Oh, I thought it was weird, I saw the thumbnail seeing rainbowbum in there, but the channel was schematic. I thought you did a collaboration with another channel. Nope new name. Nevertheless great video again man! Learning logic is better than just copy and pasting others.
I can immediately think of a use case where in the early game you have limited nucleus size, being able to extract the exact ratios for a complex 3 or 4 recipe off one unloader would be nice. As with most things in physics you trade time for space.
Used this to send one line of @phase-fabric and @silicon to a container, which output to an overdrive dome. Works well and only used the single conveyor, which was important in the map I was in. This vid helped this noob! Thx!
As somebody who this video helped and you saying you had no idea why one would wants. I want it to save some space, by unloading from one conveyor to a vault which then distributes the resources to my industry. While certainly not the most elegant it works for casuals and I don't have 3 conveyors running out of my core to feed a single industry.
Hey, recently found your channel and found it really helpful (I'm just finishing up the campaign now). I'm not sure if you play much campaign, but I'd be curious to know how you setup your core schematics? I currently use one that starts with T1 and T2 support fliers and some RTC. I've started making more use of more large overdrive so have been thinking about adding that to the schematic as well. edit: to be clear, I mean I'm unloading from the core to do these things right from landing.
I’m currently making a logic video on core surge alloy so watch out for that this week. It’s a good video because if you know the fundamentals of it you can create some really cool core factories. Remember using logic to control unloaders at core so for example if silicon in factory is under 500 turn off machines
Could you do this as an easy way to make surge using a single unloader instead of 4? I could see this being useful like that if you're on a very tight campaign map. Tight as in there isn't much space near your core. Or would it be better to have your unloader go directly into the alloy smelter and control what it was exporting based on the contents inside the alloy smelter?
There is actually a more precise way of doing this, I will make a video soon on it but if you understand logic give it a try. so for example use jump using if lead < 6 so if lead is less than 6 make the unloader change to lead
btw if anyone wondering what i talking about,i commented previous on video for noobs that im not noob anymore and rookie now.and he said next video is for rookies.lmao.
It's more complicated, but you can use @time variable to unify processing speed across all processor tier. mindustrygame.github.io/wiki/logic/3-variables/
My dumb ass would have used the counter to count the amount of items that went through instead of a time, so you always get the same amount. I would assume however, that that will only work with the hyper processor?
@@SCHEMATIC I don't think the username itself was an issue. TH-cam is all about marketing and one only has a few seconds on that first impression to catch a potential new subscriber. One would see the channel name and not expect to see Mindustry content.
@@TheSleepyCraftsman Like I don't want to be tied in to mindustry forever as I do like factorio and other strategy games. I am still unsure with schematic but I just can't think of anything yet haha. Rainbowbum was a bit weird thou
So we make our own time using the proccesor tick speed right i mean micro processor tick speed is 120 instruction so if 50 is about 2.4 sec of delay right
can you show how to do that if some resource is full it will unload it?i tried make it but i cant control configuration.its stay always at same resource becouse i cant put if before it.general idea is for servers where your core is stop resources if it full so i though tho unload them so its automatically unload res.that are full.cant make it tho.
Loving your channel, v6 seems super rich with potential and I love your style, haven't subscribed to a new channel in a long time :D
Hah awesome thanks aly!
Can’t believe I’m learning coding from a mindustry tutorial

Yeah learning it makes a lot more sense so you can make it for yourself

I kinda liked the rainbowbum username but I can get used to this, great video as always!
Yeh, I liked the original name
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Great video🔝👍🏻
Thanks buddy
THIS. IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. LITERALLY.
Thank you! Really needed this one! :)

Also nice you got a green screen now

ok nice tutorial but the inbtro actually suprised me xDDDD
Man the way you did this tutorial is a completely different from the previous ones that I thought RAINBOWBUN got overtaken by someone else.
Yeah I don't even know what happened in this video. I will be taking the glasses off next time haha

I checked and heard if you pause it continues to count so I thought it was pointless using time, someone correct me if there is another way though
I almost don't know who u are in this user name, but I can remember your face
rainbowbum!
@@SCHEMATIC yeah guess u are
Hey, just wanted to share it with you all, my resource display schematic is top trending in the workshop ! ^^
You can use this in pvp for t4 or t5 schematics
Ok I literally have no idea what name I should have.... any ideas
i think schematic is fine the only one i can think of is plastaniumconveyor69 :p xD

I'll miss the old name but the new name is better lmao
Nice video. But do you know you can redrag segments after copying so you don't have to reconfigure the entire part each time??
Yeah but when using jumps it kinda screws it up, just helps people to see it done again
Thanks!
Yahhhh thanks 😁
Changed your username..just as I was getting used to the old one. I have thought about focusing on Mindustry for a while...
Just so hard to become a youtuber as rainbowbum haha
Why? It’s different name I am sure people can live with it but I think it was your pfp which made the name quite literal

How do I set a limit of only "200 copper, 200 lead, 200 silicon and 200 titanium" in one vault?
Did you watch the first video? 😂😂
Hoi,schem boi
I guess theoretically if you could make it to send the exact amout if resources at the right intervals it might be useful for building units or smth
