I thought... no... one can't render this complex composition with a single guitar. I was wrong. All the best from Oleron island France, sir, and many thanks for this six strings journey. And you're right, Sean Connery was the best...
You are obviously a 'jazz master', meaning you have a very good knowledge of chord chemistry and theory, that's what makes your version of this 1966 movie theme song sound so accurate and also so unique. I too want to play this way.
@@Vinterfrid right you are (June 13th 1967), I was in Kindergarten(the summer after my Kindercare. My parents took me and my brother to see it at an outdoor Drive-in theater in our Ford Station Wagon car.
Absolute Virtue ! , Tastefully , well balanced formulation, flawlessly circumspect iteration to soloist's work ! (I hear the soul of the work )you have made it your own .
I'm not a musician but I appreciate your creative guitar style. After listening to it twice, I became even more relaxed and more nostalgic to your tune. A great rendition! Thank you.
Awesome arrangement, and execution! Impressive how you nailed all the subtleties with just solo guitar. I really love the Jazzmaster sound and bar work on this one too.
Such a clever skillful player you are Jac and though I may never meet you I consider you a friend because you encourage me to keep trying to also become a great player kind regards Allan
I was wondering where your cat was, and then at 2.45, at the end of the unit and going out of the door, barely visible! I was listening to this again this morning and remarking on how well you vary the tone of the guitar at the appropriate moments.
I found your channel quite by accident while surfing around the internet. This is the best thing I've heard played on the guitar in a while. Warms the heart of a Bond fan. I'm going to learn this...or actually I already started. Thank you so much...have a great new week ;)
It's a shame I can only give this one like, I'd like to give it a lot more.
Beautiful rendition of the best Bond theme ever.
Total respect.
Just gorgeous
Marvelous! What a nice re edition of a wonderful and musically "difficult" melody !
And a beautiful guitar too..
he starts out making you think hes gonna play the goldfinger theme , then he blends in you only live twice . what a master , indeed .
i wonder if you folks out there in 007 fan land caught that , i sure did .
Delightful. Worthy of the soundtrack.

Can you tell me please what type of guitar is used ?
Thank you
@@trysam that’s a Fender Jazzmaster, 1963 body, 1966 neck. I sold it, but am lately regretting that
i do agree - with the exception that the movie is from 1967.

This was the first English movie my parents went to see in the cinema after moving from Pakistan so the theme track has a special place in my heart
