The BBC has 5 superb orchestras like this, its own big band, lots of great singing talent on tap... wasted. They hardly get a look-in on TV. 'Strictly' is as close as it gets to a pro music show. Competitions have a place, but now they dominate, with their unwarranted ecstasy at passing round 1, bitter disappointment, tears, screaming audiences, mandatory long delay over who's going home, winner we'll never hear of again... Just occasionally, let's see skilled, established artists and not only exploitative shows where cheap-to-hire unknowns are pushed through the sausage machine of broken dreams.

Why can't she modulate her volume with an earpiece? That's usually a sign of overdependance which with a song like this really shouldn't be happening unless you learnt the song a few days ago. She also misses a few plosives here and there. Does she have a hearing problem I've not heard about?
Sweet, but her non-musical songs are better IMO. Incidentally I was told by a Hollywood film director I could sing You Only Live Twice better than Nancy Sinatra (who apparently had to have her song edited so many times as she couldn't sing it through in one sitting.)
