I have always been a Buck fan. Great products and their testimony as Christians with putting John 3:16 in each package is great. I recently purchased the spitfire for edc I moved the pocket clip to better suite my needs. One of my favorite buck knives is my buck oddyssey. I had the great privilege of meeting Chuck buck and his grand daughter Sarah back in 2004 at the nra convention in Pittsburgh and they both engraved their names on my blade.
Weirdly enough the mini version of this is what made me fall in love with buck. It gives me the same vibes as the spyderco endura or meadowlark equivalent, but I love it so much more. Not to mention that the factory edge is stoopid sharp and is the sharpest knife I've ever held in my life. Thanks Buck!
I have two of these and switched the pocket clip to blade down carry. I feel like it gives me a better grip since the handle is a bit thin and also allows for deeper pocket carry in that position.
Zero blade play, perfect quality control, Superior design, excellent hand feel. Yes it is lightweight but the materials are substantial and thick enough for strong durability. But as with anything else I don't think the price increase is justifiable or makes sense. Still about my favorite so far though as far as reliable functionality
Love the S30V version, but 420HC in 2020 is unacceptable twinkie steel. Anyone who thinks 420HC is acceptable at this point doesn't use their knife much as the edge retention is awful.
Kind of depends on what you're doing with it don't it? I agree it's not the best thing going......but it's a Buck knife that costs like 30 bucks. I think they do make a version with S30V but I don't know the price.
I think it's total BS that one can buy this knife for $21.00 in the US and in Canada for $62.00 Where he hell is our so called "free trade " agreement ??? Getting gouged by them as usual .
It's FANTASTIC! 420hc or s35vn from the custom shop (I own both) I've disowned my 112's and 110's as they weigh a metric ton except for the 112 slim pro with s30v which I adore as well. ONLY issue I have with the spitfire is a nylon bushing which I thought... WTF?!?!?! I sanded down some brass and made my own which I prefer to "ceramic bearings" as that is junk crap awaiting a "I need to take my knife apart and clean it and lube it and...." Just use the effin knife. It's not meant to be a fidget spinner

Best pocket knife I've ever owned. I own a small woodshop and use it daily and for months now it's kept a razor edge. I'm impressed. Great job.

Psst.. the nylon bushings were smoother and better than my highly polished copper ones.
You either got a fake or it was damaged during shipping. I checked these in two retail stores
