- I explain the fishing system from Mortal Online 2. For new players and also some new stuff even for professionals. The fishing is now even more complex than it was in Mortal Online 1 because you now also have the more reel in mechanic and make the fish tired mechanic. Its very deep and require for a true professional fisher, alot of player skill and player knowledge not many have aquired any knowledge about fishing spots and baits and best baits and stuff. So its pretty unexplored territory. I hope it helps you on your future fishing adventures.

You can catch 5kg Laake in small ponds in Haven, i think ponds on Myrland also can have big fish. Really cool that not all fish are discovered!

Thanks for this, been fishing in game fine but just wanted to see if there was anything i'm missing. Huge runescape and MMORPG fishing fan and MO2 has the BEST. I'm a huge fan of Russian Fishing 4 and I was blown away that this style of FPS angling is in a friggin MMO. Still on haven levelling the skill but very happy to see people will actually, hopefully buy fish on the auction house [or broker].

With taxidermy maybe, in MO1 you were able to make trpohy heads for the walls from nearly every creature.
What’s the reason to pull the rod up with right click? I thought that’s what you do if there’s too much tension
with right click you dont give the fish more line and you dont pull him out either. its more or less "hold the line"

What skills do I need for scales and stuff for butchering fish? Or best skills to have w fishing? To get the most out of it?
you need the fish lore pisces in the zoology skill. And the scales lore, leptoid and ganoid. and panzar if you extract the more rare fishes that have pansar scales. ALso you need the buthcering skill and better use the butcher workbench and get the skill for the workbench aswell to get the max amount.

how do i give my fish "more line".. i try to stop reeling in.. and my line just breaks..
Just holding or clicking nothing. Than the fish will get more line if it needs more line. And this is only possible if you have line left on the role. And its amybe also the fishing skill. xD

So you can’t catch blood kua consistently without that exact loadout?
Works with other loadouts too. It just get the most. The problen thinner line can break easy. Also 100 hook give bigger fish. Also look on the channel for tje specific blood kua tutorial if you want.
What lore do I need in order to extract scales?
the lore you want to get out of the fish for example leptoid or gagnoid scales and the pisces lore that is for extracting fishes.

3:45 agreed. However, as a native english speaker who studied german in school, I had the hardest time figuring out the gender of everything. for example, why the hell is a skirt masculine. why god, why? :D
that is a very good question. can you imagine how hardcore the genderdebate is in germany just because everything has a gender. xD some people suggested we should gender everything correclty. than its not "Die Butter" (The Butter) than its Butter*innen. hayaa xD german language is fun sometimes xD for a non native german it must be hell to think about that gender of this chair again xD
