In 1975, the vibrant city of Boston was rocked by the sudden disappearance of Dorothy Goroshko. Last seen at the Penalty Box, a popular local bar, Dorothy's night out turned into a decades-long mystery. Driving her distinctive yellow 1970 Ford Maverick with a black top, license plate 9K7755, Dorothy vanished without a trace. Her journey home to Brighton, a mere 9 miles away, became one of the most perplexing missing persons cases in the area.
As a mother of three, Dorothy's absence left a void in her family that could never be filled. Her children, especially her son Rick, have spent years wondering about her fate, holding onto the hope that one day they might find some answers. Today, we're working to retrace Dorothy's last known steps and explore new leads with the hope of solving this decades-old mystery.

The 1970 Ford Maverick, known for its distinctive yellow color and black top, is not just a vehicle but a key piece of this puzzle. With its history of mechanical issues, including brake problems, we're faced with the possibility that an accident could have led to Dorothy's disappearance. Our search is not just about technology and techniques; it's about understanding the human element, the decisions that lead someone home or astray, and the impact of those decisions on the lives of loved ones left behind.
The mysterious disappearance of Dorothy raises several questions that could point towards foul play. Firstly, the context of her last known location, the Penalty Box bar, a bustling spot in Boston, suggests she may have encountered someone with malicious intent. Can you please help a family in Hartford CT there family member Angel Garcia 19 years old has been missing since 2011 and was possibly headed to a place to ride dirt bikes but had a railroad bridge to ride over that was over a body of water he could've possibly fell in please help this family

Welcome to my hometown. This took place before the Big Dig, which changed the landscape nearby. I can't remember if they dug up near the Penalty Box and the waterfront there. What used to be an "upper deck, lower deck" highway system running through downtown (starting at TD), is now a very long, underwater tunnel. The maps and waterway maps will look different now. Ask Bill about the significance of the Big Dig.

oh wow. I went to school in boston & can NOT believe you got through some of those streets with that trailer! very impressive driving. Rush hour in Boston is insane!
Yeh, I was hoping he avoided Storrow and Memorial with that beast he drives. Instant sunroof. Too many Uhauls have succumb to the wrath of Storrow Drive.
My guess is he’s got a trucker atlas. Any good truck driver has one even though we’re in the digital age, but it has all the bridge heights for major cities. If you drive an rv, it might be a good idea to get one! Lol

Depending on if the Maverick was a 6 or 8 cylinder, those cars were very front heavy. I owned a Chevy Nova small 8 cylinder car. I skidded on a parkway in NY, which was a very cuvy road at the time, so I picked up speed. I was in rush hour traffic going to work. I skidded in rain on leaves, lost total control, thought I was going to wind up airborn and ended into oncoming traffic. I stupidly tapped the breaks, the car did a very fast complete turn, and it shot into boulders that were at the curb of the road. The car spun around again and flipped over. That body style car, regardless of the make and model, was not safe.
I don't remember the exact district but, I took the wrong exit in Boston with a 2002 model 379 Peterbilt Semi pulling a 53ft Refrigerated Trailer. The Street was full of Tourists and it was Cobblestone and Brick. The Officer on Horseback was not at all happy with me BUT, he did stay with me until I could get back to the Interstate. (NO tickets were issued) I guess he believed I had suffered enough when it took almost 3 hours to get turned around.
That's what Bruce Rivers, Criminal Defense Attorney, always says on his channel. Nothing good happens after midnight. It's one of his mantras. Even though it's so old, her loved ones are still very much around. It's an important one. Thank you for keeping at it!

Yall need a car expert on your team. Someone who could identify vehicles from suspension, wheels, exhaust systems etc. Knowing wheel bolt patterns from measurements.
It all makes a huge difference.

Have you been able to guide law enforcement on how to recover vehicles? I was highly upset on the one case where law enforcement had no regards to the family of a victim and their loved one one the recovery
missing/bad brakes are such a scary thing--lost brakes going downhill (luckily not near a body of water) and got in a horrific crash. was very lucky to get out nearly uninjured

The first thing I would have checked for on the tire would have been the presence of a date code and how many digits/what it was.

There is a chance the car was buried under the reclamation. That would require ground penetrating radar to locate a buried vehicle.
Mavericks were awesome cars. Mine started on the coldest days of winter.

Even though you are on a certain case looking for a certain person, if you see other vehicles you should look into diving on them also , just think you could have given another family an answer to there loved ones, you do this why not go all the way
Just FYI, that’s not how tire sizes work. Obviously it wasn’t the right size, but the large number ie. 165 or 215 is the section width of the tread in mm. The second number is the profile as a percent of the section width and the last number ie. 14 or 15 is the rim diameter.

Bringing up a headlight for a maverick wont tell you anything as its a sealed beam headlight bulb and 90 percent of cars that era back to 50s used the same style bulb. Tail light would tell ya kinda cause they share the same tailight with the pinto. Also its not a full frame car its a uni body pretty much you have rear frame rails then the floor acts as a frame then you have front rails. Mavericks had small bumpers till 73 they still had a small bumper on the back and a lil bit bigger on the front then 74 they went to big truck lookin bumpers front and rear. Most but not all had bumperetts on front and rear 1970 till 72 they were close togather 73 they got further apart. Good luck they were bad for rusting on land cant imagine what it would look like under water years. Also they use coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the rear.

Hey Jared , have you heard of the case a Nancy Ng she went missing while kayaking on a lake with a retreat group in Guatemala . I guess they have been having a real hard time coming up with a group to dive trying to retrieve her body for the family as they lack the resources there to look
