False Gospel/Bad News to get people to trust in their Works to get them to Heaven.
Wow, this was so helpful. I find myself continually struggling with this passage wondering if it means I'll lose my salvation. It is SO easy to fall into the trap of seeking our own righteousness by works, one I especially struggle with as I'm a bit of a "perfectionist" type of personality. I'm regularly running myself into a wall trying to be good enough; it's hard to get out of your own way! 😅
Thankfully, Jesus continues to patiently meet me there and lead me back to the truth.
You can lose your salvation, read Revelation 3:5. How can someone's name be blotted out from the book of life if it was never there in the first place?
Read Romans 11:17-24, notice verse 22?
Scripture is clear that the law still stands and Yahushua Himself said so. Keeping the law is obedience, not a works based salvation. We can't earn our salvation by keeping the law because we have all broken them so we need Yahushua for grace and salvation. Through Yahushua, we can avoid the curse of the law which is the penalty of death for breaking the law.
Great job on a great passage of scripture brother Jessie!
God bless! ♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏

The passags in Matthew 7 parallel beautifully with Isaiah 64:6!
Isaiah 64:6 - But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Jesus tells them they are workers of iniquity. They were trusting in their own righteousness and never once placed their faith in Him alone to save them.
You gained a new subscriber. Keep preaching the Gospel brother.
I’m grieved and hurt i was just called a wolf so I started to read about false teachers .. and came to this video . I was called a wolf by someone who said God said I was wolf in sheep clothing .
They were mad I told them they were being self righteous by condemning a teenager and not giving them the gospel and they even went on to say I thank God I’m not like that I thank God I wasn’t like that at my young years . Immediately the story of the Pharisee and tax collector came to mind and I in a very gentle way tried to point out their error . They than a day later said The Lord said I’m a wolf to her .
I started to examine myself again to make sure I’m saved .
I’m sorry about that rough experience. That’s not really beneficial dialogue at all, especially since you’re seeking answers.
You don’t have to examine yourself to see if you are saved. The only way to be saved is to believe that Jesus Christ died for all your sin, was buried and is risen again. He paid for all your sins. Do you believe it?
You’re saved in that moment. Nothing can ever take away your eternal life from the moment you believed in Christ. See John 3:15-18, Eph. 1:12-14, and John 5:24.
Examining is for a different purpose. I know I’m saved since I believed. See 1 John 5:10-13.

Gaslighting
Jesus took my sin with Him to the cross. He paid the penalty for me. "It is finished." My obedience to the law is out of love and thanks to Jesus for saving me. It is not perfect and adds NOTHING to my salvation.
Still Messiah rejected those who thought they were saved because they did not keep God's Law. The same Law that Messiah told us to keep in Matthew 5:17-19. The same Law He expounded on right after He told us to keep it. The same Law that so called believers were not keeping. This is all found in the Sermon on the Mount. There is no need to look up other verses to try to explain. Messiah was very clear and concise in what He said. He does not need anyone to clarify it for it is crystal clear until someone pollutes what He said, making it mean something else entirely.
@@danielnelson9411Daniel, you ALWAYS have to look up other verses to try to explain! That’s the name of the game when you study scripture!
Concerning any particular subject in the Bible, it’s always best to get the whole council of God.
@@danielnelson9411Yes, if you love Jesus you'll keep his COMMANDMENTS, if you keep his COMMANDMENTS, then that will automatically lead to you believing in him. Have to live a life that is acceptable to God to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. Doesn't see any other way
@fuvjvjchxhc7063 ya see that's not fully true and that's not grace. If God justifies a person then without fail, that person will produce fruit that bears witness to his/her salvation. Some have called it Lordship Salvation; and some in the church have demonized this category because of liberal theologians, same with calvinism.
The contrary view is often called easy believism, which is very man-centered.
The crux of the matter is that a follower of Christ WILL produce good works because they have been given a new nature. They will live in a manner that is pleasing to God, not to gain or keep salvation, but because they have Christ.
@jeffreypaulross9767
Yes, you have to put scripture together properly to get the true meaning. And, One's understanding of what Paul says must line up with what Messiah said. Messiah is the chief cornerstone. Paul is not. Paul is misunderstood by those who put him as the chief cornerstone by trying to make what Messiah said line up with Paul. What Paul said needs to be made to line up with what Messiah said.
Some people seem rich because they have a nice home and drive a nice car yet they have insurmountable debt. Some people seem saved because they show an outward righteousness, yet they have never believed in Christ and are therefore still going to be judged by their own insufficient works unless they repent and believe in Him.
Thank you for the easy explanation of Matthew 7!
WOW!!!!! So clearly and eloquently delivered!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Pastor, may you and your family be blessed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! This is the second clip I watch from your channel, extremely simple and true Word. Keep up the good work. Before, I was constantly afraid that I would lose my salvation because I sin every day - whether I look carnally, say something I shouldn't or just get angry or think something wrong. This paranoid fear cannot be of Heaven. Greetings from Bulgaria!
#bibleline thank you for explaining this verse to me. Whenever I have read it or heard it mentioned in services without indepth explanation it has made me nervous
Matt 7:21-23 continues with a “therefore”. Consequently, you should study the following parable in context with the preceding and wise up. 😮
I believe that Luke explains this very well especially when those who are persecuting those who simply believes and places their faith Solely on Jesus Christ for their Salvation.
Lets look at The Word of GOD says In
Luke 18:9-14
New Living Translation
Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector
9 Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: 10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer[a]: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people-cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
" humbling ourselves" as a sinner needing a Savior Jesus Christ for Salvation and for forgiveness of our sins not in what we can do to save ourselves but to look to Jesus and believe on Him to be saved that is real repentance to come from unbelief to believing in Jesus Christ for Salvation and not proud and arrogant with prideful and self righteousness. Only Jesus Christ can Justify a sinner not ourselves or anyone else can.
Those who doesn't believe Solely on Jesus Christ for Salvation is condemned already.
Right on. Thank you!

First off great job.! Matt 7: 21-23. It’s important for believers to start at verse 15 that describes the people referred to. And they are False prophets and not Christian’s that blew it as many people believe it to be. If we fail to read the full context we can get an incorrect interpretation. Yes John 6:39+40 is the will of God, and not the bragging rights of those who try to justify what they did to enter Heaven. And you are accurately describing Christians that are born again have “eternal life” according to the scriptures. (John 3:36+John 6:47) are 2 of many present tense verese’s that declare never ending life is the possession obtained by the savior. It’s crucial to know that the word “temporary” was never associated in the scriptures regarding life from the savior. OSAS is exactly what is meant by life that never ends.
Thank you.
Christal clear thank you and godbless. You all
AMEN!!!
Thank you!
hallelujah!
Amen Brother. John 3:16. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. John 6:47. God cannot lie. The simplicity of the gospel. Acts 16:31.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 (Jesus = the word made flesh)
The kingdom of heaven is around and within the saints before we die.
Hi Pastor. Thank you Sir for all your hard work! I in no way doubt your sincerity! No rush but would you please consider 1 Corinthians 11:28 “Examine yourself whether you be in the faith”? I truly wrestle with this verse! I have loved ones who profess salvation with no fruit in their lives! I rub shoulders with them and after many years of no change they will tell me they are saved and will point back to a time when they prayed “the sinners prayer”. Should I be concerned? Thank you!!!❤️😊🙏
Humans cant let go of control. Cant accept the gift. 🙏 Come jesus come!

Yes, yes, yes, salvation is free. Now what do i do , do i hide the free gift?
Do i work with the free gift?
Share that free gift, and live a life that is honorable to Christ for the sake of the gospel message. We are entrusted with the message - 1 Thess. 2:4, and we should not hide it - 2 Cor. 4:3-4

The bible says the workers of iniquity are those who boast in themselves.
Psalm 94:4 KJV
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? And all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
Wow !!!! Never heard that one
The reason why it says depart from me, you workers of iniquity lawlessness is because there is the law and there is grace through faith. If they’re not in grace, they are in the law. And we know that no one can keep the law so they are a breaker of the law
Thus workers of iniquity
The ones who work iniquity do not have a regenerated spirit because they have never believed. Therefore all they can do in God's eyes is work iniquity. They only have the body of the flesh. This group never believed.
John 3:18
- Trent
I would like to know your interpretation of 1 John😊
A question I have during my cell group: disagreement on predestination.
Jn 3:16 and 2 Pet 3:9 that God wants all to be saved hence there is no election . God loves the world and meaning everyone are called to salvation. God is not a monster to elect a few and chosen ones
God elects man to service, not to salvation.
- Trent
Yes exact opposite.. Jesus never Knew them in this fist place. They never believed in Christ alone in the first place.
Great channel brother, Subbed.
Thank you so much. That’s encouraging!

@BibleLine God Bless you Brother Trent!! 🙏
Not that they didn't believe they believed their works of self righteousness saved them instead of believing in the finished work of christ
@@bigal98761 Great perspective! Probably should have said, "they never trusted in Christ alone."
People ignore the fact that they were denied because of their lawlessness and focus on the "I never knew you" part.
1 John 2:4,
He who says "I know Him" and does not keep the commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him.
So the reason He didn't know them is because of their lawlessness.

Howdie Pastor Jessie Martinez, what do you say about those who take Philippians 2:12 out of content? Where they say that this is where it says you have to earn your salvation.
The purpose of this passage is to have the mindset that Christ had regarding submitting to the Lord. The idea is to work "OUT" your salvation, not "FOR' your salvation here. God works in us through conviction of the Holy Spirit (2:13), and the goal is to shine as lights to others (2:15). It is all for the purpose of reaching others with the gospel. This passage is concerning encouraging believers to shine in this world and continue to spread the good news. It has no contextual room for works salvation.
- Trent
Wow this is soooooooo Awesome
I'd like to know your take on 1 Timothy 4:1, which says that, in latter times, some will depart from the faith.
Personally, I consider that verse to be talking about a deliberate post-salvation rejection of Jesus. Your thoughts?
How could they claim to cast out demons without the power of the Holy Spirit? Did they really cast them out? If Jesus never knew them, they couldn't have. Why are they claiming they have?
Thank you for teaching the truth! I always freak out when I read the word may as it implies to me that it might or might not happen. Is there a way to clarify that?
I believe that I / We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ alone. No work can compete with the Blood of Christ ❤
For 30 years I lived in anxiety and depression because I was carried away by different kinds of teachings like you can lose salvation, I now finally have peace believing Jesus Christ alone for salvation.( Those who hear the terrifying words from Jesus, I never knew you are one's who trusted in their own works and not the finished work of the cross, you cannot add anything to God's free gift of eternal life, obviously good works follow believing Jesus Christ alone for salvation. God bless you.
good works do not always follow…and if they don’t the person is still saved since they cannot lose eternal life. if eternal life could be lost it wouldn’t be eternal and Jesus would be a liar.
How do you know that they didn't say the sinner's prayer and trusted the finished work on the cross? They probably believed that the mighty works that they did in His Name was evidence of their salvation. It's clear why they were denied, because of their lawlessness which means that they ignored the law.
If you think that the finished work of the cross means that the law no longer applies, you don't know what the finished work of the cross is.

Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Abraham was justified by a work that he did not carry out (killing his son on the altar). He was not justified by any habitual works of his, nor does this passage contradict the fact that Abraham was justified by faith alone before God long before the Mount Moriah episode.
@@thinkerj The sacrifice was not part of the work Abraham did. God provided a sacrifice only after the work was done. I see this all the time. People confuse JUSTIFICATION with ( BEING ) SAVED 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
A ( workman ) has to be ( approved ) by God. Works makes our faith perfect
When you read the Word/Laws of God always notice and pay attention to the fact that there is ALWAYS works preformed first

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
@@jamesfields4149 Abraham was indeed justified by him (almost) sacrificing his son. "Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?" (Jas. 2:21). And justification equals salvation since what we have been saved from is the condemnation that our sins deserve. It is nowhere stated in the Scriptures that sanctification is an additional process that we need to undergo in order to be saved. We have been sanctified (Heb. 10:10) by the same blood by which we have been justified.
Confession of sin
Can you give me proper understanding of confession of sins daily basis pastor?
Confession is acknowledging or coming to an agreement with God about your sin. We confess our sin to God to renew fellowship with him. Jesus is our advocate. We should be honest and run to him every time we sin. This is not about salvation, but it is the daily relationship we have with God. 1 John 1:4-10

Very good teaching on "the will of the Father" from John 6. Also in John 6;
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:27-29
This is for people who are thinking their good works will save them. They are not trusting Christ to save them but their good works
This is for those who do not obey Messiah. He told us to keep God's Law. That is what the Sermon on the Mount is all about.(Matthew 5 - 7) They refuse to obey Messiah. They refuse to keep the very Law that will be written on every believer's heart. (Jeremiah 31:33)

I wrote a 20 paragraph message on Matthew 7:21-23
The will of the father is to be a Friend of God
Here is what chat gpt says about Matthew 7:21-23
Matthew 7:21-23, in the New International Version (NIV), states:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'"
This passage is a part of Jesus' teachings in the Sermon on the Mount. It emphasizes that mere verbal acknowledgment of Jesus as Lord is not enough for salvation; rather, it's about living in accordance with God's will. The passage warns against relying solely on external religious activities or accomplishments without a genuine relationship with God. It stresses the importance of sincere faith and obedience.
To be fair to you, here is what chat gpt says about the free grace translation of Matthew 7:21-23
From a Free Grace perspective, interpreting Matthew 7:21-23 would likely focus on the idea that salvation is based solely on faith in Jesus Christ, and not on one's works or religious accomplishments. In this context, proponents of Free Grace theology might emphasize that what matters is the personal relationship with Christ and trusting in His finished work on the cross, rather than relying on deeds or achievements. They might argue that the passage is cautioning against a reliance on human efforts for salvation, highlighting the need for a genuine, faith-based connection with Jesus.
That is pure lordship salvation. a false gospel mixing works with grace. LS…the greatest deception ever.
@@frankw.1721 so you don’t want Jesus as LORD????
I don’t want lordship salvation. Jesus as Lord is fine. lordship salvation is not fine. You’d do well to figure this out. 😎
Thank you for your explanation, Pastor. I have a question though...how were the people that Jesus said he never knew able to perform such godly signs if they never believed? Don't they need faith to do such mighty works?
Good question, and thank you.
We must consider the demonic and Satanic power and presence. Think of Moses and the sorcerers under Pharoah. They attempted the copycat of the wonders Moses performed by God’s power. They came close, but ultimately God is more powerful.
We could also consider the future of the Antichrist’s power through Satan. They will work all types of lying wonders.
Ultimately the people in Matthew 7 never believed in Christ, but they trusted in their own works and experiences.

3:02 yes 6:46 and yes!! Both are correct. ✅
Amen pastor thank you sir God bless you 🙏
I've heard that once you do the will of thee Father, believe His son, God no longer sees your sins, you are clean because you trust that Jesus died for you. So by doing good works and not doing the will of the Father, you may have done those things, but God still sees your past sins because you basically didnt trust that Jesus died for them.
I think I got that right.
Right. You have to believe in Jesus Christ alone to be saved. It cannot be faith plus works.

@@BibleLineso if we believe in Him alone, we can break His laws and all is well?
Hello I was wondering if you could explain the pearlee of the sow man thanks
I'm frightened because it looks to me like works salvation is the predominant view on Christendom. It is bad enough when my unbelieving friends and family turn me away and recoil when I try to share my faith, but it's another kind of pain when your supposed fellow believers scoff at you.
“Scoff” is the operative word here. Scoffing is from a prideful heart, and pride was the problem Jesus was addressing in these passages. “Lord Lord, didn’t we blah blah blah....those people Jesus referred to there in Matthew 7 were trying to come to God on the basis of their own righteousness, and that my friend is the essence of pride, to tout one’s own achievements as the ticket into the kingdom, and that flies in the face of what Paul said, when he said that salvation was “not of works, lest any man should boast.”
How can those people who do not believe and have no faith (did not do the will of the Father) still were able to perform miracles?
The thing that gets me, they accuse us of saying "you should lead a sinful life" and still be saved. Yet, nobody who has faith and believes in christ ever said "awww great! Im gonna go out and sin it up!"
And have you noticed the accusers always go to the extremes? They say things like "so i can go out and rape and kill children and women and still be saved?" Its always something so extreme. Its a strawman to make us look like miscreants when reality is completely opposite. Its not that we want to sin. Its that nothing we do can save nor condemn us. Its not about our works. Its about christs works. Whats so hard to get? Only a child of the devil, an apostate or reprobate cant see it and would make that accusation. Their voice when they say things like that is like satan accusing God to eve. Or satan tampting and accusing jesus in the wilderness.
King David was an adulterer, coveter, and murderer. I don't think he is burning in Hell.
There are people in the Bible that were the worst of the worst sinners Paul was the chief sinner no one can be sinless as long as we are in the flesh we will struggle with sin the spirit fights the flesh
Question… If they were not Christians, how were they actually able to cast out demons and do wonders in his name?
Matthew 7:21-23 provides a profound teaching about genuine discipleship and the importance of aligning one’s faith with actions. Here’s the passage:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Explanation of the Passage:
1. True Discipleship (Verse 21):
• Calling Jesus “Lord” is not enough; salvation requires obedience to God’s will. Faith must be lived out through action.
• Merely professing belief without following God’s commandments and teachings is insufficient.
2. False Confidence in Religious Works (Verse 22):
• Many will argue that they performed great deeds in Jesus’ name, such as prophesying, casting out demons, or performing miracles.
• These works, though impressive, are not evidence of genuine faith if they are done without true devotion or alignment with God’s will.
• The focus here is that external actions, no matter how spectacular, are meaningless if they are not rooted in a real relationship with God.
3. Judgment and Rejection (Verse 23):
• Jesus makes a striking declaration: “I never knew you.” This highlights the absence of an intimate, authentic relationship between the person and Christ.
• The phrase “depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness” shows that these individuals lived in sin, disregarding God’s commands while outwardly appearing religious.
Key Lessons:
1. Faith Requires Action: Genuine discipleship involves doing God’s will, not just proclaiming belief or performing religious acts.
2. Relationship over Rituals: Salvation is about a personal relationship with Christ, not just outward religious activities.
3. Judgment Is Based on Authenticity: On the Day of Judgment, Jesus will evaluate the sincerity of one’s faith and obedience, not merely external works.
How does God handle a person who believes, but persists in sinful acts?
1:40 It’s more that, there’s a strong agrument that eternal Salvation and entering the Kingdom of God are two different things. Salvation is needed to see the Kingdom( conversion with Nicadimus) start your walk towards it.
That’s what is talked about.
They were focused on what they did for salvation. We are saved by His grace and by having His Spirit in us. By His righteousness in us we become righteous also. This is why Paul teaches the unrighteous will not enter the kingdom. This is done by having a relationship with Jesus this is why He says to them I never knew you. And why Jesus says depart you who practice iniquity.
Romans 1:16 I am not ashed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes. You have to believe the truth That it is His power not ours but by His his power we are made righteous.
God bless Bibleline! What KJV + Bible is it? I’m interested in buying one as I need it for Bible study
It's important to note that Jesus is saying that he never knew these people. He's not saying that he used to know them but not anymore. And to say that I must come to church every Sunday and confess my mistakes so that their salvation can be maintained, that would have to mean that Jesus didn't pay the full price of our iniquities on the cross. In the passion translation in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 9, it says that salvation is never a reward for human striving. The passion translation derives from the original Aramaic language
A good study is looking into the "workers of iniquity" Just some examples.
Psalms 94:4 KJV
(4) How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
Psalms 64:2 KJV
(2) Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Thanks for the video. The Bible says go into the world and preach the gospel. Isnt this the will for us? To be disciplines for christ?
We see an excellent context clue starting in Matt 7 and verse 15
I have sins I struggle with and I'm always sad and depressed because of it. Is this a normal thing? I'm not lazy about reading my Bible everyday because I absolutely love God's word but all I see is my sinfulness in it
I think it’s very normal. No doubt the Spirit of God is convicting, especially if you’re reading the word.
He isn’t out to beat you over the head, but God still hates sin in the life of the believer. You will never be condemned to hell (assuming you’re a believer in Christ), but you can and will be out of fellowship with God if you keep sinning. This is the entire reason 1 John is written. We are to not sin, but if we do; we have an advocate in Jesus Christ!
1 John 1:4-10, 2:1-2

"There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ " . ❤️🙏
@@BibleLine I believed on the lord Jesus christ at 19 years old I'm 43 now and was raised in a anti religion anti Jesus home. I was an atheist drunk on my couch when I couldn't find anything to watch on TV except this preacher Jack Vanimpie and I believed and led my whole family to christ but fell into terrible sin 😔 I was blessed to end up at a free grace church and my wife and I were baptized. I have always studied my Bible whether I was in sin or not! When I got saved I was filled with unexplainable joy and I noticed I loved people! Before that I hated people especially any kind of religion.
Yes its normal we are in the flesh so we will struggle with sin the apostle Paul spoke about the struggle between the flesh and spirit that fight against sin Paul said the good that I wanna do i don't practice and the things I don't want to do I practice
@@bigal98761I'm not that knowledgeable biblically, but I think it's very dangerous to call frequent sinning "Normal"

IF SALVATION COULD BE LOST IT WOULD BE WRITEN I USED TO KNOW YOU DEPART FROM ME.

Keeping THE TOP 10 COMMANDS perfectly isn't enough even impossible to keep Perfectly '
TOP 10 COMMANTS alone are only 10 out of 613 LAWS YOU WOULD HAVE TO OBEY PERFECTLY TO REACH GOD'S STANDARD HOLY RIGHTEUSNESS PERFECTION "
IMPOSSIBLE BY OWN EFFORT "

REALLY BELIEVE JESUS REALLY RISED FROM THE DEAD AND WAS THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE INCARNATE IN MEN REQUIRE EXACTLY THAT.
The ones who said Lord, Lord heard the word of God, but did not act accordingly. Read the context, and the explaining parable of the man who built on sand, and the one who built on the solid ground.
Now explain once saved always saved in light of Matthew 25.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4. The Gospel in which we are SAVED. 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
