    =====================
In Episode 1 (Day 1) we meet Bob and get a feel of the area for locations of interest he has already searched and needs our team to investigate further.
Goff was last seen leaving her home in the 2100 block of 7th Avenue in Great Falls, Montana on July 12, 2018. That morning her husband saw her loading their German Shepherd mix, Sadie, into her black four-door 2008 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck with the Montana license plate number 2-93204A and stickers in the back window and on the back bumper. A photo of the truck is posted with this case summary.
Goff drove south on Wilson Butte Road, and did not return to her residence. Her husband tried to call her an hour and a half after she left, and she didn't answer. They had inherited her husband's father's home and his three pets, and had rehomed his two dogs, but his elderly cat, Mouse, was still living at the residence. Goff's husband went to his late father's home to see if Goff was there. He found food and water in Mouse's dishes, but there was no sign of Goff or Mouse.
Mouse was never seen again and it's unclear what happened to the cat and whether its disappearance is related to Goff's disappearance, or even if Goff visited her late father-in-law's residence that day. About 32 hours after Goff left her home, Sadie was found on Hawk Drive about four miles south of Great Falls. Witnesses reported having seen the dog on both sides of the Missouri River that day. There was no sign of Goff.
Since Goff's disappearance, her truck has not been located. It's uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning and she was very close to her family, and authorities believe she may be in danger. Her case remains unsolved.
Bob and Tammy were high school sweethearts and Bob's love for Tammy never faded as you'll see in his kind words and desire for nothing more than to find Tammy.
Our search took us to many locations on the Missouri River in Great Falls, Montana on Day 1 with no success.
Don't miss Day 2 as we continue our search with Bob.
Hug the ones you love and reach out to those in need.
We are humbled by the opportunity all of you have given us to help Bob and his family in the search for answers as to what happened to Tammy.

This is Bob Goff. I have to admit, I had not heard of AWP before March of this year. A family member said I should call them for help.
From the first time we met, I was blown away by their honesty, compassion and devotion to what they do. My family can now turn a
page after a very difficult time. Thank you to all that help support what Jared, Sam, Doug and their families do to make at least a
small part of this world a better place.

The hardest part about being suicidal that NOBODY ever talks about is the fact that if you attempt (or are serious about the thought) it never really goes away. There's always that thought in the back of your brain just sitting there until it breaks you down enough. Check on your friends please, you never know what's going through their head.

They were five stories up; he never had a chance, and one of the workers called my friend and told her that her husband had committed suicide. You can imagine what this did to her-- they were very much in love and it was a devastating blow. As it was, an autopsy showed that my friend's husband had had a massive aneurism in his brain, almost like a tire blowing out; according to the medical reports he was almost certainly dead before he fell from that window.

I think the problem with depression is most people don't understand it until they experience it. They just assume it's like being "a bit fed up". People say "oh, I was depressed, so I went and bought a nice new shirt and felt much better" or something facile like that. That's not depression. Depression rips any happiness, any love, any enjoyment out of the world and replaces it with pain, distress and a overwhelming whirlwind of confusion that is both numb and excruciating. Try reading Darkness Visible by William Styron (memoir written by author of Sophie's Choice regarding his own experience). The most dangerous conditions are those were people who haven't experienced think they know what it will be like. It's not their fault- they're trying to emphathise but it's like trying to read a language where you don't know what any of the letters are.

I've struggled with those thoughts and feelings since I was a young child. Always feeling like I was a burden on the ones that I loved the most. Even though they never told me I was. Dear Bob, I know finding your wife Tammy was a day that in some ways you never wanted to see come, but on the other hand you need closure and to make sure she was safe and laid to rest properly. I can understand the conflicting feelings.
A friend of mine who was dealing with losing his home, his wife left and took their child and Mike just couldn't handle it. We believe we know where he went in the water by where his truck was found but we never found his body and its been many years and at this point finding him without being in a vehicle that would be a little easier to find is unfortunately is like finding a needle in a haystack. There was rescuers and fire department personnel along with many others that searched the area on foot even through the water since it was flooded the day he disappeared and other than his truck and and a note nothing has ever been found. Mike was a 911 operator and firefighter and had dealt with these case before and never seemed the type to commit suicide after seeing it first hand. After everything he was losing and had lost, it just proves you never truly know what people are going thru. Many friends and family spoke with him daily to make sure he was OK and he was always insuring everyone he was ok. He wasn't obviously! Now he is gone and it leaves behind so much pain and hurt and still no answers.
It's such a difficult thing to deal with.
I'm so sorry for you loss but so grateful to Adventures with Purpose for coming and searching until they found Tammy. At least now she can be laid to rest and even though she is gone you have some piece of mind. Even with that being said, I know it's still the hardest thing you'll ever live with or have to go through. So please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Depression tends to take control, sometimes you don't even know why. The ones to commit suicide and are serious about it, for the most part will not leave a note. My cousin committed suicide and left no note, he had told my dad one day " life seems senseless, you get up go to work and do it day after day with nothing new, nothing exciting" so my dad wasn't surprised when he got the call that he was gone. He had tried suicide one other time and left a note. It's like the note is for someone to find and get help. Not every case is like this but from watching AWP and the ones they have found, no notes were left. Prayers for peace and understanding for this family.

I totally agree with whoever said [your videos continue to get better every time you put a new one out]
Thank you all for being who you are!
You can tell that your compassion for these families is genuine. Your determination and thoroughness to find each and every one of the cases you take on is so admirable.Much respect to you Jared, Sam and Doug (I hope I got your name right)

I live right close to GF and have followed this up to the point where y'all found her and put out a short video to let us know things had changed. Thanks for helping this family to finally find closure. *WE KNEW THAT SADIE held the key* and y'all followed your gut and *SADIE.* ... *RIP Tammy.*
I'm commenting and liking cause you said it does something to the algorithm. I have no idea what that means but I'm doing it cause you told me it helps and Lord knows I'm a helpful person. Happy Tuesday! June 29, 2021

I love how this episode opens up the topic of suicide. He’s very brave for opening up and sharing his experiences with his wife. And I teared up and noticed I was nodding my head along to what he was saying. My husband committed suicide in ‘08 leaving me and his 2 toddlers behind. And then my father did as well in 2014. And this man is so right when he says that someone feeling that way…”unburdening” their loved ones..it doesn’t work like that. I’ve had so many people tell me how it was the “east way out” or “selfish”. What I do know about my own losses to suicide is their momentary pain is over. But the pain doesn’t die. The pain transfers to everyone who loved them. For the rest of our lives. And there’s no taking it back once it’s done on their end and there’s no shoulda woulda coulda’s on mine. It’s very final. And there never is any getting over it only through. Thank you for opening up about suicide on your platform. The more we talk about it the more others will understand about this…what it does to loved ones..And hopefully more people will say “I need help” and allow their loved ones to be there for them and get professional help. From a survivors standpoint…there’s nothing I wouldn’t have done. ❤️

I’m so sorry for what you went through. I know your right that the pain is ended for them and transferred to you. My ex was suicidal and he finally explained how unfair he felt it was that other people wanted him to continue to suffer for their own happiness. And I had to realize no amount of love from me would take away his pain. And he felt it selfish of me and his family to want him to stick around for us when he was suffering so bad. And I understood that. I can’t support it. But, it clicked for me to understand that while we may feel that pain of grieving, that’s still “less” that the pain they’re feeling themselves. I’ll always fight for people to stay but I have a new view and empathy for those who take their own lives. 😢
Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.

It is uniquely gut wrenching to come upon this video and again experience the pain i felt many years ago, when I lost my good friend, Taylor Mckeown, in Great Falls Montana. Watching this brings back those emotions. Death is so hard on the living. However, life goes on. God bless you guys. Keep up the tremendous work and continue to share the love and dedication for the loved ones of those you've never met, but you helped to bring home.

My best friend since childhood we were practically sisters....took her own life. That trauma in itself has taken me 24 years even yo come to terms with and we found her in hours and we laid her to rest but the grief and PTSD I suffered continued on. I cannot imagine having to believe that she had taken her own life but we could not find her. It would be absolute hell on earth. I send my sincerest condolences to Mr Goff and family and again to AWP you guys are just incredible. You do not understand the closure you bring when you find these family members. You guys are incredible. All my love to you all ❤

As someone who has survived suicide, and who is starting their own family after so much heartbreak, to anyone who’s breaking down inside… You are so loved. You have such a bright future ahead of you, and no one can take that away. You. Are. Enough. Don’t ever think that you’re selfish for thinking that this seems like the only answer, but it’s a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I wish you nothing but blessing and love and peace. So much peace. Stay safe, y’all.
