I have a powerful plastanium farm and it only works on maps that has large amounts of sand or shale if you want oil extractors or tar which is easier and it needs any drill(s) to mine the titanium cause the plastanium farm eats titanium quickly
I've been testing out here on v7 and it appears that the cultivator and spore press ratio is actually 5:1, and the water extractor and cultivator ratio is 3:1. If you put only 2 water extractor to one cultivator, it ends up not receiving enough water, so it stops working sometimes, considerably reducing its efficiency. I you put 3 water extractors to one cultivator, it actually ends up receiving too much water, causing one of the extractors to quickly fill up entirely, but it also fills up the cultivator, making it procuce at its max potential, making so that the amount of cultivators needed for a spore press to work properly is only 5.
The in-game building descriptions provide a way to calculate rates. It's written there that a cultivator produces 0.6 spores per second, multiplied by the efficiency, up to 220% from the tile bonus. The spore press consumes 3 spores per second, so the ratio is 5:1 if no cultivators are on bonus tiles. Similarly, the press "officially" produces 18 oil per second but the plastanium consumes just 15, so the perfect ratio is actually 5:6.
6:1:1 Ratio. Sounds about right. I figured seven woulda been enough, but at least this saves up on power and resources. Thank you, RainbowBum. #eatcookiescrapthunderandrainbows
@@maddec_6511 They can work but junctions can be finicky with its storage and its advertised one block jump. If I have access to armored conveyors I don't have to worry about resources so I'm not shy with my usage.
Any specific reason why you use bridges at 3:30 ? Wouldn't armored conveyors achieve the same goal since they can't receive input from the sides and, at least in my opinion, give a cleaner look to the design.
my guess because the armored conveyors require plastanium (along with thorium and metaglass) and you wouldnt want to have a plastanium schematic that requires plastanium to make, also because bridge conveyors are cheaper
Makes sence, although you could make a similar argument about using plastanium conveyors for throughput. I guess in the end, some of it is personal preference.

Btw there is a design with oil extractor but it requires thorium and each extractor is enough for one plastanium Compressor
Oh thats cool, I will look into that! thanks

Please have a schematic link or file or something in the description for easy use.
There is, check the description :)
Off topic but how does he get the green/ red squares indicating if the building is powered or not?
Setting then go to game. You can change it there
For me is F6
Yeees i was waiting for this
Thank You so Much love it
No problem 😊
The thing is that consumes too much power for one plastanium compressor
Yeah it's more a lazy way to just get some plastanium going since you only need titanium and power. Has actually been really useful
My prob is the water extractors. Good thing pumps are always an option😂😂😂
And its not really that compact but its effective
So nice intro
Verry good video
Lets find out if it work in v7
yes we need all the plastanium
Happy New Year🥳
Happy new year!!
That's 6 cultivators for 1 compressor bruh, now I know why it's so slow to produce plastasium at stained mountains.
Edit: atleast it's possible
instead of using conduits which have a limit on the flow you can use tanks on the top to make it instant
Bro isn't the schematic hella big already.
Surge alloy next?
obviously on the list

why not just use an oil extractor?
This is just an idea if you want to use something else
The schematics: a bit big and consumes too much space of the map
Small space maps: *lol*

Yeah This is more if you have the space and need plastanium, you can always delete some of the spores to make it smaller
how to turn it into schematic?
hold f, drag over something you want
water extractor works on ground ?
Yep. dont put it in thermal it will limit its extraction

easier put oil extraktor instead of 10 water extraktors.
