When we were little we'd go every summer to México city where my dads from and in the mornings we'd get tacos for breakfast. Some of my favorite memories 💕 wish I could go back for Just one day and relive it 🥲

I've only had some measly 1/3 the size of these, with 1/10 the amount of filling at an exorbitant price of about $12, and they were meh. My country sucks so bad regarding food and prices and authenticity....they know NOTHING about.

Oh yes, I went to Tijuana and had a real taco and believe it or not a chimichanga there’s just something about their meat and their cheeses that they use delicious I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. ❤🎉

So little sauce tho!! 😭. The sauce really adds to tacos in my opinions. I love drenching my tacos in red sauce when I visit family in Mexico
I was just there for 5 months. I'd recommend Taqueria Gabriel, and Café nin (for the guava pastery).
If you check out the Frida Kahlo museum then get some of the best coffee at Cafe Avellaneda (I'd recommend their pour over or Trago 1) Amatista Tostada, and get a churro.

En El Salvador la comida mexicana está infravalorada y eso q hay una taquería en cada esquina igual que pupuserias. Pero una orden de tacos te cuesta mínimo $4 y he visto q en México te sale a $2.00 osea el doble. Y acá no hay variedad y si quieres piña, jalapeño o algo así tienes q pagar extra.

Al pastor with piña cilantro & onions, tacos or cemita is really yummy! With salsa verde, lime, & a side of cucumbers slices is a must! 🤤

Oh that's interesting. I've had many cemita's over the years, obviously my whole family too. Most of the time when we going out, while getting tacos we're given slices of cucumbers & radishes on the side too. I'm guessing it depends on the vendors & such. The cucumbers gives a nice refreshing taste after eating some tacos/cemitas since they're greasy & savory. 😅😊😊 (side note: I'm Mexican too)

:ingredients
:Pillsbury Crescent rolls
:cheddar cheese slices
:Mini hot dogs or cut normal hot dogs in half
To make it slide the hotdog down the middle but don't cut all the way
Put the cheese in the slit (you can use any cheese but I prefer cheddar)
: Rap the crescent roll dough around the hotdogs
:then bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or untill golden brown on 340 degrees And enjoy I call them pigs in a blanket :)

I'm glad you had it in Mexico City also, that was the major Food Scene Location in the world for quite a few years as it changes every few years globally. Mexico City also is a destination for people from all over the country to find success and good work so it has all of the different styles of food from all corners of the country.
