Mine is a 1971, was my grandpa's duty pistol, while he was Sheriff, so it was in perfect condition when I got it, luckily he took off the factory wood target grips and used aftermarket to carry and bang off everything leaving the original stocks in brand new condition.. It has his 3 initials, his birth year, and 3 digit badge number for the "custom S&W serial number request" along with jeweled trigger, polished and lightened, jeweled hammer, and 2 inlaid diamonds on the rear site.. (didn't know gramps was soo bougie).. lmao.. Much appreciated to the guy showing the coil accelerator and shooting it for us all! I think my favorite of them all was that euro Steyr Mannlicher but that Browning A5 is a very close second. I asked for my money back since I didn't want it, they said no refunds, I never went back there. Yeas later they opened 2nd amendments in Lombard & I tell everyone my story that thinks about buying from there.
Ole dude from alchemy reminds me of me when I'm in a gun store! That dude can talk about guns any day! Lol i have an A5 and it's recoil operated! They are amazing!
The A5, if you cut it down, you must add back the lost barrel weight to the now short barrel otherwise it will batter itself to death. This is 100% true fact meant to protect remaining long recoil in the world. You can split the cut off barrel piece and silver solder or weld it back on with considerate of weight of weld/ silver solder itself. You could also add back less weight and compensate with beefer recoil spring to a limit cause too much recoil spring can peen or crack the receiver/barrel. Also to the Black shirt fellow gun nut guy you should buy and shoot Remington v3 it is well built, super reliable (improved and super verison of benelli dual piston Argo gas system that self gas by using shell length to cover extra ports depending if shell is 2 3/4 or 3inch magnum.) they are $700 on gunbroker and will smack you in mouth for having lower expectations for it's price range and Remington's bad reputation after holding company got ahold of the company. There's is $1200-$2000 competition, waterfowl, tactical version with scalloped loading cut and extended charging hand and bolt release.

He works for Alchemy. Super cool guy. He has 2 channels of his own.
@@w.w.9047 now we talking tag his channels broheem! I need more of this in my life
The really messed up thing is he is only 26 years old 😂
GAT guns is alright, depending on who’s behind the counter you can get decent information
Dang that’s awesome guys , jake you won’t be disappointed in that A5 you got there. Only thing and I’m sure you e done experienced it but the dang recoil from them beasts are like nothing you e shot 😂. I had a worked over one that I rigged up a magazine extension and made it a 10 shot and dang man it was cool.
I’m ready!
The sad part is only out of staters can buy some of those firearms cuz if u live in illinois u have lest rights than out of state visitors pretty lame dont live in illinois especially chicago
Coil gun is insane
GAT GUNS 💪 IS A CLASSIC SHOP GREAT ATMOSPHERE ❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
1 of the employes screwed me over on a private sale, my family my friends & I will never step inside there ever again. 2012 I went with a family member to get a FOID the clerk didn't even ask to see his driver's licenses.
@@jameschaninone of the employees let a customer pull out his cc gun to see if a mag he was interested fit. Unholstered, took out the mag and reholstered without clearing his gun.
Not a bolt gun guy and honestly don’t know much about them at all.. however that Steyr Mannlicher looks like it’s the epitome of classic/cool and the action is buttery smooth.
Great video thanks guys
4in Model 66 (no dash) S&W is in my opinion the Best all around smith revolver ever made.. I have owned over 50 smith revolvers, and the first year 66 I have is bad ass.. Some are too light, some are too heavy,.. The 6shot .357 4in in a lighter "K" frame is hands down the best shooter you can get.. (didn't know gramps was soo bougie).. lmao.. The diamonds had so much gunk in them I didn't notice it for a couple years, until I shot it a bunch at a wheel gun match and fullly cleaned and disassembled it for maintenance..
Tonight on 1911 Syndicate: Jake manages to hang out with 3 humans and not commit crime, Crispy films in Chiraq and doesn't record at least 3 murders, and RAIL GUN.
That Guy's Firearm knowledge is amazing. Definitely not something you'd get from a degree at SDI.
You guys should check out mountain side outfitters in Rogersville Missouri. One of the coolest gun stores to walk through. Rare and custom gun packages, mid evil weapons custom gun storage cases, cabinets. Very cool place with cool vibe.
I'm kinda sad that you're going to cut up that all together original Browning A5... I kinda think you should buy a separate stock and barrel to cut instead of the original parts but that's just what I think. All of the choices shown and talked about today were all very awesome! Much appreciated to the guy showing the coil accelerator and shooting it for us all! I think my favorite of them all was that euro Steyr Mannlicher but that Browning A5 is a very close second. That mini-14 looked Perfect! Too cool! Cheers guys!~
1994 I went to Gun World in Bensenville to buy a HK USP 40 cal. the gun came with 2 13 round mags. When I went to pick up the gun 3 days later the gun had 1 10 round mag. I asked where's the 2 13 round mags that was with the gun when I came in 3 days earlier, they said it's their store & they could do whatever they wanted. I asked for my money back since I didn't want it, they said no refunds, I never went back there. Yeas later they opened 2nd amendments in Lombard & I tell everyone my story that thinks about buying from there.
Just an fyi..Article 2 in lombard is the same owner of of Gun World. When Ohare expanded they relocated.
@@sammiskie1127 I know that's why mentioned it. thanks
Jake, you have chosen wisely. 👍👍
I did it
Ole dude from alchemy reminds me of me when I'm in a gun store! That dude can talk about guns any day! Lol i have an A5 and it's recoil operated! They are amazing!
He’s 26
@@1911syndicate He's passionate!
When i lived in IL, GAT guns was the pace to go. Wish I had something like that here in Michigan.
Great to see Eli wearing his Grindstone T-shirt on your videos.
You guys should review a KRC (KNIGHTS RIVER CUSTOM) 1911. I’m looking at one now but not sure about them. I have many 1911s
Welcome to our city
Great video, really enjoyed it
Love these videos! Because of you guys, I visited Scottsdale Tactical and Haley Strategic when I was there back in May. Be sure to checkout Tombstone Tactical in Phoenix as well!
That’s awesome
...when your on the southside, beware of Leroy Brown, hes got a 32gun in his pocket for fun and a razor in his shoe...
Appreciate his passion on the history of guns, but sorry, I’m gonna guess a modern gun mad with modern manufacturing is going to be better than the old ones
Oh wow that’s like a mile from my house.
Bought my first pistol at GAT guns.
Down with PICA!
You should check out D5 in Marengo Il it’s my local range best around it 30 mins west of gat guns… gat guns has a huge selection tho
Not having a Lebman 1911 in this episode is criminal. Full auto with the ported barrel, extendo and front grip. Chicago gangsters always have and always will love machine pistols. Can we get an episode on one!?
I think there’s only a few that exists. Would be amazing though
EAGLE'S SPORTS RANGE WOULD HAVE BEEN A NICE FEATURE FOR THIS
If you had to, if you were able to walk out of the store with the firearm, I am not sure what happened there because all Illinois residents most likely have to wait 3 days
I hope all of you went to Cantigny Park in DuPage County. Tanks all over, cool military Mueseum. If not, you missed out. Cool video though.
I keep thinking I’m watching the campaign and listening to Marty Huggins talk. 😂😂😂
lol
This was an expensive trip!
It hurt
Even for the camera guy
“Odd place for a gun store”…. Uh…. I thought that was normal. Go to KY Gun Co in Louisville.
